Fyora Day Special

Unspoken Words to Fyora
by lorlurin

Your highness, you ruled the land from the sky
Is it too high and too close to the light?
Now the proud realm fell in the reign of your name
Eternal scorches on the Statue
You can’t undo the flame

The illusive brightness had lasted too long
Moonlight shattered in the swamp;
Phosphorus dimmed at dawn
But still, someone has to light and lead
The way to correct all the wrongs

I watch the city heal and subtly change
On the ruins, with unblinking eyes, 24 hours a day
Among wildflowers rather than on the clouds
Frankly, I like it better this way
I wonder if you think the same

Unique wings sealed a unique role of fate
Can’t ponder, can’t fear, can’t even hesitate
Restraint your amethystine hair,
Amethyst on the pale blue crown
Sixty grams of jewel that weighs sixty billion pounds,
That fell down

But, my teacher and Queen
You can’t fall down

Fyora the Retail Queen
by geneames1

As the Faerie Queen I have many jobs
I'm ruler of all Faerieland
But one of my tasks is tending a shop
selling rare things that I keep on hand

I cater to discerning shoppers
they might find an item they love
If they know where my storefront is hidden
In the city, perched high up above

Fabulous weapons, a paint brush or two
Armour, a Faerie Queen doll
Amulets, scorchstones and several books
they find that I carry them all

So if you know where to find it
then drop by my store for yourself
You may find an item worth buying
tucked somewhere away on a shelf

A Very Fyora Morning
by starofcolors

The sun shines into the tallest
And most glorious tower in Faerieland
She opens her eyes like beacons, the brightest
Already facing the day with command

She takes a shower in healing water
Water that she blessed herself
Then she dresses without falter
Looking like a queen is an art of itself

She brushes her hair as if she had no cares
But deep inside she's thinking, as she grooms
Pondering about the deepest affairs
And spraying on the sweetest of perfumes

Every day is a busy day for her
Governing with righteousness
Doesn't come with rest, she's aware
Evil will never stop its lawlessness

She heads towards her balcony
Her heels click and echo through the walls
She walks the walk of moral totality
Like a sister, a mother and a goddess above all

She opens the balcony doors
To find a crowd cheering her on
"Fyora!, Fyora! It's Fyora we adore!"
"We love you, Fyora!" They chant on and on

Everyone knows her name
For quite frankly,
She has the most righteous of fames
Not a trace of infamy or villainy

But as she puts on a smile and waves
Deep inside she is serious and stark
For she knows the lightness of day
And the peace in the air

They may not last forever
And that if a day with evil were to come
The strenuous weight of justice
Is a weight only she can carry, all alone

Fyora's Tower
by xiaolin10413

Hidden behind the clouds,
Casting dancing shadowy shrouds,
There lies a hidden tower,
Stocked with many items of power,
Out of sight from the touristy crowds.

Fyora works tirelessly in her shop,
Nestled in the tower at the tippy top,
Selling items to loyal customers,
Wary of the scammers and hustlers,
Not one item she offers is a prop.

Beautiful brushes are up on display,
Perhaps Darigan is your preferred dastardly shade?
Maybe babies and sippy cups galore,
Or crowns and Royal adore?
Maractite brushes, Fyora could persuade.

The weapons are kept behind lock and key,
The warning signs best taken with heed,
Swords with great strength,
Blades held at arms length,
And a beautiful trident, straight from the sea.

Potions of all colours line the back wall,
Options to take for the battledome brawl,
Different types of dung,
Just made to be flung,
To give some force from the hidden tower haul.

For youngin's, some toys,
Or for the collectors enjoy,
Beautiful faerie dolls,
The cause of many bank falls,
Propped up with grace and poise.

Lastly, on a shelf,
The favourite of Fyora herself,
Dusty old tomes and books,
Will leave any reader hooked,
And leave one with a sense of purpose and self.

Discounts available if you are blessed,
Or perhaps the discount day you guessed,
Three or ten percent off,
Surely nothing to scoff,
And three hours a day, Fyora gets a rest

Next time you visit Fyora's establishment,
Tell her with confidence and be adamant,
Happy Fyora Day!
Take some time to play,
For we all recognize your accomplishments!

Working for Fyora
by saqo

Shimmering, swirling, lavender and pink-
this Faerie Queen is not what you think.
You may view her as powerful and aloof,
but Fyora is actually a bit of a goof!

Did you know burritos are loved by her?
(Oh, that's right, this is just a rumour!)
Well, I might say I know best, even so,
as I served as her secretary long ago!

It was my dream job, working for a queen
of the faeries of Neopia - I just beamed
when I heard I had received this post.
(Not, friends, that I want at all to boast!)

I would work directly with Fyora, you see
to make her daily life smooth and easy.
Did you have a quest from Fyora, one day?
I decided the items you needed to convey.

Fyora ran out of burritos when I was awake?
(Oh, that's right.. not true, my mistake.)
Well, as long as I was up and running,
Fyora's tasks came to me, and I was cunning.

