Usuki Meltdown

I knew what had happened
The moment the news came in,
It happens every year,
Again and again

With the smell of burnt wires
And electricity popping,
Even the angry janitor in Altador
bowed his head and stopped mopping

The annual Usuki doll convention
Is always to blame,
We worry about our dear Lawyerbot
And whether he's sane

He short-circuited again,
Same as last year,
We knew this would happen,
It was a definite fear

The sight of the Usukis
Is too much to take,
Lawyerbot meltsdown
And his systems will break

He should admit there's a problem
Before it's too late,
But I'm positive that's a subject 
He'll highly debate

So all we can do
Is be there for him,
Since his long-term prognosis
Looks to be grim

All Hail Sloth Usuki

With skin shaded green.
All worship Sloth Usuki,
With hair so coiffed and pristine.

Take heed and listen,
To the Sloth Usuki’s whims.
Take heed and listen closely,
To his speech as it begins.

So, even if the Sloth Usuki
Concocts plans from your shelf,
We all know Sloth Usuki
Is second only to Sloth himself!

Though we know Sloth is greater,
Sloth Usuki is easily second best,
Sloth may still be the greatest,
But Sloth Usuki is better than the rest!

My Favorite Usuki Doll

Out of the many hundreds
Of Usuki products and dolls,
There is one out there
That is my favorite of them all.

It might not be the most expensive,
It might not be the most rare,
It might not be the super-special
Limited edition Usuki of Ilere.

But it's my favorite one
And I play with it every day,
While I groom it with Usuki products
And official Usuki hairspray.

I put it in the Usuki Dream Castle
And it goes on all the Usuki trips,
And I would always take the time to fix it
If my Usuki Doll got too many rips.

And, no matter how many new ones
Are released at Usukicon this year,
My favorite Usuki will always be
The one I hold most dear.

After all, all Usuki collectors have
A doll for them that is just right.
For me, my Beach Fun Usuki
Will always be my favorite.

Today Is The Day

He already knows,

The Usukicon grand tour!
When Usukicon is over,
And all have gone home,
Check in the storage room
For a lawyer who roams.

Ode To The Biggest Fan

On this special Usuki day, 
I think only of one man. 
A truly devoted person; 
The dolls' biggest fan.

It should be obvious
Who I am alluding to. 
Presenting Lawyerbot, 
Without further ado.

Despite his appearance, 
He's passionate for Usuki. 
If Neoschool existed, 
He'd have the Doll Degree.

There's a Lawyerbot Usuki, 
With a matching costume. 
He must own so many, 
One can only assume.

And, to top it off, 
There's an avatar. 
As if we doubted, 
Usuki's true star.

I bet he's counted down 
To this day in question. 
Here's to you, Lawerybot; 
Enjoy the Usuki convention!

The Usuki Princess

Usuki princess beneath the bed,
Yawning beneath the awning
Of the curtain above her head.

Stars stitched like silver scars,
Shining aligned by the window pane,
Shyly sighing against the shadow bars.

Princess in this still tower,
Awaiting with bated breath
The coming of a prince to her bower.

Sing down the moon in the night,
Liquidly leaning on the tall wall,
Her inky eyes claim she’s aright.

When comes dawn’s sombre light,
The pale stain wakes as day breaks,
And her eyes again lose sight.

So, she rises high in the noon,
Well in her citadel beneath the bed,
And waits for the new night to bloom.

Trampled!

The grand hall is filled with such delights,
Play sets and dolls are all on show,
The clock ticks down one second, two!
And time appears to slow.

It’s a very special time of year,
For Usuki fans far and wide,
To watch their collection grow
Fills them with such pride.

Outside the crowd grows restless,
For, just beyond one wooden door,
Lies treasure they cannot live without,
Usukis for them to adore!

Two guards exchange a glance
As opening time grows near,
That moment when the crowd rushes in,
Has become their biggest fear.

An argument long since begun,
Who must open the door wide?
For neither guard wishes to be
At the head of such a tide.

But time stops for no Neopet,
And a decision cannot wait.
A coin is tossed into the air,
To leave the choice to fate.

Two sets of eyes follow the arc
The coin makes in the air,
And when the coin falls to the ground,
The choice could be no more fair.

The victor runs to seek high ground,
The loser resigned to his fate.
For Usukicon-time is at hand,
And it is time to open the gate...

A Newfound Friend

In a corner of Neopia,
In the Bazaar,
Sits a popular shop
Where many of the Neopets are

Their face pressed against the glass,
Watching the store,
Emptying their Fyora Banks,
Wishing they had more

Ding sings the bell, announcing a customer,
A baby Cybunny eagerly wanders in
Her eyes scan the shelves
On her face slowly grows a grin

Usukiland’s shelves are stocked 
With Usukis and items of all kinds,
Each waiting in a package patiently 
Before recently put up sale signs

A ladybird gently flutters its wings,
A chef presents its meal,
A bride displays her bouquet,
A fair maiden is dressed in teal

Her paw gently touches each brand new Usuki,
Wishing she could afford them all,
Unfortunately her owner said no,
She could bring home only one doll

She couldn’t decide which one should be hers,
Each doll pleading they would be chosen,
Although, of course, 
Since they are merely dolls,
They remained in place, frozen

At last her eyes settled on a ballerina
Its pink tutu calling to her,
The Cybunny grasped it in her paws
As she wandered up to the register

A smiling Blumaroo dressed in pink,
Reached for the new toy,
The Cybunny shyly beamed
And handed it to her with joy

“Good choice,” the shopkeeper called
As the Cybunny left through the door,
She pushed her way 
Through the envious Neopets
Who sheepishly waited in front of the store

At home at last,
The Cybunny heaved a sigh,
Looking down at her newfound friend
She was so happy she felt she could cry
