We start a story and you have to write the next few paragraphs. We will select the best submissions every day and put it on the site, and then you have to write the next one, all the way until the story finishes. Got it? Well, submit your paragraphs below!

Story Eight - Ended January 19th

Zarmisha the Warrior Nimmo and her band of Peace Warriors were off on a very long journey across Neopia, which had been recently been covered in some strange white clouds. There was a rumor of a new, peaceful land where faeries of all likings filled the skies and occasionally blessed pets by just landing on them. Zarmisha had been looking for such a place for her whole life but didn't know where to look until these clouds mystically appeared. "But how," she asked her warriors, "will we get up there?" ...Night was begining to fall so Zarmisha and her band of Peace Warriors decided to set up camp. That night in bed, Zarmisha came up with a plan on how to reach the mysterious "Cloud Land" of her dreams. If she didn't know how to get there, surely someone in Neopia must know? Early the next morning she sent her Peace Warriors on a task. They were to find a knowledgable Neopian who knew how to reach Cloud Land. Of course she thought, she must reward the Neopian who helped her so she decided to give 10,000 NP reward money to the one who would help her. Well, days grew to weeks and weeks grew to what seemed like years and still no one had come up with the answer to Zarmisha's question! She was starting to get very cranky with her fellow Peace Warriors. At last, one night as she was lying in bed she heard the crunching of leaves outside her tent... Author : angelz_in_luv

...she slowly and cautiously poked her head out. There, right beside her was the angriest Tatsu she had ever seen. She screamed and woke her peace warriors. They jumped up ready for battle. The Tatsu only laughed and said with some amusement, "What's this, a challenge?" Zarmisha explained to the Tatsu the about her quest and the reward. The Tatsu thought about the offer for a minute and said, "If you can beat me and get me to surrender I will give you guys a lift up to the clouds, if I win and get you to surrender, I will eat you all for lunch, sound fair?" Zarmisha thought about this for a minute. A lift up there would be quite nice, but she didn't want to fight. But she had no choice, how else was she going to reach her destiny? "OK, bring it on, Tatsu." The warriors lined up for battle, neither one of them enjoying this (being peace warriors and all). Zarmisha yelled, "CHARGE!!!" The brave group soon engaged in battle. Swords were flying, warriors fighting. Soon they got the Tatsu on the ground. "All right, all right...you win. I will give you a lift up there." The group jumped on the Tatsu's back and flew up toward the clouds. Suddenly the clouds turned black. Something evil had entered the clouds and corrupted the clouds... Author : dragongal1986

...Soon a loud cackling could be heard from all directions. Flashes of lightning almost hit the Tatsu. "You'll never be able to beat me! I'll take you down Zarmisha, and your little soldiers too!" Zarmisha recognized the evil voice. "Dark Faerie," she whispered. "Come on, Tatsu! We must go higher!" The Dark Faerie started a horrible storm. "I can't see!" shouted Tatsu in a loud voice. The soldiers were scared, but not Zarmisha. She was brave and could handle anything. "Go above the storm clouds." Zarmisha asked Tatsu "I'll try," he replied. The Tatsu made it above the clouds and Zarmisha and her soldiers saw something unexpected... Author : chaddums

...There were no white clouds! There was nothing but a black empty hole in the sky. "What the? Where'd the white clouds go, Tatsu?" The Tatsu was out of breath from their escape. "I d-don't know, they were here a second ago..." Suddenly, a little Air Faerie fell out of the black hole and landed right on Zarmisha's nose. "That is the smallest faerie ever!" said one of the soldiers. Zarmisha put the faerie in the palm of her hand. Its delicate wings were broken and covered in black splime and her hair was all a mess. The little faerie shook with pain. "Who did this to you?" Zarmisha asked. "The Dark Faerie!" she gasped. "Please help us, please... Author : jemina04

