It looks like a Juppie, but split in two.
Orange dots with blue squares
And purple stripes in equal pairs.

How bad this fruit must taste
With its green flat side and mystery paste.
Don't forget that pink one, tiny and round
But it weighs more than ten pounds.

Gadgad, you say, you reply?
The Neopian fruit of pure delight?
Never have I heard of such things,
What more nonsense do you bring?

Oh, how sad, it seems I was wrong.
The calendar sings quite a different song.
All right, fine, Gadgadsbogen Day it is.

Ballad Of The Battle Faerie

Into battle she does fly,
Her sharp twin swords at hand,
Looking her enemies in the eye,
Valiantly protecting the land.

In one hand lies a sword of fire,
Blazing with a flickering light,
Even in the situations most dire,
It dives into the midst of a fight.

In the other hand a sword of ice,
Sparkling with a frosty sheen,
If you think it's weak, think twice,
It's cool and calm and mean.

Behind her flies her violet hair,
As she soars into the midst of the fray,
Giving her enemies quite the scare,
She soon is on her way.

If you see her in the Battledome,
Be sure to treat her with respect,
She fights for the good of Neopia,
And keeps all evil in check.

Have I Got News For Roo!

King Roo, please tell us, what’s the news?
Got any hints or helpful clues?
Don’t make us wait too long to say,
I really need to know today.

Perhaps your map will be updated,
Goodness knows how long we’ve waited,
For new attractions on your shore,
To make us want to go there more.

Less sleeping time for Count Von Roo,
So you could have a try or two,
To grow the level on your 'pet,
And for the avatar to get.

Maybe you’ll add a shop or two?
To increase island revenue.
A Petpet shop and also books,
Don’t keep us all on tenterhooks.

More rides to make our 'pets less sad,
A playground area would not be bad.
With swings and seesaw you could play,
To leave your 'pets there for the day.

A Battledome would be alright,
For those with 'pets that like to fight.
Somewhere cheap to do your training,
And stop our bank accounts from draining.

A castle, like in Meridell,
As you deserve a place to dwell,
Then we could visit you for quests,
And get rewards for passing tests.

Could be new games for us to play,
And earn some 'points three times a day.
Of course they’d have to feature Roos,
With games like that, you cannot lose.

My guess is a brand new Dice-A-Roo,
An update is long overdue.
Change the die, colour, and sizes,
Bigger jackpots, better prizes. 

Excited, now we sit here waiting,
What it will be we are debating.
But nobody knows, we wait on you,
To say "Have I got news for Roo!"

Knitting With Food

I wanted to enter the Random Contest,
So I went to the contest page.
I saw the title was "Knitting with Food,"
And I threw my keyboard in rage.
"How can you knit with food?"
I asked my guild.
Well, maybe we should discuss and build.
And soon the guild chat was filled.
"We can use Spaghetti," came one reply,
"How should we cook it?"
Oh my.
"How about herbs?" replied another.
"What? Do I look like my mother?"
Another guildie said, "What about dough?"
I replied, "This isn't a variety show!"
"I KNOW!" I said,
"Bacon... on a head! 
I have a wonderful idea!
I can bake a hat out of bacon!"
Maybe I am mistaken...
Who would wear a hat out a bacon?
Well, I guess it is back 
To the drawing board,
Knitting with food sure is hard.

And use some clever tricks.

And then you can either play again,
Or be happy with what you've got.
