Two Meercas combine their tails,
To catapult rocks like giant hail.
Protecting Meridell Castle is their job—

As they work together with mischievous squeaks.
“We count to three and then we fire!”
Of this trick they will never tire.

When the battle is all done,
They toss confetti with so much fun.
Their mighty tails are their superpower,
And this makes all their enemies cower.

Achoo! A Meerca Too?

Achoo! Boo-Hoo!
I think I have a cold!
Napkin! Tissue!
“Bogeys,” I groaned.

*sniffle* *sniffle*
Snot begins to flow.
*bubble* *whistle*
The mucus begins to… grow?

As I stare at the snot,
On the tissue before me,
I squint my eyes, 
I cannot believe what I see.

With a devious cackle,
My snot grows into a ball,
And before I know it,
Meuka stands tall.

“What a delight,”
The Meerca squeals with glee.
I quickly grab my Buzzer close,
In case he’s hungry.

But then I remember,
There’s a cure.
I just gotta use Cooling Ointment,
I’m sure, I’m sure.

I dive under my nightstand,
And I find the balm,
I rub it under my nose,
And try to breathe calm.

“Mwah-ha-ha—“,
Meuka pauses mid-cackle,
*sniff* *sniff* “What’s that smell?”
Clearly the balm has him rattled.

Then, in an instant,
Almost quickly as he appeared,
The big-snot ball shrinks again,
*Ahh* Perhaps my cold has cleared.

A Prickly Predicament

A visit to the Lab Ray could be a giant win or loss,
Your Meerca looks a little scared, but you've got to show those Void Wraiths who's boss!
When the smoke has cleared, you cough, blinking, and feel a little stunned,
Has your cute little Meerca always been quite so rotund?

Some might call a Maraquan zap a stroke of luck, but it's not long before you see,
However expensive the brush, it might not be all it's cracked up to be.
Your Meerca has small spines all over, sharp enough to hurt,
When they tried to give you a friendly hug they ripped a hole in your t-shirt.

When they get scared the spikes come out, and trouble surely comes along,
At the fair, a poor young Usul's balloon went pop and then was gone.
When your mother visited she didn't realise your Meerca was napping on a chair,
She quickly found out that sitting on them was NOT a good idea!

Even though it's hard sometimes, you know you're going to stick it out,
After all, isn't that what being a Neopet owner is about?
You wouldn't trade your Meerca for any other, but you've given the Lab Ray Scientist the go-ahead,
Hopefully next time they change colour, it'll be something fluffy like Toy instead!

Meerca Chase

Today as I woke up 
And realized it was Meerca Day -
I knew at once that for today,
Meerca Chase is the game I'll play!

Today I'll feed that Meerca Neggs
And try to avoid his tail - 
I know though that I'll hit that wall
Many times without fail.

Still I'll keep trying,
On that Meerca avatar chase -
I'm no good at this game, 
But I do love his cute 'lil face.

Sadly it seems that I have no luck -
No, not even today;
No Meerca Chase wins for me, 
Not even on Meerca Day!

I guess when I finish trying,
I'll go have a Meerca Treat -
And I'll resolve to try again tomorrow,
For I do not accept DEFEAT!

Snacking at Merifoods for Meerca Day

The owner is a Meerca, Pink

A perfect choice to play the part
A Loaf with Raisins, twisted brown
The best selection in the town

But then I see a Mouldy Spud
And Sludge Pie that looks just like mud
There's Gruel and Durbage on a tray
I'll look for something else today!

I count my points out in my hand
The choice is hardest in the land
The Tart is nice, the Loaf is great...
But that Dung Pie decides my fate

Just kidding! I am not that brave
It's Turnip Tart my stomach craves
The Meerca bags my chosen prize

As goalie for Haunted Woods, he's top tier!

Meercas may be small when it comes to size
But on the Yooyu field, Fanetti flies
Blocking the goal, despite other team's tries

Team Haunted Woods spooks the competition
Winning the first cup with their ambition
Since then, no wins have come to fruition

Despite not being a top placing team
Haunted Woods still makes the stadium scream
Watching the team play is truly a dream

Fanetti's Yooyuball skills are quite great
Using his long tail to help a teammate
This Meerca's tail is a useful trait!

Fanetti may be smaller than the rest
But this small goalie always tries his best
Working hard to make sure fans are impressed

Fanetti may not be as loud as some
But don't think for a second he is glum
The rest of the team knows he's a great chum

So during next year's Cup, keep your eyes out

their mischievous pranks bring them much glee!

With a distinguished long tail and prominent front teeth, 
their short legs can be found underneath. 
They are very furry but like to have fun, 
if you don’t want to be pranked, you better run! 

They are a little sneaky so you better watch out, 
definitely don’t leave your belongings about. 
If you put your crumpet down for just one second, 
shame on you, for they will soon be beckoned. 

Despite all of that a Meerca is lots of fun, 
more often than not you will want more than one. 
Just make sure you don’t let them prank you, 
and keep all your trinkets safely within view!

The Secret Behind: Meuka!

It was such a beautiful day in the Haunted Woods.
Birds chirping while Pteri catch some foods.
A Meerca was walking by, close to a brain, it stood.
Castle Nox trying to lure me into an infinite loop.

Brain Tree called Esophagor, asking him for a favour.
"Kneel before the Tree..." Esophagor didn't respond...
Lurking through the windows and Meerca was watching.
Brain Tree noticed someone watching while arguing.

"What are you doing here? Brain Tree asked!?"
I'm just here because I want to be cool like you!
Esophagor, called Nox, cast a spell on the Meerca.
Next thing you know, Meerca was called Meuka.

You are now known as the Meuka Snot who lives—
in Haunted Woods with an exclusive Lab Ray colour.
How lucky, huh? Snot colour is rarer than a Robot.
You will protect the Haunted Woods standing on foot.

You should head to Faerieland and find Fyora.
She will give you some Meuka Snot Gloves,
This will become handy for any random battle.
You are the new protector of Haunted Woods.
