An Encounter With The Light Faerie
By gracelum

A brilliant flash of radiant light
A sparkling form looking oh-so-bright
I quickly shut my eyes exceedingly tight
In front of me stands a Faerie of the Light
Her melodious voice thanks me
for setting her free
I look at her wondrously
She gently asks what she may do for me
'Grant me an ability?'
This beautiful Faerie nods and smiles
She raises her wand and yells
Some unintelligible words I hear
And all of a sudden I feel superior
As she disappears into goodness knows where
I hear my owner calling my name
I have just encountered a Light Faerie
And I'll never be the same

Ugga Ugga
By destinyscall

I was very hungry one morning
When I spotted an omelette
with a note of warning
So famished was I that I did not pause to fret
But soon did I regret
That omelette that I had found
Wasn't quite sound
From that first bite I found out right away
The omelette had been rotten
for weeks before today
It wasn't long from then
That my throat swelled from shoulder to chin
It took a long time telling
With such painful swelling
I could barely say a word
I sounded worse than a choking bird
My owner was so wrought with worry
That she took me to the hospital in quite a hurry
There we learned of my sad fate
From that omelette I so woefully ate
The Ugga Ugga had struck again
The doctor proclaimed
To bed I was sent
And there I soon went
My stomach was still unhappily howling
But my owner made sure
I could not do any more prowling

Lord Luparn and the Blade
By cool_and_sweetness

The blade whirls, then stops
The Lupe dodges and hops
"I am Luparn!" He shouts to the sky
As that evil Skeith tried passing him by
"You've bitten off more than you may chew,"
The Skeith laughed and tore
Lord Luparn's blade in two!
The combat arose, the fighters growled
but as the battle began to grow foul
A mighty blade fell, the Skeith stared
The Uber-Air Faerie appeared in the Air
"Use this well, Lord of the Lupes,
for many soldiers must be made into troops!"
Luparn took it, and with a mighty thrust,
the opponent Skeith was turned into dust
"The sword of the Air Faerie!"
Luparn gasped with dismay,
In his very own paws, its legend lay.
The Lupe tested it; slashing up and through,
"You and I have got work to do."

An Ode To Dung
By neo44392

Oh Dung, Dung
How you reek
For having you around
I've been called a freak

Dung food, Dung furniture
I have it all
Even Dung pictures
Hang on my wall

So easy to shape
And very cheap
It comes in a little ball
Or a great heap

I've filled up my home
With your stench
That could be why I'm alone
But nevertheless

I have one thing to say
To thine own dung be true
Brown, stinky and smelly
Dung, I salute you!

Lupe
By impirius_orior

When traveling the Endless Plains
The grass is green beneath your feet
But you cannot stop to see it
There is someone you must meet

In eternal open spaces
When the Unis gallop home
Someone stands on the horizon
The Lupe is alone.

Through the desert and the forest
In the mountains and the sea
You can search all of Neopia
There's none as proud as he.

His coat is glowing softly
From the slowing setting sun
It vanishes beneath the ground
And he begins to run.

He hunts the wild plains
And revels in the grass
He races to and fro with speed
No other can surpass.

And when his play is ended,
And day begins to dawn
My Lupe will come home
As gentle as a fawn.

I cannot say he is my pet
For Lupes never tame
But I am proud, at least, to say,
That he told me his name.
