Blessed By The Faerie

I finally caught her, she's mine for today!
I feel so special in every single way!
For today I caught a pretty Faerie of air,
But I know I must treat her with love and care!
Well, I should release her, and try her out,
And I must remember,
If not blessed, DO NOT POUT!
For a Faerie need not bless every soul,
especially when most, have hearts of coal.
But I am hoping I'm different to her keen eye-
Wait, all of a sudden I feel my heart fly!
My back is tingling, my eyes are wide,
Now nothing can stomp on my pride!
I have just been blessed
with extremely sweet love,
And see her fly off, graceful as a dove.
The moment is over, but it was quite merry,
I had just been Blessed by the Faerie...

Petpet Peril!

'Twas a peaceful day in Neopias fields
so I lay down to take a rest,
but it wasn't long till Balthazar came,
to put my herding skills to the test!

He charged right into the paddock,
attacking a Doglefox's nest,
this barbaric Lupe had only one thing in mind,
to eat the Petpets that tasted the best!

I jumped up from my slumber,
broke away from my peaceful dreams,
I cringed in agony as I heard,
a poor Noils dying scream!

I rushed around left and right,
picking up Petpets as I ran
I had to try and save them all
(or as many as I can!)

Out of the corner of my eye,
I saw the Lupe,
He had cornered one of my Baabas,
"That does it you mangy brute!"

Howling a cry,
I picked up an orange ball,
it made me run at warp speed!
so I was able to save them all!

Then he saw another group, huddled close together.
he charged at them, his mouth opened wide!
and sadly he managed
to scoop a poor Angelpuss inside!

I looked around and saw,
lying aground
a snowflake to freeze Balthazar!
what a treasure I had found!

I picked it up,
and unleashed its power
Balthazar was frozen!
His expression truly sour.

As I plucked up the last Noil,
I saw Balthazar slinking away.
But deep inside, I certainly knew,
that he'd be back another day!

Little Draik

Little Draik, so wild and free,
Will ye please come home with me?
I'll buy ye your own Faerie Floud,
And build a bedroom made of cloud.

We'll play all day at Dice-A-Roo,
And Deckball and Kacheekers, too.
We'll fight the Fuzzles, if ye dare,
And then play Poogle Solitaire!

I'll buy ye your own shiny bike,
Or an Usuki, if ye like.
And if ye ever should get sick,
I'll get ye healed, and do it quick!

There'll be no omelettes for my Draik.
Ye'll dine on Pizza-Roo and steak!
And hot dogs, chocolate and pie,
And every treat ye want to try.

Ye'll have some books, to help your brain,
And go to Training School, to train.
Ye'll be so smart, so strong and stout,
The Battledome will empty out!

Ye'll love your Guild, and I'm not braggin--
All of its members just love dragons!
Ye'll have three brothers, too, ye know:
A Shoyru, a Grundo and a Scorchio.

Those three have asked me every day:
"Will ye bring home a Draik, to play?
We'll be so good, and never fuss,
If ye adopt a Draik, for us!"

So, little Draik, what do ye say?
Will ye come home with me, today?
With all my heart, I promise ye,
Ye wont regret befriending me.

Different Dream

One night I had a dream
That let me fly over the hills of
Dreamland like a Korbat,
I flapped my wings softly like a Shoyru,
Then I looked at the sky
At the Grundo's natural home,
Then I waddled like a Krawk ,
I rolled up in to a ball so I looked like a Jubjub,
Made horns with my fingers so I looked like a Kau,
I moved my fingers to the side
Of my mouth like a Moehog,
Pounced like a Kougra and roared like a Skeith.
I barked like a Lupe and whistled like the Petri.
I ran like a Meerca and grinned like an Acara.
I blew fire on my breath like a Scorchio,
Hopped like a Nimmo, charged like a Tonu,
Bounced on my pretend Blumaroo tail
And wiggled my Elephante nose.
I jumped in the warm lake and swam like a Koi,
Paddled like a Kyrii,
And struggled out quickly like a Draik.
I enjoyed the sun as a Techo would,
And hopped around like an Aisha.
I giggled like the Chias do,
And walked proudly around like all the Bruce do.
I wriggled like Peophin,
And clapped my hands like a Flotsam.
I ran around chasing my tail like a Gelert,
Played cards with the Tuskaninny,
Arched my back so I looked like a Zafara
And dressed up in my favourite
Dress-up clothes like a Usul.
I buzzed around here and there like a Buzz,
Hopped like a Quiggle,
And showed my teeth like a Jetsam.
I read a book like a Lenny,
And showed everyone my pretend horn like a Uni.
I played hide-and-seek
With my friend like a Kacheek,
I towered everyone like a Grarrl,
I slipped in to the shadows like a Wocky
And hopped back out like a Cybunny.
I played match the card with some Kikos,
Ate a banana with a Mynci and
Starred around like an Eyrie.
I woke up from this dream like a Poogle,
And a Poogle I shall stay.
It was fun being something else
But not quite the same.

The Game

The players gather on the field,
in sun or pouring rain.
They know that they have nothing to lose,
but everything to gain.

The ball is put in a Usul's paws,
only for a second or two.
Then FOOM! It goes to another creature,
maybe a Quiggle or a Shoyru.

The game commences in this fashion,
from dawn until early dusk.
And occasionally, the ball bursts on a player,
making them leave the game,
with their fur all terribly mussed.

Until there is only one pet,
that the ball has never touched.
And that pet is the winner,
of this game that's played so rough.

So if you want to come on down,
and play this rough, fun game.
I warn you it's not for pets,
who grooming-wise are very vain.
