In Neopia, they're usually in the South.
They have lovely skin that's smooth and shiny,
They're actually quite big, definitely not tiny! 

With honour and glory in all their hearts,
Without a doubt, excels at martial arts.
Best example is Mystery Island's own Ryshu,
who surprisingly enjoys writing a haiku.

Sydney who runs the Deserted Fairgrounds,
Can sell you scratchcards to no bounds!
He may seem sketchy and dishonest,
but not all Nimmos are like that, I promise.

Many lovely colours embrace their elegance,
For one of their best qualities is intelligence.
Do not forget they are one of the best swimmers,
Having a Nimmo makes your Neo-family shimmer!

Ryshu the Nimmo

Master in Training

On Mystery Island, you’ll find a master,
Teaching strength and becoming faster.
This Nimmo is cloaked mostly in black,
Send a message to foes before they attack.

He carries a trust wooden stick at his side;
A token to his success and pride.
When you enroll in a course of his,
He will quickly begin to teach and quiz.

As you train to eventually enter the fray,
“I can only show you the door,” he will say.
As a reminder to warriors to never quit:
“You’re the one who has to walk through it.”

Serving the Techo Master is his role,
Managing all the Neopians who enroll.
You’ll pay him codestones as an entry fee,
Did you think this knowledge would come free?

Some training will take up to one day to learn,
Until a certain level, all pets can return.
You can study in level, strength, defense, health or speed;
Whatever skill you lack, they can train what you need.

The Nimmo Who Sells Such Beautiful Backgrounds

A Nimmo who sells quite divine
And gorgeous, most impressive wares,
Sure to garner lots of stares.

"Hi," she greets you with a smile.
"I will make this worth your while!
Why would anyone wear white
When you can wear Kreludor, right?"

Her backgrounds are amazing! I
Consider all, but can't decide.
A Pretty Tropical Lagoon
Or Break from Winter, sea so blue?

Eventually I pick and buy.
Beginning Springs shall stun. Oh, my!

While Sitting on Their Lily Pads

While sitting on their lily pads,
Two Nimmos croaked out loud.
They were spotted and were happy
And they were even proud.

They looked up and heard some buzzing,
So they jumped down in the grass.
In the sky flew two Buzzers.
They were flying so high and fast!

They jumped back on their lily pads.
Their stomachs made a loud noise.
They hadn’t eaten all day,
So they waited with great poise.

Maybe the Buzzers would come back by.
Then they would have some food.
If they can’t catch the Buzzers,
Then they would be in a horrible mood.

The Nimmos sat patiently 
Thinking of what to do.
They then had an amazing hunch
That involved using bamboo.

The Nimmos took some bamboo
And used a little string.
They made two amazing nets,
So they began to sing!

The Nimmos held their nets proudly.
They had an amazing plan.
They would jump up high and catch the Buzzers
With their nets in hand.

The Buzzers flew over their heads.
The Nimmos were very pleased,
So they jumped up high with their nets
And caught the Buzzers with ease.

While sitting on their lily pads,
Two Nimmos were eating lunch.
They were glad they were patient
And had that amazing hunch!

The Evolution of the Nimmo

Underneath the water streams
A Nimmo egg awaits and dreams
For the day it gets to burst out and live
In the pond from which it's native

Then one day the sun shines bright
And the Baby Nimmo hatches to light
Turning from an egg of jelly
Into a tadpole with an underbelly

Quickly it swims away
Knowing its way, never astray
Learning the taste of algae, steadfast
And tiny Mozitos for breakfast

Until one day, two legs grow
From its beautiful tadpole torso
In that moment, a new phase will begin
For the Baby Nimmo this is a win

It sees the earth outside the river
Desiring to freely roam
And although the Nimmo is a believer
Its legs must grow long before it can run

Time goes by fast for our small friend
As it grows in strength and length
Becoming a powerful frog
Ready to in the grasslands jog

The humid mud, the tasty bugs
The sunny mornings, the forest shade
The smell of the swamps and roses every day
"My life is just beginning." the Nimmo says

Nimmo Day into Nimmo Night

A Green Nimmo,
With legs so long,
Sits and thinks,
Staring into a pond.

He watches the fish,
And his koi friends,
and the reflected horizon,
Wondering where it ends.

The sun is setting,
On a beautiful day,
Leaving only a few hours,
Until today is yesterday.
While the sunlight stays,
Before day fades to night,
Let us be thankful,
For the last rays of gorgeous light.
They set upon the Nimmo,
And his skin, lily-pad green,
Casting behind him a shadow,
That will fade into a dream.
Just as today away fades,
Into a memory of a thought,
You can still be thankful,
Of what was and what was not.

Gives life and takes it away.
With his immense power,