...Zarmisha tried to calm the little faerie as best as she could. She fed her pieces of a blue healthshroom, bandaged her wings and then found a soft spot behind the Tatsu's ear where the faerie could rest while they traveled. "Okay, little faerie, if you're feeling better, please tell us everything you know that you think may help us help you." The little faerie began to speak, "Well there is an old story, most of us thought it was just a faeries fairy tale, but now we know it was all true. A long, long time ago the Faerie Queen was having trouble with the Grundos, something had changed them. They had become rebellious, troublesome, destructive and just downright mean. So the Faerie Queen consulted with her faerie cabinet to decide what to do. They decided they would have the Kikos (who are wonderful inventors) invent and build them a magic mirror. The faeries gave the Kikos just the right magic, and when the mirror was finished it reflected back onto the person looking into it their true personality. When the Grundos looked into it, generosity (the Grundos true personality) would reflect out of the mirror back onto the one gazing into it. The mirror worked perfectly and soon the problem was solved. Over the years, however, the mirror was misplaced. But now we think the Dark Faerie has found it and is using it to reflect her evil ways into Faerieland. We've got to get the mirror away from her and destroy it! You will help us won't you...? ..."Yes, you must get it from the Dark Faerie. And get it soon before Faerieland is gone for good!" the little faerie said. "Where can I find it?" Zarmisha asked. "Well, you must go into Faerieland and find the Dark Faerie. She never lets go of it. You must devise a plan to steal it from her, and then you must destroy it quickly before she can get it back. Now listen carefully, because this is important," the faerie said, as she noticed Zarmisha begin to get impatient. "You must find a Rod of Supernova because it is the only thing in Neopia that can destroy the mirror. And remember, be careful, the Dark Faerie will not be happy with you, and I do not want you to get hurt." So she took off with her warriors in search of the Dark Faerie. It didn't take very long to find her. The found her trying to steal the Water Faerie's fin. Zarmisha whispered to her warriors, "All right, we will go behind her. Do you see the mirror in her hand? Half of you will go in front of her and try to free the Water Faerie, which will make a distraction so we can come up behind her and steal her mirror-Oh no! We haven't got the Rod of Supernova! We cannot destroy it!" Zarmisha remembered sadly. "Actually, I have one," spoke up Act, one of the peace warriors. "Ah, well that is wonderful! When did you begin to be such a lifesaver, Act? Hehehe, just kidding," Zarmisha said, trying to loosen the tension. Nobody laughed. Everyone was very afraid, but they were all ready for anything... Author : fairygoddess15

...well, almost anything. They were completely unprepared for what happened next. The Dark Faerie heard them and she quickly whipped around, angling the mirror right at Act! Suddenly, a strange look came over his face and a weird glint in his eyes. He was under the Dark Faerie's spell. He started to walk toward the Dark Faerie. Zarmisha snatched the Rod of Supernova out of Act's hand and ran away. Her Peace Warriors followed closely behind her. They retreated back a bit and hid behind some thick clouds. Anyone who was foolish enough to look at the mirror or the Dark Faerie would get the same treatment Act had gotten. Nobody wanted that. When Zarmisha reached into her pocket she discovered that she was the only one that could save... Author : bunni_angel

...Neopia. She pull out a bitten apple and remembered a saying about the Dark Faerie. "I got it," she suddenly shouted. The warriors all looked at her. As she explained to them what she was thinking, their scared expressions turned into looks of relief. Zarmisha and one of the warriors began to chant, "Dark Faeries float around, making not the tinniest sound. They whisk around with their spellbound pets, taking things and making mess. But when you feed them used food, their bad mood turns to good." As they charged the Dark Faerie they held up the bitten apple and shielded their faces. ...that her body was moving forward. "What!" she screeched, "How can this be happening?" The Peace Warriors continued the chant and the Dark Faerie was under the command of the Peace Warriors. "Noooooo! Stop it!" The Dark Faerie cried in frustration, but her will was no match for the ancient chant. Zarmisha used the Rod of Supernova and destroyed the mirror. Except for being a little dazed and confused, Act turned back to his normal self. The Dark Faerie was crying for mercy. Zarmisha stopped chanting but signaled the others to go on. She approached the Dark Faerie. "What will I have to do for you to stop?" she asked with tears streaming down her face, "Money? Power? You name it I'll give it to you!" "I don't want anything from you, at least not the way you think of it," Zarmisha said. "What then?" "I want you to take the Neopia's strongest oath to do no wrong." "No, never!" the faerie replied. "Fine, we shall control you forever. All the Neopets in the land will take turns with the chant. If you want freedom, I suggest you take the oath," Zarmisha said, sternly. "Fine," the Dark Faerie replied. "Just read this and sign it and you shall be free of the chant." Zarmisha held out a piece of paper from one of her Peace Warrior's packs. The Dark Faerie signed it. "Stop," Zarmisha commanded her Peace Warriors. They stopped chanting. "Thank you, Peace Warriors, for turning me from my evil ways and steering me right," the Dark Faerie said as she flew away. The clouds began to turn white again as the black hole disappeared from the sky. Zarmisha couldn't believe her eyes... Author : bluehorsie

...Faerieland was in full view. The loss of the Dark Faerie made everything seem brighter and happier. Faeries zoomed along everywhere through the air. The tiny Air Faerie left the security of the Tatsu's ear and smiled broadly. "You saved Faerieland! All my friends and family are safe!" She turned to face all of them and beamed a bright smile at Zarmisha. Zarmisha watched as a rainbow appeared over the land. The Air Faerie spoke, "I thank all of you for rescuing this land." She stopped, and suddenly they were all in rainbow colors. Each Peace warrior had a pure gold badge that had faerie saying, "Protector of Faeries, Friends to ALL." "And you, Zarmisha, are very courageous. All of you are blessed," she added, "You are now blessed with a special attack. Faeries will come from all over to defend you when you are in need. Here is the Circlet of the Air Faerie." She placed it around Zarmisha's nexk. "I shall remember all of you forever," she said as she zoomed off into the golden sky. Zarmisha looked around and thought to herself, "This is my new home."
