The Vandagyre's Adventurous Day

All is quiet and nothing stirs at night,
That is when the Vandagyre takes flight!
Off to explore the mountains and trees,
He can’t swim well so he flies above the seas.

He flies against the wind to Tyrannia’s plateau,
He stops by for a concert - oh, what a show!
He peeks quietly into the lair of the beast,
Not ready to become a vandagyre feast!!

Off he wanders to Lost Desert’s sands,
Where ancient lore drifts through the lands.
He bows his head at Coltzan’s shrine,
Hoping he can make it through the desert just fine.

Flying high over Faerieland where the stars meet,
Keeping his hoots quiet as the faeries sleep.
He quickly dips his beak into the healing springs,
And feels renewed as the magic spreads in his wings.

His last stop is the Central of Neopia,
Where he buys a snack from the food shop Chia!
His favourite bag of nuts, Vandagyre-approved.
And just like that, his mood has improved!

Vandagyre Tea Party

An irrefutable fact everyone knows.
They are always elegant affairs,

The soothing aura they exude,

That you have ever known!

Vandagyres greet their friends,
By handing them steaming mugs,
Of warm and soothing tea,
As comforting as a hug!

A Halloween Vandagyre’s Wisdom

Walking through the Haunted Woods
I look around at all the sights
A bridge stands tall, carrying goods

Suddenly I see glowing red eyes
Unblinking yet all knowing
Something about them seem so wise

A Halloween Vandagyre appears
Out from the shadows and continues to stare
Tapping into my deepest fears

What does this wise one want me to know?
Halloween Vandagyres are one to trust
So much wisdom behind eyes that glow

He disappears, I cannot ask him now
He left now it’s up to me to decipher
To carry on his message somehow

I continue towards the bridge once again
But then multiple red eyes are on me
I turn around, now I’m alone in the zen

Later on I would come to find
That bridge collapsed but we were safe
Thanks to Halloween Vandagyres kind

And keep it running smoothly besides the occasional quirk

Monty tries to keep his company on top
He loves making as many Neopoints as he can
And exporting obsidian to all of Neopia
Though those who know him might not be a fan

He’s infamous in Moltara for the work that he does
And Neopians argue that other resources need explored
Who knows the long term impacts on Moltara?
It’s why Monty finds himself occasionally being abhorred

And yet, if one did try to show

They’d note the current status quo
Is not ideal, by far.

Vandagyres only own,

The only Vanda-gem.

There’s not even a default av
Of this cute, feathered pet.
Surely they deserve to have
A few more in their set? 

So, on this November the twelfth, 
We hope to see some more.
They need more icons on their shelf,

Journey to the Great Feather

By the Great Feather, a mysterious phrase,
One that occupied this explorer's days,
At the foot of their ancient mountain I stood,
And hoped I could find it, if no one could,

The Great Feather, idol or shrine,
Soon, the knowledge would be mine,
Why was it praised in a manner so bold?
What power could a feather hold?

Vandagyre history is entombed in mist,
What we gleam from them is but a gist,
I wanted to see their ancestral home,
With my own eyes, expand what is known,

So I set forth through rock and snow,
Climbed on and on, where few would go,
It was days before I could descend,
Through hunger and cold I had to fend,

One frigid morning I caught sight,
Of a Vandagyre in swift flight,
In their shadow I followed true,
And came upon a shocking view,

A tree-dotted valley where I was a guest,
They welcomed me and granted my request,
I was shown the origin of the phrase,
Then sworn to secrecy for all my days.
