The four pets had just arrived in Tyrannia for what they were calling
a "vacation", but as they looked around they realised that there had just been some type of battle or
a very wicked hurricane whipped this place up pretty bad. Troola pulled out the brochure and said,
"I think the travel agent pulled a fast one on us." "Don't be silly, Troola," Kwappo said, "this is
going to be a great vacation." They continued to make their way to Tyrammet, where they had four grass
huts reserved for the week...

...They entered Tyrammet and dropped their bags. Kwappo stretched his cramped arms. "We're here!" he said
at last. Marinko the Blumaroo looked around. "It's kinda um... messy." he remarked. Troola, the Acara,
lay down, pooped. "I'm going to bed. I need my beauty sleep." "Suit yourself!" Kwappo the Zafara shouted
after her. Marinko looked back. "Shono! Hurry up!" Shono the Shoyru collapsed. "Sheez! I'm carrying your
bags Marinko!" Shono yelled back. "You should be happy!" As the four friends fell asleep, a loud roaring
started up. Troola got up. "I knew this was a rip off!!" she yelled. Kwappo also got up. "Marinko, stop your
snoring and go to sleep!" he yelled. Marinko looked out at him. "It isn't me!" he replied. Shono rolled out
of his hut. "I want my Neopoints back! This place is worse than the Cockroach towers!" he complained. Some
Tyrannians ran around, panicking their heads off. "The beast is angry! The beast is angry!" they seemed to
be yelling. Troola's mouth gaped open. "Th-th-the BEAST?! Kwappo, do you still have that travel agent's number..."

..."Forget about that number....Hey, wait a minute," Shono said, "The Beast is Angry--that sounds really
familiar to me." He squinted his eyes in concentration. "What does it matter?" Kwappo cried, tugging on
his arm, "There's some sort of beast and apparently he's angry. We should get out of here!" "No wait!"
Shono exclaimed, "The Beast is Angry is the name of a song by my favourite group, Sticks N Stones!" "But
why would everyone be yelling it and running around?" Troola asked. Marinko stuck his head outside the hut
and called out, "Hey, what are you all so excited about?" "Don't you listen to KTYR?" a passing Chomby yelled
back without stopping. Marinko found a clock radio inside the hut and turned the dial until he found
the popular Tyrannian rock station. "If you're just joining us," the DJ Roo said, "I've just
announced that the first 102 Neopets to come down to the station and tell me the name of Sticks N Stones'
biggest hit will get free tickets to tonight's concert!" The four pets looked each other and then said all
together, "What are we waiting for? This vacation of ours is going to rock!!!" And with that, they all
dashed out of the hut and into the crowd...

..."Owwww! Stop stepping on my foot Marinko!" Shono called out. The hustle and bustle of Neopets trying
franticly to get to the radio station was catastrophic. "Who are these Sticks N Stones anyway?" asked
an annoyed Troola. She had just been squashed between two rather large and bossy Unis and was looking a
little bit dazed. "Only the best rock 'n roll band in history! Duh," cried Shono excitedly. "Hey this
looks like a short-cut," said Kwappo suddenly. "I see a light just up ahead!" They broke away from the
crowd of screaming Tyrannians. "Come on!" called Shono, who was completely losing his head with excitement.
After a few minutes of sprinting through a black darkness of the thick jungle the lights of the station shone
brightly. The four burst through the doors to find they were the first ones there! They all whooped for joy
and hurried to DJ Roo, who pinched his nose shut. "Peeeeeeeeeee U!!!! Which one of you guys stepped in dung???"
Kwappo check his shoes. "Ooops...sorry. I guess I didn't really notice in all the excitement. Looks like we're
the first ones here...so can we get the tickets?" DJ Roo backed up a bit and sprayed some freshener one the pets.
"Sorry guys but those tickets are all gone...you guys are like 2 minutes late." "But we're on vacation from
Neopia Central and we really need these tickets," Marinko cried. "Sorry, but that concert is all sold out...at
least you guys got to see the countryside and got to step in some of the local specialty," DJ Roo said as he
pushed the outside. Shono winked at his friends and said, "I've got an idea..."

