The Wocky—Snow Day avatar
Is pretty and divine.
I'm willing to go quite far
To make this treasure mine.

The Wocky is attractive;
She has beauty by her side.
The snow is so refractive,
Shining light into my eyes.

The leaf is such an awesome touch;
Its fall is whimsical.
Its movement pleases me so much;
Its dance is musical.

I hope to find a Snow pet
So I can obtain this prize.
It will please my soul, I'll bet— 
It overjoys my eyes.

The Kiosk Wocky

A wocky is fluffy and a wocky has sass.
“Would you like a scratch card?” this one asks
As he stares at me from behind his stand
Holding out his cute, mittened hand.

“It’s 600 NP,” he says to me,
His breath in the air, I can clearly see.
I fish in my pocket and pull them out.
“It’s lucky dip – if you don’t like it, don’t pout!”

He hands me a scratch card with a wide, toothy grin.
“Match any three images and you could win!
I’ve got prizes galore that have nothing to do,
Perhaps a few could find their way home with you?”

After such deliberation and with much anticipation
I scratched my scratch card and with no hesitation
Revealing images in the right array I hear the wocky begin to say
“Wahey! You’ve won, aren’t you glad that you played?”

He hands me my prize with a wide, toothy grin,
“Perhaps tomorrow I’ll see you again?
Perhaps tomorrow you win a whole lot….
Did I tell you…you could hit the jackpot?”

A Wocky's Dance

Lustrous coat of chocolate gold,
Of silky, caramel mane.
Hazel eyes that twinkle in sun,
And shine in drops of rain.

A prancing form in meadows green,
Of daisies purest white.
The Wocky dances in the grass,
Amidst the morning's light.
A ballet she does alone,
So nimble at her feet.
Twirling past flowers that bloom,
And o'er the beds of seed.

The music's strong within her form,
As is the song of the wind.
Her chocolate form in the dancing grass,
Tells stories of all she's seen.
The Wocky dances in light of day,
As does in the moonlight's glow.
Guided by voices of the wind
And songs of green meadows.

Celebrating the Wocky

It is winter, and on this mountain here 
celebrate all kinds the pure white snow 
and the starlight above is clear; 
the time to be happy is now 
but one of them more joyous than the rest 
for today is also his kind's fest. 
 
Their day is now, as all here know 
and of them sing today's songs 
a thick coat of fur shows 
the place where it belongs 
and with snow-treading paws guaranteed 
that this mountain is its home indeed. 
 
And on this very day, in years long gone 
the rest of the world – or perhaps they first 
met each other at the break of dawn 
when from the snow, the Wockies burst 
and greeted the adventures up ahead 
when finally, their kind began to spread. 
 
It'd be hard to find a place 
where they have not set their paws 
for with courage, everything they face 
and seek thrills, if only because 
it gives them a story to tell 
about all the wonderful places they dwell. 
 
But hardened, no! they remained soft 
because a Wocky's nature makes it a friend 
both Darigan's creatures and faeries aloft 
a helping hand they'll always lend 
and should they find one lost in the snow 
they'll be warmed up before they know. 
 
And this is why they celebrate 
and all sing their praises to 
a kind bearing friendship, not hate 
and spread their message through 
the deep sea and the skies above; 
that is why they get this love.

Wallace the Wocky

This is a tale
of a Wocky in Meridell
and one day he came upon
a tree, from which junk fell.

Now Wallace, this Wocky
jumped back with a start
but soon was excited
for he was a packrat by heart.

All of this free stuff
just coming from the sky
dropping from the branches
though he didn't know why.

But that didn't matter
there was junk to gather!
Books, sea shells and dolls
all fell with a clatter.

More junk was collected
and Wallace soon found
that a tower of litter was made
teetering off the ground.

His greed for junk had trapped him
in a difficult situation
as his junk supplies was quickly
reaching over saturation.

Back and forth he was forced
to step and hobble
as Wallace found himself
in a Wicked Wocky Wobble.

An Ode to The Wocky!

the brave and fearless wocky will explore it all whole hearted!

No land too strange or terrain too rough,
no blizzard too harsh or heat too much,
the plucky little wocky will go on without a fuss!
With a strong and unrivaled tenacity.

Wishing for a Rainbow Wocky

I don’t deny I can’t select,
A favourite type of pet.
Draiks I have, and Chia, too,
I have a Krawk, but yet…!
I long to gather brilliant brush,
And take a rainbow dip.
To own a Wocky, multi-toned,
From nose to tail’s tip.

Such wonder would my Wocky bring,
To all who wandered by.
With ears as golden as the sun,
And face as blue as sky.
With silken fur that like the light,
Did shine when wind doth blow.

Of Wocky-kind and brilliant deeds,
Of things he’d dream to do.

I urge you, one and all.

I beg you, heed the call!

For now it seems, when choosing pets,
A Wocky, I decide!

I wonder what will take place this year,
I will check the news until I hear.

that would surely be a hit!

The Wocky Parade

In a dreary bleak snowstorm
Surrounded by humming night,
A little head disturbs the snow
And bounding paws set the drifts aflight!

 With white-matted fur
And gentle eyes gleaming,
The Haunted Woods' silence is broken,
The parade disturbs the spook's dreaming.

The Wocky parade! The stampede of color!
Of stripes and spots, of greens and reds,
Joyous celebration and twinkling lights
Call the sleepy-eyed Babies from their beds.

 Windows flood with candleglow,
Faces peer out of doorways and leaves,
Young and old emerge to follow
They kick up powder, an excitable sieve.

 Through the Fairground and Camp
A thousand voices sing and bray,
Twelve chimes sound and the crowd cheers,
At last! It's Wocky Day!

The Robot Wocky

This Robot makes me double take.
It's shiny, silver, sleek.
It's covered with red light bulbs, and
It's certainly not meek.

The Wocky's such a sweet, mild pet.
Its grin is small and coy.
Its paws are soft and tiny things.
Its face fills me with joy.

And yet, the Robot Wocky is
Quite different from the norm.
I love its mechanistic brawn.
I love its stalwart form.

Its eyes are flashing orbs of red.
They seem so fierce and hot.
Perhaps this Wocky's powered by
A thousand sizzling watts.

I quite adore this Robot pet.
It's so unique and rare.
The Robot Wocky is the best!
No others can compare!
