ELEPHANTE DAY SPECIAL

Plateful Of Elephante Cookies
by Yuumeria

Come in, good Neopian.
Why don't you take a seat?
Down a steaming cup of tea,
Indulge in some Elephante treats.

Got a taste for cookies?
Nibble on this fancy collection.
From strawberry to caramel,
Sample our finest selection.

Crumbly Elephante cookie
Fresh from the Breadmaster,
Sprinkled with juicy strawberry...
It's our most sought after.

Savor this next delight
Churned with creamy caramel;
Add some chocolate into the mix --
Wasn't that just delish and swell?

A craving for peanut butter, you say?
Then give this sweet a try:
Drizzled with rich peanut coating,
A guaranteed savory buy.

Good old fashioned chocolate chip
Is the last but not the least,
Bestowing a spotted coat
For this golden cookie beast.

Wasn't that just delightful,
Keeping your sweet tooth at bay?
Share some with your friends
And have a happy Elephante Day!

The Proud Elephante Barbarian
by Sugarypixiestix2

She was raised on Terror Mountain,
and drank it in like a fountain.
Loving the cold sharp land's air,
as if the snow was her own fair.

Her family is of a barbarian race,
which she mirthfully did embrace.
She took to her training quickly,
defeating her opponents slickly.

Swordsmanship was her true gift,
swinging her sword mightily swift.
No one in her village was better
at knowing a sword by the letter.

Studying with her father all day,
never wanting to go out and play.
The Elephante wanted to surpass
all other barbarians in her class.

While young, she is deeply driven
to master what she has been given.
With time she knows she'll become
a real legend where she is from.

The Elephante Ranger
by Tyuio_k50

Many tales and legends
Were told of his name,
"The Masked Ranger Elephante,
The wild and un-tame."

His name is still whispered
By the dry desert winds,
Among the cacti and dust,
His tale never ends.

There's one thing he did,
And he did the best,
For he would serve justice
In the old wild west...

Have you heard of the time
He Caught Ol' Cactus Sal?
Or how 'bout the time
He got Sam the Kau to corral?

Remember when he saved Dusty Ranch,
And Miss Mary Ann Lou?
The mayor gave him badge,
He was deputy, too.

Out on the range he went,
Off into the western sky,
For he never returned
And no one knows why.

The ranger had vanished,
But not his name --
As they passed on his legends,
Will you do the same?

A hero so brave,
So honest and true,
He came and went,
Out in the wild west blue.

Dimensional Elephante
by Flufflepuff

He steps out of the Rainbow Pool
And opens glowing eyes.
The dancers at the ball would be
Both pleased and surprised.

The others murmur, step aside,
Their eyes rapt with attention.
This Elephante appears to be
From another dimension.

He radiates with a curious glow.
It'a magical, in that,
The eyes of those who see him turn,
With envy, green and matte.

In the dim light of the ball
Where Elephantes dance,
He's in the center of the room,
Leaving all entranced.

Post-party, one light fails to fade.
The last to leave, he sits.
His light retains the memories,
The times he won't forget.

200m Peanut Dash
by Ragecandybar

On a nice sunny day with a peanut in hand,
The two friends set out across the fine land.
They found the right spot, ideal in its length,
To play and to test
Their teamwork and strength.

The little pup barked, for he was eager to run,
As the Elephante trumpeted, "This will be fun!"
He took a step forward with peanut in tow,
Then coiled his trunk and loosed a great blow!

From his great trunk the peanut flew past;
Without hesitation, the pup took off fast!
The Elephante watched
And the pup kept its pace,
The peanut descended... a breathtaking chase!

And then, in the sky, a black shadow appeared;
A yellow-eyed bird
Swooped down with a sneer.
The Elephante saw it and let out a loud shout:
"Beware of the Crokabek!
Puppyblew, watch out!"

But the dog was determined and didn't give in;
The peanut was his,
And the bird would not win!
He leapt through the air and opened his jaws...
And caught the peanut! A round of applause!

As The Elephante cheered,
The pup returned in a flash.
Who's ready for another round
Of Peanut Dash?

