JHUDORA DAY SPECIAL

Thorns of the Rose
By Northseat

Every rose must have a thorn,
although it may be fair.
Sublime beauty may as well
have more than beauty there.

A faerie is the fairest rose,
a beauty uncompared,
yet still sometimes I wonder,
is she truly in a snare?

A broken heart that is distraught
brings broken soul and mind,
and though the beauty is still there,
She's lost the part that's kind.

And after many, many years,
sorrow is buried by fear,
she still goes on, but she knows
her tragic end grows near.

And unless she learns how to forgive,
her heart will never heal,
but only she can mend herself,
when she believes it's real.

Jhudora sits upon her cloud,
waning day by day,
she sets about her cruelty,
for she was once betrayed.

Jhudora's Game
By Kazenkori

When walking down the road one night,
I came upon a curious sight.
A faerie sat and blocked my path;
She smiled and loosed an evil laugh.
She spoke to me with largest grin.

"My pet," she said, "I do regret,
Your passage I will never let.
A game is what I challenge you,
If me you beat I'll let you through
But I know you will never win."

"Well, I must cross this path today,
What is this game you wish to play?"
I replied to her with a frown,
She saw I was not backing down.
So she gave me the game and rules.

"I'll throw this coin into the air,
And you will watch, to make it fair.
So if the coin does land on heads,
I'll win, which you will surely dread,
A game easy enough for fools.

"But if the coin on tails falls,
I guarantee you'll lose it all.
But it's too late to change your mind,
So for the flip it now is time."
Yes, it seems this was just my luck.

I thought that now, I could protest,
But what I saw would spite the rest.
Into the air the coin she'd tossed,
I was certain that I had lost.
But the coin on its side was stuck.

So I stood up and left her there.
Moaning in her self-brought despair.
I laughed my way through setting sun,
For I fought Jhudora - and won.

Jhudora, Temptress
By Reggieman721

Surrounded the swirling mists
Of green and purple smoke and steam,
Jhudora rests upon her cloud,
A wicked queen in twisted dream.

A conjurer of evil spells,
She waits in silence high above.
As down below, her counterpart
Gives quests in glade of trust and love.

But on this cloud, no love survives,
Just greed and bitter, vengeful wrath.
Oh woe to any pet who dares
To cross Jhudora's horrid path!

A fingernail of sharpened green
Doth reach out in the hazy gloom.
The faerie reaches out to touch
A pet that knows its coming doom.

"Reward," she spits, "Your dreams come true."
The temptress basks in murky mist.
The offer of a wondrous gift
Is tainted by a deadly twist.

Complete a quest for her and yes,
You will receive a glorious prize.
Alas! You will forever be
Bound to Jhudora and her lies!

Jhudora's Fame
By Skycrowmor

Purple wings, eyes that dart
Evil deeds, dishonest heart
Hatred boiling in her soul
Jhudora keeps the winters cold

Vicious smirk, prideful stance
Fevered brow, poisonous glance
Delighting in terrors of the night
Jhudora nutures fear and fright

Dark violet hair, paled face
Silent feet, deadly grace
Whipping up the stormy skies
Jhudora laughs at pleading cries

Gloating mouth, curled lip
Spell on tongue, sceptre in grip
Spreading sorrow, tears and pain
Jhudora dances in the thundering rain

Lies and terror
Fear and blame,
Tears and sighs
Hate and shame,
Jhudora loves her evil fame.

Jhudora's Nightmares
By Plumgrove

The world is dark
Behind closed eyes
She rules these stark
And evil skies

Through evil skies
Her magic flows
A faerie flies
A nightmare grows

The nightmare grows
With pulsing fear
Jhudora knows
The victim here

A victim here
Trapped in the dreams
Shed one small tear
The dark curse streams

A dark curse streams
Throughout the lands
A dim light glows
In Jhudora's hands

In Jhudora's hands
And in her heart
A spark is fanned
Stings like a dart

Like a stinging dart
Is the memory
How she was torn apart
What she used to be

What she used to be
Before dreams of night
Struck her enemy
And her own light

How her own light
Was consumed by shade
In the nightmares fright
Her goodness was slayed

Goodness slayed
By her nightmare
A dark cascade
Of hopeless despair

In hopeless despair
Jhudora waits
In the black dream's glare
'Till her darkness abates

When her darkness abates
And her evil spells shake
New light from nightmares she creates
The day breaks

As the new day breaks
And the bright sun burns
Jhudora wakes
As her darkness returns

Nightmares
