A Story of Two Lupe Pups

Moon travels 'pon clouds
over seas of umber trees
Under one, Lupes lie

They quiver in fear,
separated from the pack
They are only pups

Suddenly, rustling
A Chia appears, angry
looking for revenge

He spots the two pups
grinning, he laughs happily
thinking he's in luck

The Chia's backpack
Chia pulls a bag from it
and catches the pups

Snarling and growling
the Lupe pups try for freedom
but the bag is strong

The Chia runs home
shows bag to Chia siblings
they shout in delight

The Chia siblings
costly paint on fell faces
scares the little pups

"What should we do now?
Take them to the Battledome?
Our secret weapon?"

"Yes," says one Chia
"We should use the weapon soon,
get the flour sack."

The Lupes start to cry
they've heard of Chia flour
then, an idea!

Chias haul the sack
not used to all the hard work
they grunt and struggle

"Can't use this item,"
says a large white error screen
"Pet must be in fight."

Three carry the sack
One carries the wiggling bag
to the Battledome

Once they're in the fight
Lupes grab pawfuls of flour
and start to aim them

The Chias laugh hard
almost rolling on the floor
until they are hit

They yelp in surprise
expensive paint turned yellow
Chias start to run

Grown Lupes soon appear
they run after the Chias
and then surround them

They drag the Chias
then they all say to the pups,
"Your pack is back now!"

What's happening now
pups now leaders of the pack,
Chias in the pound.

I find it a surprise that what's in style
has a smell I think is vile!
A stench that could curl your hair,
is coming from my dung reclining chair!
Ignore the smell if you are able
and admire my hewn stone table.
I keep my house as neat as a pin,
by using my state of the art rock bin.
Another smell has reached your face?
Oh that is just my dung fireplace!
Why are we going back in time this year?
Because Tyrannian furniture is here!

Back in time when caves still stood,
having this furniture was so good.
So enjoy this little trip back in time,
just dont get to close to this dung grime.
The chairs, they make for a good pose,
but I must say they offend the nose!
"Your house smells!" my mother said,
but she happened to like my hewn stone bed.
I like good style, I think it is swell,
now if I could only get rid of this smell!

Poogle Lover's Anthem

March to the race track!
One! Two! Three!
Poogle racers all are we!

It's lots of fun.
We've races to run,
we've mountains to climb,
Poogle racers are sublime!

Better than the other sort
of Poogle that has no sport.
Red and yellow, blue and green
fastest Poogles that you've seen.

Some Poogles sing,
and others fight.
Well those Poogles just aren't right!

If you want a Poogle friend
who always win it, in the end,
if you want a top rate pet,
racing Poogles are the best bet.

If you've a Bruce, or Blumaroo,
add a Poogle to those two!
If you've got one, then get another!
Have all you want, any color.

But Poogles might not be the best.
Might not be above the rest.
Are those other pets really of some use?
Have I been rude and obtuse?

Maybe I should try a cute Bruce, too...
or a cuddly Blumaroo!
Can they run, do they climb?
Do they skydive
at half past nine?

They can't? They won't?
Now, what a shame!
Without my Poogles it isn't the same.

A pet that's cute...
and cuddly too!
One that runs
faster than mach two.

There's only one thing to do!
I'll go to the center,
I'll ask very polite.
How many Poogles do you have tonight?

How many can I have?
Twenty? More?
A thousand Poogles 'cross the floor?
What's that you say? Four?

Only Four?
But I want more!
A million Poogles to adore!
Oh, well.

I guess four is good.
We'll race throughout the neighborhood!
And when we're done,
we'll have some fun.

This happened to me yesterday,
While searching for a game to play!
Meerca Chase, been there,
Techo Says, done that,
Destruct-O-Match, Codebreakers, Armada, drat.
But then right there to my surprise,
Was a game I didn't recognize!
"Wow! A lottery! Fun, fun, fun!
How much money could I win? A TON!
I'll just buy one ticket, no two or three!
Who cares about the 100 Neopoint fee?!?"
Those were the first thoughts through my head,
Before I decided to buy five tickets instead!
I picked my numbers one at a time,
Two, ten, twelve and even nine!
I couldn't wait until the lottery was drawn,
It would at early morning dawn!
I was so certain I would win,
Just thinking about the money made me grin!
At 4 AM while I lay in slumber,
Neopets' staff picked each and every number!
First thing this morning when I woke up,
I hoped that I would have good luck!
Turned on my computer, went to the web site,
Looked at the numbers, and to my delight,
I got four of the six numbers right!
But even with my luck, there was spite.
Somebody got five right, not four.
So for now I am still poor.
I'll keep playing the lottery,
But someday, somehow, the winner will be me!

The Story of Kasuki Lu By Chessydacat

On Mystery Island
On a hot hot day
When little Kougras and Kois
Came out to play
The sun suddenly came out
Heating the land!
The water became hot,
As well as the sand!

But a large large Chia,
Sitting in his house of bamboo
Was not affected by the sun -
An ability of few
Jetsams and Flotsams,
With their families and friends too
All came to look
At this large "Kasuki Lu"

He said out loud
"I will not block the sun!
You have bothered me,
And ruined my fun!"
All the pets living
On the island became sad
But a couragous Kougra,
Became quite mad.
His ears started to steam
And his smile was no longer glad.
He extended his claws
And looked up and said,

"If you will not block
This very hot sun
Then I challenge you in a match,
One on one!
If I win you must block the sun
But if I lose, you get to
Tear me apart, sound fun?"

The Chia thought,
And looked at this pet
He got up, nodded,
And then he was set
People on the island
Got ready to see
This match between the Kougra
And the enemy

The very large Chia
Slammed the Kougra to the ground
He stomped on him
Then threw him around
The Kougra was being beaten,
And was hurt too
But he noticed something
About Kasuki Lu

The particular Chia
Was getting very tired
He was thinking about food,
Probably something he admired
And without it in a battle,
Kasuki Lu would not be focused
So the Kougra got up
And started to gather a locust

He then quickly grabbed a berry
From a bush and put it on a plate
Kasuki Lu saw this, and he rushed
Toward the small little grape
But a locust was on it,
And choked poor Kasuki Lu
The Kougra then beat him,
Now he had to block the sun too!

So that is the story
Of old Kasuki Lu
And...
always watch out...
He could eat you!
