Chocolate Chia Day Special
Chia Friend Salad
by hiasaki
If you gather ‘round, I’ll tell you a simple fact,
oh a simple fact indeed!
There’s nothing quite like a Chia fruit friend
who’s there when you’re in need.
All the arrays of shapes and colours,
the choices are all quite numerous.
Perhaps you’d like a good Blueberry friend
to find all your jokes so humorous.
Maybe you’re looking for something unique?
A Plum Chia might suit you well.
Or perhaps you prefer a Peachy companion
to get you out of your shell?
Lemon and Lime Chias go nicely in pairs;
they love to play little jokes.
Classic Pineapple’s the most reliable friend,
while Grape Chias are the kindliest folks.
Any Chia fruit you come to befriend,
you really can’t go wrong.
They’re all so good at being loyal and true,
your new friendship will forever stay strong.

The Chia Glows Alone
by miraday
It’d never been a contest of popularity—
Though the fruit Chias, of course, shone.
Yet, somewhere out there in Neopia
Is a sole Glowing Chia, glowing alone.
Dreams are often dominated by the likes
Of Peas, Chokatos and Plushies.
Some fail to realize that being a Chia
Is enough to live life happily.
His green hue is like a lava lamp,
Its inside perfectly shaped like a Chia.
He radiates like a quasar, pulsing,
Emanating light like an idea.
Other Neopets have fun in the day
But the Glowing Chia savours the night.
He guides the misguided through darkness,
Serving as their wandering light.
It’s thankless to glow during the day—
They think he’s just green, after all—
But they’re thankful when it turns dark
And his glow turns into a save-all.
When it’s time to celebrate Chias—
Celebrate the famous, the champions,
But don’t forget the Glowing Chia
Who glows alone in his halcyon.

Chia Oscuro
by parody_ham
Within the cold and frozen land
Of Terror Mountain there’s a clan
That’s made of only Chias blue,
Green, and red with kind hearts true.
Alas, what’s this! ‘Twas a surprise
To find a language randomized!
Of sounds that no ear could translate
Mystery sentences will await.
For the words to make some sense
Our hero team went on offence
To stop the Leximp and his plot
And aid the villagers distraught.
Our swordsman struck with flashing blade—
A Hero’s will refused to fade!
Magical blasts from mage explode
‘Til Leximp gave the stone he owed.
Wordstone won, the Chias cheer
Never to worry or to fear
Because the heroes two appeared
With grateful service volunteered.

The (Chocolate) Chia Clown
by jitskeskywalker
The eighteenth of the second month,
marks Chocolate Chia Day.
All Chias come to join the fun;
from Rainbow, Split to Gray.
There's parties and there's food for all,
and if you'd like some fun —
then you can see the Chia Clown,
his show has just begun!
He's brought balloons, and a wig too,
but soon, Pets seem to leave.
He tries and tries, but all in vain,
he shouts: "I've one more trick up my sleeve!"
"For Chocolate Chia day, I will
turn into chocolate, too.
Behold, as I jump in this crate—
come, look what I will do!"
A giant crate that's on the stage
is filled with hot chocolate — to the brim.
He jumps in, laughs and honks as well,
and goes for a good swim.
He splishes, splashes, as he shouts:
"TADA, I'm a bonbon! You see?'
I'm brown like cake and chocolate treats,
Next up: whipped cream and a cherry!
It's Chocolate Chia day, of course!
HAHA! Isn't this fun?"
But no Pet in the audience
seemed to appreciate his pun...
At least the little prankster had
a good laugh on this day.
Who knows what jokes and tricks he will
perform on next year's play!

The Chase of a Chia by a Lupe
by crazyboutcute
There was a Yellow Chia and a fearsome Yellow Lupe.
The Lupe pursued the Chia—would he make some Chia soup?
The Chia cottoned on, and he would not be made a meal.
So he packed up all his things with that Lupe hot on his heels.
The Chia ran to Kiko Lake but learned that Lupes can swim.
He dove down to the lakebed, but his prospects there were grim.
He set off next for Brightvale, but the guards cut off his path.
They said he couldn’t stay there if he couldn’t do hard math!
He ran through fallen Faerieland and hid out in a glade,
but the Lupe still sniffed him out—he’d be Lupe food if he stayed!
He stumbled through the Haunted Woods, but ghosts gave him a fright!
He tried to sleep and rest a time but couldn’t stay the night.
The Lost Desert was hot and dry with scorching sand for miles.
The Chia trekked through waves of it and hid behind sand piles.
But the Lupe still followed him—he was not to be deterred.
He chased that Chia to Sahkmet—it really was absurd!
The Chia stowed away upon a sturdy pirate ship,
but that sly Lupe charmed his way on with just a witty quip.
They ended up on Krawk Island, the Chia couldn’t stay.
He hopped aboard a merchant ship, and it took him away.
He dragged his feet back to Central—he was all tired out.
Of course, that Lupe had followed him and so he turned to shout,
“Just eat me, then, you wretched Lupe! I can’t run anymore!
Make me into a Chia soup or even Chia s’mores!”
“What do you mean?” queried the Lupe with softness in his eyes.
“I chased you all over the world to give you a surprise!”
He opened up his backpack and took out a nice bouquet.
“I just wanted to wish you a most happy Chia Day!”

