The Coconut Cutie Mystery Capsule: A Tropical Treat
by _brainchild_

The Coconut Cutie cap, sure to delight,
Is gorgeous---no better grab bag is in sight.
It's perfect for summer, and sure to enthral.
This quite vibrant capsule is better than all.

The items inside will make Neopets grin.
For example, a Flotsam waves its lime green fin
On the T-shirt, which most Neopets will enjoy.
The bright colour, cyan, is so cool, never coy!

The filter shall glitter with flowers and glitz.
On a summer-themed Neopet, it surely fits!
Plus, the swimsuit, so lovely, is floral and fun.
I don't need to see others---my shopping is done!

Bonus items abound. From the beach to a drink
To the Summer Glow Makeup, these dazzle, I think!
So, keep buying until one of these gems arrives.
You'll be super excited, and glowing inside!

Friends, you must grab these caps while they're still at the mall,
Because once they retire, they're gone, so don't stall.
These quite tropical wearables will lift all moods,
From the most vibrant clothing to coconut foods.

A Vandagyre in the Forest
by laurneoneo

A Vandagyre in the forest
Is a brilliant sight to see
Above the clouds
Looking straight down
From the top of a Neopian tree.

Peophins fly
And Kaus will graze
All over Meridell,
But there’s nothing quite like a Vandagyre
To make the day go well.

Fyora’s laugh
Illusen’s gaze
Or a Faerie Quest or three,
Cannot compare to a Vandagyre
At the top of a Neopian tree.

Neopets love
by psychopathkat

Adopting you was all I could do.
Seeing you with loving eyes awaiting for me.
I reach to take you within my grasp only for you to still be a distance away.
Signing the papers was the final, but could I sign it.. could I do this making my life so much more different? More responsibility?
Looking to you once more made the choice clear, signing is what it takes, after all...
Adopting you was all I could do.

The Wheel of Knowledge
by dontaskmeetheweather

I wanted to visit Brightvale
To hear from King Hagan, you see
For I heard that his wisdom
Was true, not a system
I hoped he’d have guidance for me

I wanted to visit Brightvale
As a scholar, I just had to know
If the difference between
Paint Brushes Red or Halloween
Was worth the big hit to cash flow

I wanted to visit Brightvale
They said “Hagan’s is the place to be!”
So I packed up my cart
Full of determination and heart
And set off with a feeling of glee

I wanted to visit Brightvale
Hagan’s Wheel of Knowledge, ready to go
Time to give it a spin
I sure hope I win
A gift, the answers that I yearn to know

I wanted to visit Brightvale
But it seems I have simply forgot
That spinning a wheel
Is less than ideal
And now all I have been left with is nought!!!

Jetsam
by starrynight5674

I have collected many,
Very large, or very mini,
Petpets, Neopets,
Some dry, some wet,
But over them and all the rest,
Only one has passed the test,
He is better than all the rest,
He was made with a crest,
His is living on the flotsam,
And his name is, Jetsam!

The Neocola Machine
by jrayeb3

This time, it’ll be different,
He thought.
This time, the tokens I’ve earned
From beating that Defender Robot into a pulp
Have luck about them.

He ran his paws over them,
Smooth and hard,
Turned them over and over again absentmindedly,
The portrait of Sloth grinning at him,
Taunting.

The first one was blue;
Blue was fairly lucky,
Not as lucky, of course, as red,
But better than green, old legends said.
He’d heard the rumours of swirling potions
Wrapped in neat packages
Falling from the machine,
Of terrible and transformative power.
And so he slotted the coin,
His fingers absentmindedly deciding for him the flavour of his “drink”.
He picked Smite,
(though he’d never tasted it-
He didn’t think it existed)
And pressed the red button 3 times.

A loud clunking noises, a delay,
The air heavy with silence and low gravity.
Finally, a package landed in the chute.
He tore it open with his claws,
And inside was:
762 Neopoints,
And a Gummy Baby Space Fungus.
He sighed,
And readied the next token
Into the slot.

Who Am I? (Lament of a Lab Pet)
by bongo_58

I've been zapped for so long I don't know what to do
I think I was once a Vandagyre of Blue
I've been a girl, and I've been a boy
But The Scientist thinks I'm just a toy

Otto says I'll be strong, and I guess that's true
But can't I be strong, as a Vandagyre too?
When I look in the mirror at the pet that I see
All I see is what The Scientist made me to be

I've been Water, and Fire, and Marble too
But inside my heart I know I'm still blue
I've had wings in the air, and hooves on the ground
That Scientist turned my whole world around

One day, when all of the zapping's complete
To be a Blue Vandagyre again would be neat
For that's what I am, I'll return to my core
When I am The Scientist's Project no more

To The Land Of Bounce
by cinnabonski

Come on down
To the land of bounce
For an opportunity
Which you must pounce

Off the coast
This island found
See the hoppers
That do abound

All in smiles
All a glee
Home of fun
Where could it be

It's Roo Island
Oh place so fair
Though it's small
None do compare

From shop and game
And contests many
Oh the activities
You'll find aplenty

Roll the dice
Or submit your word
This be the place
Your voice is heard

Learn to draw
And submit your art
Or grab some coffee
Where to start

So much to view
So much to see
And who's responsible
Who could it be

For such a place
So much to do
Well if course my friend
It's King Roo.

