Let's put our hands up and celebrate: it's Gadgadsbogen! 
The annual festival will be this Tuesday, that's when! 
There will be dozens of fun and cheap activities that include 
Parades, carnival games, music, volleyball, and exotic food. 
Make sure you remember to come; we will see you then. 

The festival will start at eight in the morning. 
Come early if you want the rare fruits; that's your warning. 
This year, there was a small harvest of strange pinannas. 
The limited supply will make collectors go bananas. 
Owning a complete set of fruits is so rewarding. 

The highlight of the day will definitely be the parade. 
The guest appearances this year will be the best from this decade.
The organizers managed to convince Jhuidah the Island Faerie 
To walk next to her cooking pot, full of doughnutfruits and berries, 
And the tombola man to dance, while wearing trinkets that he made.

The Gadgadsbogen Festival

Everyone loves the Gadgadsbogen festival.
The activities and decorations are incredible.
This is a time to celebrate.
Any other problems can wait.

It always happens in the month of running.
That's when the new fruits start coming.
They all have such pretty colours. 
Once you buy one, you will want all the others.

Street performers will put on many shows.
It will be crowded, so stand on your toes.
The carnival food will smell so good,
And that will put everyone in a pleasant mood.

People will be out from day to night.
It will be quite a sight.
I can't wait for this party to start,
And that is coming straight from my heart.

The Bountiful Gadgadsbogen

The new fruits fill the forest with excitement:
Flavours never before tasted become in season.
All of Mystery Island joins the celebration—
The festival of Gadgadsbogen is the reason!

Shops are closed and training is suspended:
The fair supersedes the Month of Running’s start.
Hasees continuing their bouncing, upended
Only when new doughnutfruits are imparted.

The Myncis abandon their volleyball games
To climb newly sprouted trees for harvest.
Island tour guides utilize their memory lanes
To discover hidden orchards unbeknownst.

What a tradition— the gathering of fruits, 
A shared surplus, the organizing of festivity.
While the bounty is appetizing and new,
Gadgadsbogen is all about its community.

Chokatos, Flotatos, Munuberries and Islandberries:
A diversity of treats await the communal pickers.
The feast's leftovers will be too much to carry,
And none gone hungry due to the Island's vigour.

New Fruits (on Gadgadsbogen)

Well, here we are again, 
crouched by the bare earth,
a year of sleep under the glow
of Crescent Moonfruits that hang
above our heads, another year
of the blistering pinch of beachfuls
of buried Bargella Roots, 365 more sticky
red globs of Bludberry juice running
down furry chins, countless surprise slaps 
from rogue Boingari buds bouncing back,
four seasons of Golden Juppies shining
like treasure from branches, of being prickled
by Blunella beards, by Blurfs. We snuggled through
winter with the cottony fluff of Cloudberry pillows, 
tongues sizzled with the spice of Hot Skrazzle 
summers, always surrounded by flowering fruits 
like fireworks, the Elppas’ stars 
building to a red crescendo 
bright and loud against their brilliant green skins, 
and all around us, the thud of Banangos
against the forest floor, the acidic crunch
of Chokatos, and on miracle days,
flaming Bomberries set themselves ablaze 
as if beacons calling us home, back 
to their burial grounds, our roots, 
this Gadgadsbogen garden where 
the annual emergence of new fruits 
is a gesture of the continuing mystery 
of our lives.

Honouring the Two New Fruit Chias On Gadgadsbogen

The Juppie Swirl and Coconut
Chias won't go in the gut.
They're Neopets so sentient---
To eat them wouldn't be well-meant!

This Gadgadsbogen, celebrate
These friends appearing as of late.
Among the many fruits, two more
Are cute, and perfect to adore.

If you're in search of fruity hues
So very certain to amuse,
The Snow Food shop will have your back.
It's quite a hike, so bring a snack!

When honouring fruits of the isle,
Two bound to please you for a while
Are Juppie Swirl and Coconut.
These pals bring joy, no matter what.

Arnapple, oh so very dapple,
Drillaroot, better than carrots to boot,
Gooseberries, as tart as the dark faeries,
Aggleroot, salted best is no dispute, 
Doughnut fruit, Hassee everywhere in pursuit,
Banan, most unsure of how began,
Owabit, get hit with this you’ll throw a fit,
Golden Juppie, refreshes soul more than a puppy,
Ergyfruit, choice food of Altador cup recruit,
Nurako, favourite food of phantom Jacko.

The Tick Tack Man is on his way

To Race the Sun

To race the sun
to chase the wind
to find the bottom of the sea
to walk the line of foolishness
and possibility

to fly without wings
to climb without claws
to shatter the ceiling 
and give without cause
may yield recurring results without pause.

Such was the case
for a Mynci named Llugh - 
a race with the sun,
a skirmish with wind
a gift as generous as could be.
Such had effects that precious few
could ever, equally!

Did he ever know 
the effect of his deeds?
Did he ever witness
the fruit of his seeds?
Was victory won
against the sun?

Such matters not.

For every year,
old fruits dry up and disappear.
And in their place
spring forth anew
yet unseen fruits with different hue.

So chase the wind
and race the sun:

you may find out if you have won.
