High above the Neopian sky
Dark clouds rise against the sun
Roiling, churning, surging
Done and then undone

Pushed by strong winds
Grounding large and larger still
Reaching with ashen finders
Air below yet to fill

The ancient earth rumbles
As time and times before
Fire churning beneath the rock
And rising all the more

The creatures move easy
Far easier than the earth moves
Unconcerned with underfoot
As fire fills cracked groves

Looking from the outside in
Old Tyrannia is volatile
Though to none of its inhabitants
To Chomby, Skeith, or Grarrl

The land is dry and arid
Volcanoes rain and reign
But upon the prehistoric plateau 
Such has ever remained the same

A History of Tyrannia

Dear fellow Neopians, in this report you will find
a translation of Tyrannian history, of a kind!
This information was discovered on a dark cave floor,
perhaps left there hundreds of years or more before.

It is a stone tablet, it's surface smooth and cold,
and on it is etched the history of Tyrannia of old.
You'd think it was nothing, but this is truly history!
It even solves some of Tyrannia's deep mysteries.

"Ugga grug grug raaggh!" The tablet begins to say,
that means "Tyrannia was founded across many days."
This means that this world was created not fast,
but with the effort of so many Neopets at long last.

Continuing to look at what the tablet has to say,
"Gruhh aaghh graagg," is the next sentence on display.
We can read this as "Tyrannia itself was found
after a massive earthquake with cracks abound."

You see, reader, Tyrannia was not always the same,
not easily visited to get omelettes or play games.
Long ago it was hidden from all Neopian's eyes
until it emerged from the vegetation to our surprise!

"Grug raggh ugga agh!" Writes the tablet to whomever.
This tells us that Tyrannia will survive forever!
It wants its future readers, whoever they may be,
to know that Tyrannia is and was strong, solid, and free!

On this year's Tyrannian Victory Day fellow Neopian,
I've presented Tyrannia's history to you for a reason.
We can discover much from the past, as you have seen,
as Tyrannia's history was indeed not exactly foreseen.

It emerged and surprised us, but now that it's here,
let's celebrate Tyrannia and hold its creations dear!
Like this stone tablet which was written with pride
to tell future Neopians about the world that's inside.

Be aware, ancient author of this now historic object,
we understand you loved Tyrannia, and we will protect
this unique world, which now discovered, is here to stay,
and continue to celebrate it each year on this day!

The Plateau

Go on over and I'm sure you'll agree 
It's the place to be

Step on over to the plateau
Just go with the flow
Right past the hall
Past Chomby and the Fungus Balls

No need to fret
You can bet
That you can get
Your piece of the giant omelette

It's yummy and delicious
It's an eggy treat
Hurry quickly better beat feet
It's warm and tasty, but be sure not to overeat.

The Trouble with Tyrannia, a Random Tuesday Thought

Tyrannia is free, something worth celebrating,
Brave Neopians victoriously cheer,
But on a random Tuesday I wake in fear,
Are we really rid of the Monoceraptor?
This is truly no laughing matter!

While Tyrannia fought a noble fight,
And Tyrammet still celebrates in delight,
“I will return” thunders in my head,
Something to fill one with dread

Where did this fearsome Grarrl come from?
Overflowing with teeth from his gums,
Who sent this vile creature to us?
A topic since Tyrannians ne’er discuss

But in light of current nefarious events,
Remnants of evil plots Mecha Topsi represents,
I don’t wish to start a rumour - or hearsay
But, is a Sloth plot on the way?

Paean to Victory Day

Dawn breaks on the Month of Hunting,
One year and one score. 
Wibreth rest their weary throats
As sounding from the shore,
There comes a distant roar.

This day needs no heralding for
This day all observe.
Our raucous cry, a holy prayer 
Everywhere is heard.
We sing a single word:

Victory! Victory! 
Tyrannia is saved!
Victory! Victory!
All glory to the brave!
And pity to the fallen,
Their loss was not in vain.
Victory! Victory!
The foul black beast is slain!
Victory! Victory!
Our home is ours again.

Tyrannia Mania

Of the lands in Neopia -
the twenty or so there are -
Tyrannia's the very best!
The rest's not up to par.

What good is there of Terror Mountain?
It's not Tyrannia --
Venture there, but only if
You want hypothermia.

Faerieland is overrated,
not worth the crowds and sweat
for Faerie beauty can't compare
to Tyrannian sunsets.

And plain old Neopia Central
is just suburbia.
There's no excitement, nothing like
the land Tyrannia.

Jelly World needs no words said
because it doesn't exist.
But if it did, I'm sure it would
still be easily dismissed.

Kiko Lake might have its charm
of quiet arcadia,
but once you're there, what's there to do
that you can't in Tyrannia?

And Altador is quite the bore
and so full of self-import;
we'd only go to represent
Tyrannia in sport.

Tyrannia has music,
Omelettes and more -
Plus it's really fun to say
Ugga Ugga' in encore!

So if there's one place worth the buzz,
worth all the mania --
You know my thoughts on the topic well:

A historic battle came to an end 
Against the ferocious Monoceraptor

A fearsome beast
With a thick leathery hide
Dawning scars from battles before

His army was vast
Full of Tyrannian Neopets
Who wanted Tyrannia to be no more

All of Neopia
Joined together in arms
Determined to go to war

Things were looking dire
And everyone was worried
When they heard the Monoceraptor roar

But then all of a sudden
A lone heroic Lupe arose
And managed to settle the score

Now Tyrannia rejoices
Celebrating good food and freedom
But not forgetting what happened before

Be thankful for the great omelette
The prehistoric pet colours
And the concert hall we all adore

Although many years ago
Neopia was very close  
To losing the Tyrannia we adore

The Great Tyrannia

How the ground began to shake,
Past snowy hill and icy lake,
Tyrannia was found!

First to uncover this world so new,
A species, the Chomby, our first clue,
Land so rich and sky so blue,
Tyrannia was seen!
Then invaders began to scout,
With wicked wings and whispered shout,
The villagers racked with doubt,
Tyrannia in danger!

Next wave, the monsters did not tally,
Attacking plains and in the valley, 
Neopians begin to rally,
Tyrannia needs help!

Monoceraptor, ferocious and grand,
Draws a line deep in the sand,
Prepare to fight in the last stand,
Tyrannia is primed!

Victory proclaims us all,
As we watch the great beast fall,
The whole world heard the call,
Tyrannia is free!

Now a land of music and rock,
Spin a wheel with endless tick tock,
View obelisks and omelettes with shock,
Tyrannia is great!

That will bring you merry.

Can’t go wrong with a Gruslen,
With its lush beautiful fur.
Or maybe a Gathow,
Oh, how they love to purr.

Several Neopians scour,
For the coveted Krawk.
Meanwhile others are fine,
With just a Rock.

So many petpets to choose,
Which one will you pick?
Airax, Scado or Niptor,
They’d all do the trick.

All the petpets are a delight.

To take home and cuddle at night.
