The Annual Chocolate Ball,
A huge festival - I recall.

There is a chocolate fountain,
And a large mousse mountain, 
There are chocolate truffles,
Creating a huge line that shuffles.

How can we forget the tacos shell?
Made of white chocolate pastel.
The inside containing soft whip,
With caramel on the side as a dip!

My favourite is the chocolate candy apple,
It honestly should have its own chapel!
Celebrate the Chocolate Ball today,
And enjoy all the treats on display!

The Event of the Season

Oh Chocolate, what a glorious thing to celebrate!
There is an exclusive Ball each year,
on the 15th in the Month of Gathering.
Consider yourself lucky if you are able to obtain an invite.

Rumoured to be held within the Chocolate Factory,
this is the ultimate high society event.
Dress to the nines, or don't bother showing up at all,
and be prepared to try a wide variety of chocolates.

The ballroom walls are lined with chocolate carvings of each guest,
each carving matching the guest down to the smallest detail. 
If you're lucky your statue may even match your Chocolate Ball attire.
But the thrill of this event doesn't stop there.

As you leave, you are given chocolate carved in your name,
a delicious sample of the chocolate factory's newest treat.
It's so beautiful you almost don't want to eat it, but you do
because that is the only way to cap off the Event of the Season.

A Chia’s Chocolate Decision

A Chia’s stomach was making noise.
He was sitting there with great poise.

“What should I choose to gobble up?
Could I put it in a cup?”

He was very excited about this day.
It was making him yell a loud HOORAY!

The Annual Chocolate Ball was about to start!
“How about a Chocolate Tart?!”

Tarts were yummy or so he heard.
“Should I try Chocolate Custard?”  

Neither was fulfilling his hungry wish.
He was even thinking about Chocolate Fish.

“I just don’t know,” he sat there and thought.
This was making him quite distraught.

He noticed a scarf made of silk,
“I got it! I’ll just get some Chocolate Milk!”

He took a glass and ran to the fridge.
He was only going to take a little smidge.

Then he thought of the Chocolate Ball.
“I don’t care, I want it all!”

The Chia drank every last bit.
“It was the right decision,” he finally admit.

The Event of the Season

The anticipation can be felt in the air
For Neopia’s finest affair.
If you were lucky enough to be invited,
Then you will most certainly be excited.

Each year there is much speculation,
Of chocolate masterpieces beyond your wildest imagination.
Dreamt up by the mysterious master Kiko, 
From The Chocolate Factory for those who did not know.

Chocoons and creamy Chocowhips lining every table,
With rumours that this year's masterpiece is one with maple.
An ornate chocolate tree sprouts majestically in the centre,
Autumnal leaves infused with maple, dazzling in their splendour.

Chuffer Bob in the corner, eying how to sneak a taste,
While King Skarrl devours everything in sight with great haste.
Taelia dazzling in her one-of-a-kind ballgown,
And Boochi dressed for the occasion in a bow of smooth milk chocolate brown.

Everyone leaves at the end of the night on a sugar high,
Unlikely to fall asleep until at least a week has gone by.
Thus marks the end of the Annual Chocolate Ball,
Neopians already awaiting for next year's fall.

The Chocolate Factory

Three Fruity Chias: An Annual Chocolate Ball Tale

Three fruity Chias were walking one day, 
When a late summer breeze blew their way. 

Neopia Central was all hustle and bustle, 
No one realised there was a missing truffle. 

The Chocolate Factory is quite elusive, 
Old man Kiko is quite the reclusive. 

Inventory taken, but off by one, 
The chocolate truffles for the day were done. 

The truffle in question, hanging by a tree,
Right above, the Chias three.

That one missing truffle, made with care, 
In the hot, hot sun it melted bare.

Through the trees it dripped and dropped like rain, 
Until three fruity Chias became anything but plain!

The chocolate melted in the hot steamy sun, 
The group of three halted, then started to run. 

Enveloping pineapple, orange and strawberry, 
The sugary cocoa was smelled by a faerie.

The Soup Faerie gasped and proceeded to chuckle, 
Seeing the chocolate fruit run like a Cheeseroller truckle.

One, two three… chocolate covered fruity Chias, 
Giving TNT future clothing ideas.

2 Tickets, 1 Ball, Endless Memories

Of all of the nights, this one's my favourite.
Dressed to the nines, don't know what I'm saying.
So say that you'll join me--please no second-guessing.
It's just 2 tickets, 1 ball, endless memories.

Dark chocolates, truffles, rainbow cotton candy,
Black liquorice, gumdrops, star lollipops
Dancing with you, isn't this just amazing?
Laughing with you, it feels like time stops.

All of these sweets, but they don't compare to you.
All of these guests, but for me it's just you.
All of this noise, but it feels like my heartbeat is the loudest thing in the room.

Gumballs, rock candies, saltwater taffy
Gobstoppers, caramel, petpet lollipops
The time spent with you, is it just me that feels crazy?
This blush on my cheeks, I hope I'm not caught.

I wish I could say it, but I'll just keep this secret.
Cause if I open my mouth, I know I'll just butcher...
So all I'll can say is: "Sweetness comes from more than just sugar."

Come from near and far to sample everything that is too sweet
The Annual Chocolate Ball promises untold decadence and grandeur
Accompanied by a rousing, raucous level of glitz and fanfare, one can be sure

Hosted by the mysterious Kiko who's made chocolate his passion
He greets each guest as they arrive, decked in that year's fashion
The excited guests whisper and point, thrilled beyond compare
As they wonder what they'll sample this year: nougat? Fudge? Eclairs?

The festivities continue playfully into the wee hours
The Kiko shopkeeper keeping careful eye over all the treats devoured
Partygoers laugh and dance and eat and drink until the night is done
Full up on good chocolate and good times, along with a good morning for the rising sun

Before the guests depart for good, the Kiko gives everyone a dear farewell
And hands each Neopet their own name carved out of chocolate and drizzled in caramel
Another Ball has ended, and with it memories are created anew
Only 364 days until the next one! I can barely wait! Can you?