Of parlour blue
And Cape of red
Golden crown
Upon his head

Welcome all
To my space
Please enjoy
This wondrous place

For its most true
What I do say
With every sunrise
A new holiday

Sir Wockilan the...Brave?
by flufflepuff

Sir Wockilan proved to be brave.
For his and the king's land he'd save!
But who was the threat?
No traces, and yet
Sir Wockilan found out the knave:

“Behold, a Snowbunny's to blame!”
He held up the Petpet in shame.
It bested his mind,
But no more would it find
A cause to extinguish his fame!

Although the Snowbunnies look sweet,
He knew that they worked through deceit.
Such crafty Petpets
May conspire yet
So it's them that he must soon defeat!

And so he shall sacrifice rest,
Fulfilling his role as the best.
The knight, although strange,
Gives his all to estrange
Intruders who dare to contest!

But is he mad? He's not the first,
Nor at his job, he's not the worst.
I say leave him be,
In fact, you should flee:
There is a chance he's, in fact, cursed!

Beauty Contest Avatar
by indulgences

The Beauty Contest avatar
Is much beloved, adored.
It's lovely, and all players want
This special art award!

A dazzling Eyrie poses in
A suit of lavender.
A medal hung around his neck
Is fine, you must concur!

One hand coquettishly points up.
The other's on his hip.
His hair is golden, soft and fine,
And straightened with a flip.

I thank you, TNT, for this
Most stunning avatar!
Our pets deserve to win it so.
They're beauties, and they're stars!

Mysterious Meepits
by cosmoplant

Searching through the Haunted Woods
For a glimpse of your darling gaze.
It has been years and yet no sight of you,
But I will be resilient.
One day, we will be united.
Beautiful pink Petpet.

A Meridellian Feast
by myncithemonkey

On this day every year,
Meridellians gather around,
From both far and near,
To celebrate the crown.

King Skarl throws a banquet,
Food from across the land,
Straight from the royal kitchen,
The occasion is grand.

From vegetables and fruits,
To meat stew and cheese,
The feast is a delight,
All patrons it will please.

Illusen helps with drinks,
Sinsi brings the silverware,
Meridell celebrations for all,
With plenty of cheer to spare.

Evil in the Pages
by midnightsmores

Gallery of Evil
A book of nightmares or fun
Creatures, spirits, beasts galore
Pages filled with the evil they have done

Monsters, creatures, species unknown
This books is full of all types of trouble
Witches, thieves, and evil geniuses alike
If you see one, run on the double!

First Dr. Frank Sloth
An evil scientist from space
He was defeated by the Space Faerie
Who put him in his place

Then the Ghost Lupe
Who was once a brave knight
I think it's safe to say
This spirit lost a fight

Pant Devil is a purple monster
Watch your earthy possessions
He likes to come by and steal things
I guess you could say it's their profession

Shadow Usul creeps around
And her motives are unknown
Keep your wits about you in preparation
For a sighting will chill you to the bone

Meuka made from mucus
Eating everything in the Haunted Woods
His sharp fangs and bite through everything
So be sure to hide your goods!

Balthazar is a bounty hunter
Capturing young faeries in bottles
While wandering through his woods
It's probably best not to dottle

Count Von Roo lives in the dark
Solitary is how he lives
He offers a game like Dice-A-Roo
And sometimes an avatar he gives

Captain Scarblade, ruler of the five seas
Captain of the wicked ship Revenge
He plans to steal all the riches in Neopia
A menace on the water with a greed to quench

Terrible, malicious deeds will land you in this book
The Gallery of Evil is not for the faint of heart
Tricks and evil plots fill these pages
Characters that were evil from the start

Introduction to a Lupe
by wildthing2382428172

I adventure across the plains,
With bushy tail and whiskers keen,
Hunting instincts come natural,
If I hide I won't be seen,

Don’t get me wrong I’m not barbaric,
No not in the least,
I’ll sing a song or play some cheat,
Or invite you over for a family feast,

Loyalty is in the name,
A moral that I stand by,
If you need my help just say the word,
I’ll offer my hand in the blink of an eye,

I guess what I’m trying to say is,
Despite our Lupine looks,
We never want to appear as ‘scary’
Save that for the adventure books!

So on your travels far and wide,
If you should see a Lupe,
Perhaps say ‘hi’ or offer a smile,
We’re a very friendly group!

The Money Tree
by thiona

There is a tree upon a hill
Ancient, tall and kind
Beneath it lay a pile of gifts
From people far and wide
Sadly some, they toss their junk
Littering its magic trunk
It whispers, with tears in its eyes
"Please don't treat me like a dump"

There is a place made just for that
Over in Meridell
Watched by Charlie the Kacheek
Who doesn't mind the smell
The Money Tree does try its best
To fairly share the treasures left
"Don't donate rubbish, please discard"
Begs a kind old tree distressed