...With that, Shono rushed his friends behind the building. "Okay, listen up guys...we have to move fast...
here's my plan..." After all the pets knew the plan they quickly went into action. The four took the back
road back to their huts because the main road was still very crowded and stunk of dung. "All right everyone,
let's count our Neopoints," Troola said as they reached the edge of the plateau. "3,546 NPs pocket cash,"
Marinko stated. "That will have to do," Shono said. "All right, Kwappo and I will go get our stuff, Marinko
and Troola, you two stay here." Shono and Kwappo sprinted off to the jungle. After fifteen minutes, the two
returned to the others, their arms laden with leaves and mud and branches. "Here everyone, try these on for
size!" Kwappo beamed. "I hope you didn't spend my NPs on this junk," Marinko said. "No, but thanks for the
money!" Each smeared their furry selves with mud and situated the leaves and branches as such. "Hey...I get
it!" Marinko cried, "We all look like rock stars...we look like Sticks N Stones...well everyone except for
Kwappo!" "Exactly!" Shono shouted. "Troola, if people ask, you are Swaepina the drummer, Marinko, you are
Lawrnco the guitarist, and I am Gareadon the lead singer." "You forgot Kwappo..." Marinko giggled. "He
can be our bodyguard or a pretty shrub. A pretty big shrub!" Kwappo blushed red, "Well...I am doing this
for you! I don't even like Sticks N Stones. Their music stinks like all this dung I keep stepping in."
"Oh, here, this completes the effect," Shono then tossed a big clump of mud right in Kwappo's face. "Come
on guys, let's go, people are beginning to stare," Troola whined. So the four went back to the radio station
posing as Sticks N Stones...

..."OH MY GOSH! IT'S THEM!!!!!!" Screamed a frantic fan of Sticks and Stones. The four pet's head's shot
upward looking at a mob of Tyrannians that had gathered before the radio station and were now stampeding
towards them holding out pens and autograph books. "This way!" cried Shono. The pet's raced behind Shono
around the back of the radio station and in through a back door. "Quick! Lock it!" Marinko shouted about
the high pitched squeals comming from ouside. "...What ....exactly....happened....out..there?.." Puffed
Kwappo between gasps for breath. "Our plan worked! That's what happened!" Shono excitedly cried. "Yeah,
but how are we going to get to the stage, without anyone mobbing us again?" Troola said as he looked around
to see where they were. "Hhhhhmmm, well. I think I already have that figured out," said Shono pointing to
a sign that said 'backstage'. As they opened the door Marinko whispered to Kwappo, "I have a very bad feeling
about this!" Then, as they opened the door, bright colorful lights blinded them in the eyes and people crowded
around them shouting "You're late again!!!" Before the pet's even realised what was going on, they were
sitting up in chairs getting make-up powdered all over their faces. "Your hair is a mess Swaepina! And you
all stink pretty bad...sort of like dung," cried one girl. Then the hustle and bustle hushed as a man in a black tuxedo walked
through the door. He looked at the pets and said, "Your instruments are tuned and ready and as soon as your
make-up is done, I want you in your dressing rooms ready to perform. We can't keep your fans waiting!" "Wait a
minute, wait a minute! Fans??? Perform??? Who do you think we are???" Marinko blurted out confused. The man
looked surprised at Marinko and opened his mouth to say something but Shono interrupted with a fake smile on his
face, "....Ha ha! He likes to pretend....We'll be ready." The pets all exchanged glances, "What have we gotten
ourselves into this time?" cried Troola. "This wasn't in the brochure," Marinko said. "Yes, but the show must go
on," said Kwappo...

..."And so must our vacation," Kwappo continued. "The four friends were getting the final touches up on their
blush by a red Kacheek. "All right darlings,"
she said in a British accent. "If the eye-shadow begins to-" "All right, all right, Geez!" Troola interrupted.
Fear of going on stage made her voice tremble. They could all hear Sticks N Stones' fans screaming, "Marry me,
Gareadon! or I love you, Larnco!" The pets swapped worried faces, all biting their lips. "Come on, guys," Shono
said. "We're in this together, right?" "But, Shono, we honestly STINK at singing! And we stink because of that
mud you made us put on," Marinko pleaded. "Swaepina! Gareadon, and the rest! These fans desperately wanna hear
The Beast is Angry, or else this beast over here will be angry!" Their manager yelled. "We're coming, we're
coming!" Shono hollered back. He noticed the green leaves were falling off his fur. The four friends walked
what they would call the walk of shame to the stage. They saw the stage, the huge black banner saying "STICKS N STONES",
and their instruments. "Oh, now I wish I had taken those guitar lessons," Marinko thought. As the pets got into their
places, they heard all the fans hollering their lungs out. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN," Roy, the newest member of Chomby
and the Fungus Balls began to introduce the Sticks N Stones. "PLEASE WELCOME, THE STICKS N STONES!" Shono saw two
Lupe fans faint. "Hello, Tyrannia, are you ready to rock?!" he bellowed out. The crowed exploded like an atomic bomb.
"All right, a 1...a 2...," Troola screamed, tapping her drumsticks. "A 1, 2, 3, 4...

