Lou: A Limerick Adventure

There once was a Chia named Lou,
Who lived on the island of Roo.
Bored of the scenery,
He searched for more greenery,
And ended up in Shenkuu.

He toured all the beautiful sights,
And sampled exotic delights.
When offered a tryst,
He couldn't resist,
And set off for Cyodrake's flights.

Excited, Lou boarded this ship,
To set off on a wondrous trip.
But the pilot was new,
And not an hour they flew,
Before the vessel began to dip.

"To starboard! Man stations! All hands!"
Panicked, the captain shouted demands.
The crew was quite tough,
But the winds were too rough,
And the ship fell to unknown lands.

Sandy and cold, Lou woke with a start.
The ship? Destroyed, fallen apart.
The crew was unharmed,
Though somewhat alarmed,
For, how could they ever depart?

Though the group seemed to be stranded,
The captain knew where they landed.
He shouted with glee,
"This is Lutari!"
And the crew did as commanded.

"Gather wood from those fallen trees.
Rope them together tight with leaves.
We'll build us a ship,
And make the home trip,
Guided by the cool ocean breeze."

The ship complete, the group set sail.
Plan in motion, they couldn't fail.
Lou looked to the sun,
"This hasn't been fun,
But boy what an interesting tale!"

The Lazy Neopet

I wake up every morning,
Or, might I say, late NST,
My owner often scolds me for
Living very lazily

I am slothful and aware of that,
But that's just how I've been,
In Neopia it's never been said
That sloth is a big sin

Most 'pets prefer to play outside
Or fight in the Battledome,
I would rather sit around,
A wise, observant stone

My siblings tend to yell at me,
For refusing to go with them,
For that, I either roll my eyes
Or flash a smile and pretend

The quieter, the wiser he is
I think as I lie down,
And watch the leaves from the tree nearby
Fall calmly to the ground

I may not be so active,
But a few books I did write,
And antisocial I am not,
My few friends I do like

Maybe one day I'll travel,
to another land I'll roam,
But until then I guess I'll stick
To the comfort of our home

Atop Jhudora's Bluff

And I fear that fate is not on my side.

For, while you promise riches,

Something in your smile makes me pause

Darkest of the faeries,
Calling me to you,
Must I sacrifice morality
To become powerful like you?

Yet, here I stand in your presence,
Filled with shame and regret,
Still, when you ask me to confirm,
I answer: "I accept!"

Gaming is the only way,
because money here will pave the way.
I guess I could take a break,
maybe work some less,
but my 'pet would look so much better 
in that dress!

So here I sit,
as beads of sweat gather,
attention, focus, persistence...
I refuse to live off of 
The Giant Omelette forever!

My 'pets deserve better;
they deserve only best,
perhaps a Meerca Sundae,
or a brand new Pirate Lutari Vest?

Either way, I must provide.
I work hard every day,
earning my pay
from Turmac Roll to "bubble shooter,"
I should be outside, riding my scooter!

Yet, alas, I love my 'pets,
and I have no regrets...
besides, gaming is awesome --
much better than a Spore Blossom.

That much flowery brawn!

While wearing her 
Spike Darigan Bracers,
Boochi hides in a corner,
Too afraid to face her.
She used to be frightened
Facing down the Tax Beast;
Holding her Techo Fanatic Plushie,
He doesn't scare her in the least!

It used to be the Battledome
Was a grim, frightening place.
Your opponents could always see
The nervousness on your face.
But now, during battle,
That's no longer the case...
AkKadya can hide behind her
Darigan Dodgeball Plastic Mace!

Yes, AkKadya's got her game face on!

Why, she can go against Balthazar
While wearing Xandra's Cunning Disguise.
No one will recognize her
While she's claiming her prize.
Or she can apply Snowflake Face Paint
While Lady Frostbite cries;
No one can defeat AkKadya
With the boost customization supplies!

When facing off against Vira,
AkKadya is sure to impress
The vainest of Acaras
In her Butterfly Dress.
Yes, now in the Battledome,
AkKadya can express
That cutting-edge fashion 
That she claims to possess!

So, if you're headed to the Battledome,
You're as good as doomed.
Your only hope of winning
Is to be perfectly groomed!
You thought training was important?
Well, you shouldn't have assumed;
Winners must be customized,
Dressed to the nines, and well perfumed.
