Cellblock
By Anko_itamu
You might wonder how life is like with Darigan.
It seems so dark, silent, and most of all boring.
They don't even have special events happening!
But if you're brave, of Darigan you'll be a fan....
For in the deepest of the citadel's prison,
A game known as Cellblock
Might make you feel edgy
If you dislike games that require strategy,
But it is not that hard: you won't lose your reason!
There are eight different opponents for you to beat.
First three are Clop, Barallus and Squire Meekel,
Each of which no one knows their story very well.
But who really cares? They are easy to defeat!
Then comes the Yellow Knight
And Number Five the Lupe.
We all perfectly know both of them are crazy:
One fought the Lord alone thinking it'd be easy,
The other babbles, believing he knows the scoop!
If you succeed in getting past the prisoners,
You will have the chance
To challenge the two jail guards;
Come out victorious and you will get huge rewards!
One last step before carrying out the honours...
You may end up
Right in front of the dungeon warden,
Ready to take him down like his little fellows.
He seems smart, but he's no different
From your last foes.
Soon he'll lose and bear his failure as a burden!
See? You can still find joy in the floating city!
It only takes you a minimum of patience,
Along with some perseverance and confidence.
Now, join those who have vanquished
The one with the goatee!

The Dung Field
By Flookadoobee
I went to visit Meridell
On a day just like today;
Just walking through a field
Past enormous bales of hay.
When suddenly a fearful stench
Came wafting towards my nose.
It smelled just like a broken drain
And a hundred stinky toes!
I held my nose and ran in fright
To a country house nearby.
A Skeith asked me why I'd come
And I sadly told him why.
"I smell the smelly smell
Of something that smells smelly."
The kindly Skeith just chuckled,
And, laughing, held his belly.
He took me to another field,
And I recoiled in shock,
For on the ground, beneath my feet
Was lots of brownish muck!
"'Tis piles of dung!" the Skeith told me,
But I was none the wiser.
I asked him, "But what is it all for?"
"My friend, it's fertilizer!"
"It helps potatoes grow and sprout,
So we can eat them here!
With a slice of beef with gravy,
It tastes great, so don't fear!"
Since then I've hated potatoes,
They feel wrong on my tongue,
For how would you feel, eating
Something grown in piles of dung?

Trouble At The National Neopian
By Goldangel13
I am a teller in this busy place,
People coming in like its a rat race.
Common folk trying to deposisit points,
While I work the security system with sore joints.
Now theres a band of thieves in town,
And pretty soon they'll come around.
If I let them in, the havoc will begin,
But I know the bad guys will not win
My security system is state of the art
Something you can't purchase at any store or mart.
It is perfection redefined,
And it shall stop criminal masterminds.
The criminal band is composed of five members:
Two Meercas, a Scorchio,
And the rest I don't remember.
Oh, yes, there's a Techo who has an infection,
And a little green Usul with a pale complexion.
This gang is determined to steal today,
I'm sure this is not their first raid.
To save these precious points, I must
Turn them into gold bars, not dust.
Oh, no, opening hour is finally here!
My security system is quite secure,
For my bank cannot withstand
Three withdrawals from filthy hands.

An Invisible Kacheek
By Essapekka_avenger
A gentle brush of air
Blows by against your cheek.
Now what could that have been?
An invisible Kacheek.
He walks with his head drooping,
His tail drags on the ground,
Because nobody could see him,
And his owner could not be found.
He sits on a rock miserably,
Too sad to even cry.
But who should come upon him?
Yes, my friends, t'was I.
I take him home with me,
And who should he see?
Three Neopet siblings,
Yes, that's right, three.
He now has a home,
And a loving family,
And even though I still can't see,
I know that he is happy.
A gentle brush of air
Blows by against your cheek.
Now what could that have been?
My invisible Kacheek.

Brought To You By
The Tyrannian Tourism Council
By Schefflera
Tyrannia's the best, no doubt,
So don't go turning up your snout
At all the dull and dung about --
There's no good thing we do without!
We've got a renewable omelette,
Zealously guarded by Lupe Sabre-X.
One slice a day, that's all you get --
That's three good square meals!
Come on now, who's next?
We have a few diseases, true,
And cures are rather expensive,
But sniff your egg for sulfur fumes
And illness won't make you pensive.
We've got the Wheel of Monotony,
All of us know it's a terrible bore.
You'll yawn till your mouth is all cottony,
But every day you'll be right back for more.
Have a ball at the Concert Hall,
Buy a ticket and take your seat.
Every band comes here, one and all;
We're the only stage for the beat!
Take a chance on Tyranu Evavu,
Then have a go at Go! Go! Go!
Play Kacheekers if that's your best venue!
There's plenty to do up on our plateau!
The Wheel of Mediocrity,
Give it a spin as you're leavin'.
You may not win the biggest prize,
But you'll probably break even.
We would like to note one more oddity:
Our council of elders, in the Town Hall.
Although our name suggests a tyranny,
We don't seem to have a ruler at all!
There's nothing good we do without:
You'll find you're spending time about
The dung and stone, so join the shout --
Tyrannia's best, without a doubt!!
