Xweetok Day Special

Tyrannian Xweetok's Grace
by flufflepuff

In shades of varied brown and grey,
As well as varied size,
Buttes, crags, and cliffs, plateaus abound,
And greet so many eyes.

‘Tis movement that the eye doth catch
Before all hues and shapes.
Across the palette of sheer rock,
A figure shan’t escape

The wand’ring look of all who pass.
And why should it, I ask?
This fellow’s well within his right,
In noonday sun, to bask.

Regard the Xweetok of this land,
As he doth groom and preen.
The volume of his chestnut mane
And, too, its glossy sheen

Take such great efforts to maintain.
Though rough at one’s first glance,
That prehistoric, rugged form
Does not occur by chance!

Behold his honed and sharpened fangs,
Each coupled with its twin,
His eyes as midnight blue as seas
That hide what lurks within.

Those eyes have locked with yours, I think.
It’s not polite to stare!
Such scrutiny! Make haste, at once
And turn your gaze elsewhere!

Tik Tok Goes The Xweetok
by fariedom

On a sunny laced day I played on my phone
On a sunny laced day I was sitting at home

When Tiktok said my Xweetok

Tiktok? I asked my Xweetok

With a stomp of his paw, he snatched my phone in a claw.

Not sure what to do, I let him explore when-

Tiktok snarled my Xweetok

Dancing and singing rang in my ears as my furry companion laughed until tears.

I watched as he swiped each song with the tips of his nail, laughing myself as I watched him fail.

Tiktok I agreed with him as I took my phone back. Allowing my nimble finger to make up for his lack.

On a sunny laced day, in the beginning of May,
My Xweetok took my phone away

I Love You, Sela Pretore!
by spikegalactic2000

When I was a young Xweetok
I wanted to be Sela Pretore
I thought I was such a jock
(Though I never seemed to score…)

I’d pretend to be Pretore
And make my little brother be Weldar
But he didn’t want to play anymore
It made him as angry as a hungry Kougra

He wanted to be Selmon
His favourite team the Natives, still
But in our house Virtupets won
They had my heart and always will

Now it’s Xweetok Day
My favourite day of year
So I guess now I just have to say
I’m sorry brother: but it’s Team Robots here!

A Long-Expected Party
by skatabo

The trees are alive with the sound of the Xwees,
The hustle and bustle of huge families.
Let there be no tears, no sounds of dismay,
For today is a gift for us all; Xweetok Day!

All year we've been dashing and dipping around,
To harvest all nature's bounties that abound.
For this celebration, the biggest this year,
We're going all-out to bring fun and great cheer!

The whole family's invited to our celebration,
They come from all regions all over the nation.
It's time to tell stories, catch up with great zeal!
(all with the backdrop of an excellent meal!)

Our larders are full of the best Xweetok fare,
From berries and nuts to pies baked with flare.
And for those here among us with a bigger sweet tooth,
A jellybean pizza will send you over the roof!

With food and great company, any day's bliss!
Was there ever a day as perfect as this?
Even after our hollow is bathed in moonlight,
We'll laugh and we'll party long into the night.

And then the next day, when the sun, it does rise,
We'll give our best hugs and we'll say our goodbyes.
And though this year's Xweetok Day has come to a close,
We'll cherish our time spent with those we love most.

The Xweetok Smith
by fourin

A Xweetok hushed under dim light,
Of a forge weak from slumber,
As bellows bring the fire to life,
It stirs with fiery ember.

The Xweetok Smith, deft in his field,
The likes of which you've never seen,
He can craft your sword and shield,
And everything in between.

Tok, tok, strikes the hammer,
A clang for every beat,
Carefully crafted armour,
Is not an easy feat.

But as he works, he's full of zeal,
From light of day to glow of candle,
Each piece from finest tempered steel,
Fit for a knight in battle.

So if you're in Meridell, and not too busy,
With its quaint medieval scene,
Make sure you visit the smithy,
Where the Xweetok's work can be seen.