...and then the most horrible sound erupted out everywhere. "I knew we wouldn't be able to do this!" Marinko
whined. The crowd started screaming things like, "How come you're playing so badly?" and, "You stink!" The sticks,
leaves, and mud were starting to fall of the pets' fur. "Oh, no," Kwappo said under his breath. All of a sudden,
the leaves, sticks, and mud fell right off all of them. The audience suddenly started screaming, "Imposters!
Where are the REAL Sticks N' Stones? These guys stink like dung!" The Neopets threw their instruments down and jumped
off the stage. The audience ran after them as they headed for the exit, which was at the end of the hall. "Hurry!"
Kwappo yelled out. The audience was catching up. Kwappo grabbed the door handle when suddenly a hand gripped his arm
and yanked them all back. Their eyes were quickly covered up and they couldn't talk because something was covering
their mouths. They didn't know where they were being taken...

...The next thing they knew they woke up in a room with no windows, standing in front of them were the REAL Sticks N Stones.
"What do you think you were doing!" shouted Gareadon. "What if the fans hadn't seen who you really were! That would be bad
publicity for us!" said Swaepina. "Oh man you guys are we ever in big trouble!" muttered Troola. "I'm really sorry! We are
visiting Tyrannia and when we heard you were playing we ran to get tickets, but we were too late! We just HAD to see you
guys play!" exclaimed Shono. "Normally we'd kick you guys out, but since your fans, we're going to make you..." the four
cringed "Spend the whole weekend with us!" said Lawrnco. "Whoa! So you guys aren't mad!" said Shono. "Mad, why would we
be mad? That was something we would have done!" said Gareadon. "Yeah, if anything we should congratulate you guys... to be
able to pull of a stunt like that, that's just...ROCKING!!!" said Lawrnco. "Now come on you guys, we have a concert to get
back to!" said Gareadon. So the four friends followed the Sticks N Stones back on stage, where there were four empty seats
waiting for them right in front...

...The four friends enjoyed the concert, and then a short intermission came and the friends were allowed to hang out with
the band while their make-up was being re-done backstage. Troola chatted with Swaepina about what it was like to have
Wockys drooling over her, and what the latest fashions were in Neopia Central. Gareadon was talking to Shono about how to
divert attention from him while going to the next concert location, and how Shono got to hang with all the pretty Usuls and
Unis that liked Gareadon. Marinko was asking Lawrnco if he could have a quick guitar lesson, and Kwappo was trying to get the
make-up artist to go out on a date with him to the smoothie shop. Suddenly, Gareadon had an announcement. He said, "You guys
are really cool. We hardly get to hang out with anyone but our crew, no offense to anyone, but it's nice to have someone else
to talk to. So, we've decided to give you all lifetime backstage passes to all of our concerts. We're planning to go on tour
in Neopia Central soon... so, will you come and visit us then?" The four friends chorused, "Of Course!" Just then, the
intermission was over and the friends went back to their seats. The concert was awesome, and the last song, "Risk It" was
dedicated to the four friends. At the end of the concert, Kwappo, Marinko, and Troola were walking back to their huts when
they realised, SHONO WAS MISSING!!! Then Kwappo remembered Shono's conversation with Gareadon and said, "I think he's probably in the
middle of that mob of pretty Usuls. I think he'll be all right though. Too bad this vacation has to end...

The three friends waited for Shono to return.
1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours...
Finally, Marinko went to look for him. Troola and Kwappo followed. Marinko suddenly stopped
dead in his tracks and Kwappo and Troola crashed into him. There on the ground was a trail of
what looked like some of Shono's things--his scarf, headband etc."No Shono!" Troola cried and
hurried into the cave. Inside the most horrible thing met their eyes...Shono was standing there
surrounded by Usals and Unis and Acaras. The friends sighed. "Shono!" Kwappo yelled, "We were
really worried!" Shono turned around and grinned. "This is great isn't it? The rock star life!!!" he
said. Then the friends were surrounded by pets and were pulled away. When the friends finally
got away from the swarm of Usals they headed back home. Several pets wanted them to stay, but
after a long argument they left. Maybe they could see the Stick N Stones when they come to
Neopia. This was by far the best vacation ever! And, of course, they were going to have
to do it again...