I had to be smart to keep this dream job,
of working in Faerieland. My heart throbbed
each time I saw Fyora, pink, purple all through,
sparkling in the Faerieland sun, heart true.

She has a sense of humour, Fyora does indeed,
and she cares about all who live in Neopia.
She is fun and cheerful, her ageless self,
and she governs Faerieland all by herself.

Not cold or aloof, this queen is a legend!
She felt, I say honestly, like my dear friend.
Although I was just her lowly secretary,
a companion! That was how she viewed me.

What a queen! She rules over Faerieland all,
from pets to petpetpets, large and small.
While today I am retired from this career,
I still hold all my memories of Fyora dear.

Fyora for the Cup!
by neoreturnee

From Faerieland she graces,
It's first place she seeks.
The cup is not for the weak.

Fyora we serve to please.
On the field we dare not freeze.
It's time to show Faerieland's expertise!

From Faerieland to Altador,
It's time to show our opponents the door!
Fyora we play for you!
We practice through and through!

We learn from the best,
Fyora knows the rest.
We play for you!
Fyora, Fyora, Fyora,
Faerieland is here to represent our queen!
The Faerie Queen,
In the stands she cheers!
Here we go!
Fyora blesses team Faerieland!

Fyora the True Queen
by imhere4now1

One can never hate Fyora!
As a leader, she is strong
an infallible Faerie Queen
she is hardly ever wrong.
She reigns over a land that
crashed onto land from sky
that never crushed her spirit
after that initial sigh.
Her loyal faeries adore her
for Fyora's always fair
and though she is often busy
for each of them she cares
Fyora deserves much love and respect
for being a true queen-
one of the best leaders
Neopia's ever seen!

The Faerie Queen
by albinomoon

In a little wooden glen
Fyora was fixed her hair
she had locks of auburn brown
her skin was milky fair.

Delicate, gauzy spun
adorned her back like angel wings
humming a mellow breeze
following as she sings.

It was a comforting, heavenly song
sung in sharp foreign tongue
full of dreams and hopes
of when the days are young and long

Although her youthful beauty
complemented her body and gaze
she had fought long and strong
all throughout Neopia’s long race.

She was older than tall trees
her petal peachy skin didn’t show
how her features were forever frozen
by an ancient magical glow.

Her beauty beamed lovely and bright
she is aged well within
her delicate fairy frame
is never frail nor thin.

So here, softly I wait
taking in her song
and the angel gauzy wings
before she’s all gone.

Fyora's Quest - Are You Prepared?
by skatabo

It's said that Neopia's brightest are blessed
With a visit from Fyora and offered a test
Will you prove yourself among the best of the best?
Will you conquer the trial of Fyora's Quest?

You should know that the faerie caves are not for the meek
With such dangers around, there's no time to be weak
But know that it's not only treasure you seek
But the right to be seen from the top of the peak

The light faerie's cave is the first trial you'll face
The shimmering walls have ethereal grace
But make no mistake; to the end you must race
Or wind up forgotten in this accursed place

Next come the fire caves, blistering hot
To get through the heat, give it all that you've got
Use the dynamite wisely; give it pause and great thought
For ahead lies the treasure that you've so boldly sought

Then come the dark caves, a blackened abyss
Behind every corner there's something amiss
In speed and in care, do not be remiss
Or find yourself wishing for darkness' sweet kiss

The earth caves have riches and great gems in store
If you are but willing to strike from the fore
But be mindful of traps left by thinkers of yore;
For the boulders and spikes are not wise to ignore.

The watery caves hold the next part of your tale
Through the walls you can hear a siren's lone wail
Though the dangers therein on your life do assail
Hold fast to your courage, and you shall prevail!

The air faerie's caves may seem like a breeze
And at first you'll move through with the greatest of ease
But move yourself quickly and find all the keys
Or you'll end up with a chill in winter's deep freeze

You've made it to Fyora's cave, but don't think you're done
The walls are closing in; you'll just have to run!
But with first-rate spelunking that is second to none
You stumble through an opening, and at last, see the sun.

There stands Fyora with her radiant glow.
She bids you come hither without words, but you know.
She hands you your prize, shining aglow.
And above, in the sky, you see a rainbow.

Ode to Fyora
by br0okie

Queen Fyora rules us from her stately tower
The Lady of the Western Skies—
Quiet, serene, a vision in pink
And lavender,
She guided us through the darkest nights.

Long ago, she imprisoned The Darkest Faerie
Turning her into solid stone—
The guardian of all of Neopia
And Faerieland that she calls her home.

Protector from the wraiths that darken
The doorstep of the Faeries´ cloud,
She created The Faerie Festival to fight
The burden of that looming shroud.

Help the faeries, keep the bond
By bringing them gifts from far and wide,
And celebrate Fyora today
The graceful Queen, our Faerie pride.