The Sick Xweetok
by mintyinvertent432

There once was a xweetok named Nick;
And he was very sick.
Just when he thought his sneezles was on the mend;
He'd get sent to someone else for a meuka lend.

Nick goes from person to person;
As he feels his sickness worsen.
Nick the xweetok feels so sad;
Because with his sickness there's no fun to be had.

A Neopian Named Elevator he once met her;
She was so kind to him, he thought she'd make him feel better.
But to her he was just a sneezles meuka pet;
A neopet that she just met.

It's healing that Nick over and over has been denied.
Sometimes he wishes he had another life or that he died.
There's nothing else that Nick wants high above
Is a neopian to give him love.

Starry, Starry Xweetok
by precious_katuch14

Starry, Starry Xweetok,
Blue with gold stars,
She's got potential,
And she will go far.

Starry, Starry Xweetok,
Starry-eyed and bright.
Ready to take on the world
With her smile's light.

Starry, Starry Xweetok,
Oh, she's got plans!
Can she finish them all?
Yes, she can!

Starry, Starry Xweetok,
Sometimes her fur is ruffled,
But it's part of the journey,
Feeling lost and confuzzled.

Starry, Starry Xweetok,
Nothing fazes her,
Any challenge she faces
Pushes her to do better.

Starry, Starry Xweetok,
She'll never give up.
With her dreams and goals
She fills up her cup.

Starry, Starry Xweetok,
Her star continues to shine.
And she has already inspired
Another star, which is mine.

A Colourless Xweetok and Its Sky
by dessent

There once was a Xweetok of not much colour,
gazing upon the night sky with so much wonder.
They pondered what it would be like to be a star,
twinkling so bright through the night sky from afar.

The nights grew brighter,
the sun rose above all.
Their colour slowly began to shine,
all throughout the evenings fall.

This little Xweetok knew not what was colour,
for the day went on and the sky turned darker.
They stare up, wishing upon the stars,
with their hopes turning into distant memoirs.

Alas, things began to change,
the wind picked up and the sky grew strange.
Before this Xweetok knew, colour stretched across the land,
never before seen sights that were so incredibly grand.

"If this is what the sky is like,
I hope to always stay."
The Xweetok of not much colour,
is finally seeing the last of their colorless days.

Xweetoks - The Neopian Favourite
by preksolanx

Xweetoks are a Neopian favourite.
That’s a fact, let’s not deny it.
But just in case you are ever in doubt,
here are three reasons, let me spell them out.

Their big heads - smiling face with dark round eyes -
pair so adorably with their small size.
Furry, with a long mane that stretches to tail,
you can cuddle with them and they’ll never wail.

Xweetoks are lively and fun to be around,
with one at your side you’ll never have a frown.
So if ever you may want a fuzzy companion,
then befriend a Xweetok, that’s my honest opinion.

With such great qualities, you should always know -
basic Xweetok morphing potions are priced low.
Blue, Red, and Yellow - they’re under 30k.
Thank Fyora, you can keep your Neopoints away!

Cute, friendly, and inexpensive to get,
own one and you will surely not regret.
Just once a year, so it’s a joy to say,
Dear Neopians, have a Happy Xweetok Day!

Xweetok Villains
by lorlurin

In the old floating days once believed to be blessed
Who told me that life is a never-ending test?
Questions asked by wind passing the sky
Each dawning star a sorrowful eye

But no one told me the problems would be this hard
Shamrock and lavender blended into shades of black
Who still won’t accept the unspoken laws?
Who sat alone in the empty alabaster hall?

What do I remember? What did I forget?
What changes have I made? For better or worse
They say “only time would tell”, then let it be
I gave my answers; Now it’s my turn to ask

One can’t escape from where they came
Found myself back here at the time to rest
Once you decided how everything began
Now I will decide what happens next

Don’t describe me with words; Look up at night
Higher than the clouds, then trace the light
The orbiting stars walked the path I paved
In the cyan shadow of a monotonous gold
