The Skeith Who Ate Everything

There once was a Skeith in Neopia
who like his species was always hungry
And if he didn't get food immediately
things would get quite ugly.

He would go to the nearest thing
and take a big, hungry chomp
from the tablecloth in his Neohome
to a scroll found in a swamp.

But that wasn't enough, soon
he would go on the prowl
Taking bites out of everything
as his face wore a scowl

From nibbles at the chocolate factory
to munching on clothing
Everything got a bite out of it
as he went about roving.

He gulped down rare items
and almost ate a Lupe's tail
and, though it smelled bad
he drank down a Skeith Juice Cocktail

But disaster was averted by
an enterprising factory foreman
who realized he could use his hunger
and came up with a master plan.

He hired this hungry Skeith
to work in his jelly factory
Where he could eat the garbage
and save all of his jelly!

So that's the story of how
one Skeith's appetite
created a fun game
That Neopian's can play all day and night.

Skeith Juice Cocktail

A skeith juice cocktail,
Menacing by sight and sound,
Will make almost anyone pale,
But does it really contain,
What is seems,
A skeith brain?
Or is the cup a skull?

The Spooky Food's Bruce,
Will not say,
But he kinda put it to me this way,

You want me to tell you,
I pray?
Well,
You really don't want to know,
But it is only for show."

My Skeith Loves Cheese

When asked his dinner preference,
My Skeith e’er will reply,
“Cheese, please…nothing but cheese,”
Till I’m fit to cry!

His cheese need is alarming;
I noticed the red flag
The time I caught him gnawing
On a Smelly Cheese Bean Bag!

And when he breaks out in red spots
He doesn’t seem to care,
Till he finds they clash with everything
That he has to wear.

Every day, at snack time,
He demands his Cheese Puffs;
And if he doesn’t get them,
He will storm off in a huff!

He loves it on his pizza,
And tucked inside a pasty;
He’ll wolf it in a minute flat
And never think he’s hasty.

And there isn’t any type of cheese
That he’s known to refuse;
He’d rather drink a cheese milkshake
Than refreshing Apple Juice.

But the final straw has come…
I feel I could just scream…
For dessert, all he wants
Is Mac and Cheese Ice Cream!

Celebrating Famous Skeiths

On the 25th day of Gathering,
Neopians from far and wide
come together to celebrate 
and show some Skeith pride.

Possibly the most famous Skeith of all
is best known as the leader of Brightvale.
King Hagan is wise and intelligent.
In comparison to him, others are pale.

Possibly the most infamous Skeith of all
goes by the name of Malkus Vile.
Known for his evil deeds and mischief,
he's one Skeith you hope not to see for a while.

Possibly the most irresponsible Skeith of all,
Snargan resides in the Meridell castle.
He lives to gamble with Double or Nothing.
Those he challenges are given quite the hassle.

Possibly the most underappreciated Skeith of all
is a quiet Skeith you visit each day.
If you trust him with your neopoints,
some daily interest he'll pay.

Snargan the Ramblin', Gamblin' Skeith

Snargan is a tricky Skeith.
He has among the sharpest teeth.
His chompers match those of a Seece,
Though he's not cute, as you see.

He gambles for loot to keep.
Flipping a rad silver piece,
The outcome will always depend
On a simple toss, my friend!

If you win, your points shall double,
Yet a loss brings so much trouble!
He will keep all of your gold.
That's his move so very bold.

However, if you go far,
You will win an avatar!
Or a trophy super grand,
Among the greatest in the land.

So maybe the game is worthwhile.
If you play, you will spend a pile
Of Neopoints on horrid losses,
Yet your avvie will be boss.

Glamorous Skeith Dress

This dress is made of fine, pink silk.
The neckline's graced with pearls.
The waist is cinched with ribbons white.
The skirt is meant to twirl.

No other dress is prettier
Than this most perfect gown.
You'll want to buy the matching shoes,
And even buy a crown.

The dress is soft and shimmery,
With sequins, rhinestones too.
No other dress is quite as fine.
No dress can match its hue.

It's Skeith Day, and your Skeith may want
A dress for this great day.

Skeith Teeth

Skeith have so very many things that make them unique and special.
They have their ample and large size, with big full bellies.
Their squinty eyes that gaze right into your soul.
Swishy, long tails with iconic spike-y bits.
But if I had to choose my favorite,
After their snarky grins,
It would have to be,
Their many white,
Impressive,
And sharp
Teeth.

Dilemma or Blessing?

I adopted a blue Skeith
a long time ago
since he was saddest in the Pound -
So I thought "Why not?
It might be interesting
having this fellow around."
The first few days were spent
getting used to the new 'Pet,
I noticed he devoured some items
his big, hungry eyes met.
I'd look around my inventory
for something I had bought
I often thought to myself
"Surely, there is no way
I imagined this, or forgot"
I asked my other, Neopets
where my possessions went
They meekly replied
"The person to blame's
our visiting Skeith gent"
Of course, they did not
hate the blue Skeith
He's friendly and demure,
his weakness lies in
his appetite -
He can't control hunger,
I'm rather sure.
Despite that,
 I still liked the Skeith
and how he wasn't picky
when it came to eating foods
the other 'Pets found icky.
(Skeiths are always willing to
lend a helping mouth or tummy
None of them would ever complain -
Even gross foods can be yummy!)
One bittersweet day,
the blue Skeith told us
that he yearned
to be elsewhere
and that he liked having us
as a host family
who provided him with care.
So, with some hesitation
we gave him hugs
and I was forced
to bring him back
In the Pound this time, though
he looked happier
because I gave him snacks!

So wherever you are, dear blue Skeith
a Happy Skeith Day to you,
I wish you all the food
your new owner could get -
and some non-food items, too!

Haskol, The Second Guard of Cellblock
