Oh, I can't wait, for that glorious day.
More Aishas for me, Horray! Horray!

Those Disco Aishas I admit, were sweet.
For a plushie collector, a special treat.
But cloud Aishas? What a surprise!
Before anyone else, that day, I will rise.

I will throw on my clothes, rush out the door.
If I get there early maybe I can get more.
I will grab each Aisha, and treasure it so.
On to my bed with other plushies they'll go.

Oh July 27! For that day, I can't wait.
I will rise very early, and I will not be late.
So, my dear cloud Aishas please wait for me,
For, when I enter that store, mine you will be.

The Mystic Peophin

An ocean blue
A sky so bright
The waves are crashing
In the deep, dark night

The crescent moon
Ivory and pearl
With the stars that glimmer
On the waves that twirl

For what appear to be dolphins
Are of no such thing
They swim like those creatures
But are a magical being

With the head of a horse
And the tail of a dolphin, truly
How graceful they do swim
How majestic is their beauty

With their wondrous jewels
And their eyes of light
They are rarely seen
From the shores at night

So if you ever wander
Onto the shore
Be quiet, calm and listen
For the mystic Peophin

Ixi and Draik

Mischievous little Ixi,
Dainty as a pixie,
Into Neopia it's strolled,
Both curious and bold.

By the looks of every feature
A friendly little creature;
From its tail to its head,
Blue, green, yellow or red!

Nimbly by it's prancing
With tiny hooves dancing.
A jolly little chum
Without a clue from where it's come.

With the Draiks they arrived,
From where we have not derived.
A greenly mead owed land,
Which lush forests have spanned,

Castles there abound,
Where a dragon-like creature is found.
Draiks fly up in the sky
Doing aerobatics so very high!

True unto its name
It breathes tiny puffs of flame;
Very helpful when it fights
Things like errant knights.

From an undiscovered world
Soon to be unfurled
They've come into Neopia,
This modern day Utopia,

To be adopted by an owner,
No more to be a loner.
To look for someone kind,
That's what they're here to find.

Cheeseroller

I once was resting on the silken green
of grassy hills, contemplating worlds unseen
I inhaled deeply, smelling the breeze,
the flowers, and the aroma of...
spicy juppie cheese?

I brushed it off, there's no cheese out here,
In fact, the Marketplace wasn't even near.
And as my Uni asked to be fed,
I smiled and *SLAM* got cheesed on my head.

And right behind it, ran a strange looking Kau,
"Oh great, I hit that person, 5 seconds off now!"
She gave the cheese a shove and ran off in a blur
All I could do was think of the cheese and of her.

I saw more cheese come rolling down fast,
And ducked as they went flying past.
And their owners ran by, and with a yell and a shout
Passed a lone Draik, who sat alone to pout.

"What is going on?" I said, looking around.
She pointed to a pile of cheese
crumbled on the ground.
"It's Cheeseroller, hello? Haven't you heard?
If you've never saw it before, you must be absurd!"

"I paid 150 for the Spicy kind, I know of no other.
And I lost! I'll be in trouble with Mother!"
She gave a small sob, and then trudged away,
Leaving me with a million questions to say.

Cheeseroller? What's that? What is she saying?
Is Cheeseroller a game I should be playing?
To Neopia Central I went, feeling uninformed,
And found that Cheeseroller
is taking Neopia by storm!

I bought some Spicy Cheese and came to a hill.
This looked like fun and I wanted my fill.
I gave it a shove, and it rolled out of sight.
Look Out! There's a rock on your right!

Down it went, bouncing like crazy!
Cheeseroller isn't a game for the lazy.
Past rocks and some grass,
over potholes and trees,
and even past some other person's cheese!

It crashed into a pothole, and got stuck inside,
Someone dashed past and said,
"You're slower by five!"
I picked it out, and gave it a thrust,
and gleefully shouted "The bottom or bust!"

At the end of the hill stood a Techo, tall and blue.
Who snatched up my cheese and said
"Now you're through"
He wore a pair of coveralls and gloves,
looking tough,
And grunted at me again,
his voice deep and gruff,

"It didn't make it down in a minute or less,
Now leave me be to clean up this big mess"
And left me standing, empty-handed and mad.
I paid 150 np, I lost, and I was sad.

Well, I found that Cheeseroller
won't let you just sit,
You've got to run,
and only can play if you afford it.
And as I watch others race fast and run far.
I think to myself about
how many cheeses there are...

Beauty Contest

Brush your teeth! Comb your hair!
Sit here! Stand there!
These are the things a pet must do,
Simply because his owner tells him to.
Don't wrinkle your nose! Stand up straight!
Entering the Beauty Contest is your fate!
Some pets enjoy it, while others do not.
Their owners persuaded them, it's worth a shot!

Smile for the camera! Strike a pose!
I thought I told you, don't wrinkle your nose!
Dozens of pictures for their owners to send.
Will this nightmare ever end?

We're out of film so you can rest.
Now I'll go pick which one's the best!
After hours of smiling, the day is done.
That wasn't so bad, it was kind of fun!

The big day is here! Let the contest begin!
After all that work, we've just got to win!
Their owners run around gathering votes like crazy.
This part of the process all seems a bit hazy.

We didn't win, there goes our streak!
But don't you worry, we'll try again next week!
And so the cycle continues,
taking pictures once more.
Until your pets running screaming
towards the front door.