Neopian Fresh Foods Chia
by fourin
A pan in hand, a jovial smile,
Ready to cook up a treat,
This sweet Chia lets you stay a while,
His yummy foods can't be beat!
For Neopets from far and wide,
Come just to try his cuisine,
From the humblest Negg to chef surprise,
It's the most food you've ever seen!
Cupcakes, burgers, and fanciful feasts,
Nothing is out of his repertoire,
From rarest of foods for gourmet elites,
To comfort snacks, and the downright bizarre!
If you're lucky there just might be,
A freshly baked pie from the oven,
There's a sandwich, spaghetti, and if you're keen,
Some Neocola to wash it down!
But hurry now, as soon as it's done,
For every wise Neopian knows,
That the best food is quickly gone,
And lost in the rabble of haggling throes!
So, thank you to our Chia friend,
Who cooks for Neopian Fresh Foods,
His tasty food we can all depend,
To have our cake, and eat it too!

The Maraquan Chia: Colourful and Cheerful
by _brainchild_
If you have ever wished to raise
A sea anemone,
The Mara Chia brings much praise---
It looks so cool to me.
From hues so bright to patterns that
Enthral the onlooker,
The Chia is excelling at
Appearance, that's for sure!
The shades of purple oh so rich
And coral red delight,
Along with sunny yellow, which
Is pleasant to the sight.
The stripes and polka dots enthral---
The look is so divine!
The cheerful smile, the best of all,
Enchants o'er ocean brine.
So, if a sweet, aquatic friend
Is what you seek, don't wait.
The Mara Chia, to no end,
Will please you. Very great
Is how you'll find its brightly hued
Design. Demeanour, too
Is joyful. Such a happy mood
Shall charm, awaiting you.

Taste the Rainbow of Chia Day
by i_lovee_icecream
Chias come in all colours and shapes.
Ranging all the way from Chocolate to Grape.
The weird thing about some of these shades,
Is that they're the tastiest shades ever made.
Would you ever eat a Chia? You might consider it.
All the veggies sound yummier than I'd like to admit.
Asparagus, Carrot, Avocado, or Aubergine,
I'd be a mean green eating machine.
Lest we forget the fruits of all our labours,
I'd eat a Blueberry Chia even if he were my neighbour.
Apple, Durian, Chokato, or Gooseberry;
I'd feed them straight to the Library Faerie.
Crazily enough, it doesn't end there,
There are still dessert Chias everywhere!
Custard, Biscuit, Chocolate, and Jelly;
I want them in a line-up straight to my belly.
Now, now, now; let's not forget citrus.
Lemon and Lime Chias are now here with us.
Squeeze them on your plate or over your drinks,
Take a bite! Take a sip! What do you think?
There are still plenty more to mention,
Come on now, my Chia friends. Why all the tension?
Onion, Orange, Pepper, Plum, and Peach;
I'd like to take a juicy bite of each.
Last one I promise, but it's a long list,
After I'm done, tell me any that I've missed.
Ummagine, Tomato, Pineapple, Thornberry;
Pea, Pear, Agueena, and lastly, Strawberry.
How was your taste of Chia Day?
All these flavours of the rainbow make me wanna shout, "YAY!"

Fruit Chia Salad
by maroo1324
Sour as an Apple
Acid like a Blueberry
Smelly as Durian
Sweet of a Strawberry
Bitter as a lemon
Or maybe a lime
Juicy like a Peach
And tart like Plum
Ripe like a gooseberry
Tiny as a grape
Spikey as a Thornberry
Tangy as a pear
Tropical like Pineapple
Sour like an orange
Cool as an Agueena
Refreshing as tomato
Everyone is invited
To this fruit salad party
It doesn’t matter your colour
Shape size or taste
We are all going to enjoy
Another chia day

Concealed Carrot Chia
by flufflepuff
The Seekers at the Obelisk,
nor any of his friends,
can find the lad in Kacheek Seek
and cause the game to end!
No matter where his friends' eyes
shall rove upon the land,
the hiding spot that he has picked
is hidden well, not grand.
You see, the Carrot Chia hides,
though not at all undead,
within the earth, revealing nought
but tufts upon his head!
All untrained eyes shall pass him by.
An ordinary plant
is all they see among the trees:
their victory is scant.
The game is over, he has won,
of that there is no doubt.
And yet one question still remains:
How is he to get out?