Spare A Bag Of Peanuts?
by Audiine

Alas, I find myself once more
with a grumbling in my tummy;
might I ask my owner, whom I adore,
to spare a Bag of Peanuts?

You see, we Elephantes like this food,
we think it's incredibly yummy!
It puts us in a splendid mood,
eating a Bag of Peanuts.

I promise I won't hang out with Meepits,
and I'll even try being polite!
An avatar will be yours -- yes, benefits! --
but I'll need a Bag of Peanuts.

So the avatar isn't the Super Attack Pea,
but it is quite fun and bright!
It's better than a visit from Boochi...
so, please, buy a Bag of Peanuts?

Don't be shocked at the Trading Post prices,
we can go to the Wishing Well!
That well can be full of surprises,
perhaps even a Bag of Peanuts!

Wait, deep in your Safety Deposit Box
was a Bag of Peanuts? Do tell!
So what if it's now as hard as a rock?
I have a Bag of Peanuts!

Before I snack, I want to say:
friends, don't settle for alternates,
for today is an exciting, happy Elephante Day,
so help yourself to a Bag of Peanuts!

Feeling Ill
by Trubiekatie

When I’m leaving the hospital
With a case of the NeoBlues,
This Elephante is ready to help --
An offer I simply cannot refuse.

I just got my diagnosis
And I’m feeling pretty grim.
This Elephante can probably help,
And I’ll get better thanks to him.

If I’ve got the NeoBlues,
I need a Tasty Pie.
I’m glad it’s not an ointment
That I would need to apply.

This kind pharmacist is great.
He knows all the illness cures.
If he can help me this fast,
He can surely cure yours!

He sells all the medicine
For all Neopian needs!
I like it because I can say the name;
It isn’t some foreign-looking weeds!

So thank you, dear pharmacist,
For ridding me of these NeoBlues.
After I finish paying you,
I think I’ll take a long snooze.

Pacha, Friend Of Petpets
by Icyowl

Would your 'pet like a Niptor,
or maybe a Mazzew?
If you seek a Petpet,
Pacha can help you!

This kind Elephante,
seeks to spread cheer,
to help your 'pet
find a friend so dear.

He rescues sick Petpets
and cares for them so.
He nurtures them to health
and helps them to grow.

Then he sends them
to homes so great.
He grants all of them
a wonderful fate.

An amazing vet
and a Petpet hero.
He is one Elephante
that you ought to know!

Elephante Attack Peanut
by Indulgences

This peanut makes me laugh out loud.
It's tiny, brown, and cute.
It's so petite, I cannot help
But think that it's a hoot.

It's smaller than the little nail
Upon my little hand.
If it were any smaller, it
Would be a grain of sand.

And yet, it's still a weapon that
Can vanquish many foes,
Despite its tiny size and how
It's smaller than my toes.

The Elephante's day is here.
Equip your 'pets with care!
This peanut would be marvelous
To make its foes beware!

The Elephante In The Room
by Mothyrobin

Let's address the Elephante in the room.

She hovers in the air.
(It's comical, they say,
The way her wings struggle
To support her massive weight.)

Her eyes are averted,
Gaze turned to the ground.
She's been barred from the Beauty Contest --
Ugly, they say, is not allowed.

One by one, they pick out her flaws --
A boring dress from the Second Hand Shoppe,
Hair untrimmed and brows unplucked,
Basic paint, a major faux pas.

They avoid the topic of weight and size,
But as they send the poor Elephante away,
It's clear that neither impressed the judges.
"Try the Gourmet Club,
That's more to your taste."

So we can't fly, or swim, or run real fast.
So we are not the prettiest of 'pets.
But don't treat us like we're useless
When you haven't even met us yet.

We are loyal and kind,
Through and through,
Which is more than we say
For the BC group.

Become our friend
And we'd never let you down,
We can be the cheeriest
Species around.

And if you'd open your eyes,
Maybe you'd see,
That there's not that much difference
Between you and me.

So we're a bit bigger,
But that's how we're born.
We should be proud of our size,
Not hiding indoors.

Fellow Elephantes,
I urge you to speak out.
Spread the message,
Do me proud.

And for the rest of you out there,
Hear what I say:
We're not big --
We're just drawn that way.
