Pirates vs Ninjas Collab Special

Sea Shanties vs. Haikus: Who Will Win?
by swordlilly

What shall we do with Puffo the Waister,
What shall we do with Puffo the Waister,
What shall we do with Puffo the Waister,
When he's had too much to drink?

Give 'im a dose of Marrow Tonic Water,
Make 'im hear the Weewoos' laughter,
Shake 'im up until he's sober,
When he's had too much to drink!

Weigh heigh and up he rises,
Weigh heigh and up he rises,
Ready to charge to'ard Shenkuuvian prizes,
Though he's had too much to drink.

A foreign vessel.
Black-flagged and rough, a wrinkle
On the still water.

A drop of moonlight
Falls onto the blade that grinds
Against the dark stone.

A crow flies away.
Swaying in the dimming night:
A tall crooked tree.

Pirate versus Ninja
by riverthistle

"Arrg," said the Pirate Ruki,
brandishing his sword high.
Nothing said the Stealthy Ixi,
and the Ruki walked right on by.

"Come out, ye coward!" cried the Pirate Ruki,
though it came out like a plea.
Nothing said the ninja Ixi,
as she hid stealthily behind a tree.

"I'll not lose at hide-and-seek again!"
Said the Pirate Ruki, very ill at ease.
Nothing said the clever Ixi,
who held very still and dared not even sneeze.

"You never let me win," accused the Ruki,
stamping his four little feet.
Nothing said the hidden Ixi,
though winning suddenly didn't feel as sweet.

The Ruki collapsed upon the ground,
resigned to giving up,
when suddenly from behind him
he felt a nudging bump.

The Ruki leaped to his many feet,
and turned toward her with a gasp.
"Maybe this time we can both win,"
said the Ixi from beneath her mask.

"But how can we do that?" the Pirate Ruki replied.
"By changing up the game!" the little ninja said.
And the Ruki considered this with great interest,
thinking it over before nodding his head.

"What can play instead?" the Ruki pondered,
as the Ixi stealthily backed up without a peep.
"How about tag!" she exclaimed with delight,
and then disappeared with one great leap.

"Arrg!" shouted the Pirate Ruki,
"You always cheat!" he said with a cry.
But he still gave chase with a big smile,
and a twinkle in his eyes.

Samuel No Eyes
by precious_katuch14

There goes Samuel No Eyes,
The pirate with eyepatches two.
He's got many stories to tell,
And somehow they're all true.

Like the time he bet on Gooblah
Without seeing the betting sheet.
And he won quite the sum.
His instincts can't be beat!

Though he can't see anything,
This Acara never trips.
Like the time he evaded
A ninja doing back flips.

"Where's the Golden Dubloon?"
A captain asked him one day.
"Take one left and two rights,
You won't be led astray!"

How does he do it?
No one can see how
Ol' Samuel No Eyes
Finds the stern from the bow.

Samuel No Eyes, watch out!
Lest you suddenly walk the plank!
He turns away, walks away,
Laughing like it's all a prank.

There goes Samuel No Eyes,
To this day nobody knows
How he finds his way
And knows where he goes.

Ultimate Battle Sea Song
by exanomaly

We came upon an isle o’ mist
	and slid along its shores
just a crooked crew o’mean seadogs
	in our wicked Man-O-War.
Captain turned his brass spyglass
	upon a wee mountain village
the lads were hoppin’ mad an’ eager fer
a hearty plunder or a pillage.

We charged up the craggy cliffs
	dreamin’ of pieces of eight
cutlasses held in our grimy teeth
	that never were quite straight.
But if ye’d been on that clifftop
ye might’ve thought that ye ‘ad drowned
the night was as black and menacing
as the hearts o’ the lads we found.

They’ve shadowed hoods of midnight blue
and blades like crescent moons
the mountain lads o’ the Misty Isle
those scurvy ninjas ne’er smiled
and if ye see their teeth, yer doomed

Sink me! The skirmish was upon us
before we’d spat out our blades
for bamboo arrows pierced us through
	in a shivering cascade.
But we were old salt, tried n’ true
and we gained the upper hand
a buccaneer is a dangerous brute
	even when on land.

The Captain raised a burning signal flag
a flame to warm the soul:
the lookout knew to light the chase gun
an’ thar was fire in the hole!
Blimey! it was a close call
we had to turn our tails and scoot,
clamber broadside up the ladders
	and leave without our loot.

For they’ve shadowed hoods of midnight blue
and blades like crescent moons
the mountain lads o’ the Misty Isle
those scurvy ninjas ne’er smiled
so we traded our lives for lost dubloons!

So if ye spot an isle o’ mist
	laying soft on the horizon
there’s dread that lurks ‘neath yeller clouds,
an’ an enemy ye cannat lay yer eyes on.
So swab them decks then take a caulk
an’ slip on by that isle of mist,
fer in yer dreams ye’ll be victorious
an’ give ‘em yer cutlass’ kiss!

(This sea song was composed by Pirate Pete the Poogle in the book “Pirates vs. Ninjas: The Novel.” The truth of these events is unverified.)

Ninja Pirate Heist
by flufflepuff

Friend to thieves and knaves
blankets liquid form that climbs
up the castle wall

Aisha ears are pricked
training coming into play
moonlight falls on him

Running out of time
shadows will begin to fall
pride, with dawn, shall break

Still, he perseveres
nipping into window high
target lies asleep

Gentle, velvet paws
soon relieve the sleeping form
of all precious stones.

Mission successful
Who says ninja skills can't be
used for piracy?

Pirates Eight and Ninjas Six
by parody_ham

My crew and I, we sailed the waves
Of howling wind and piercing gale
So strong and fierce all through the days
Ne’er to retrace a single trail.

We thought ourselves explorers great;
Across we cruised the salty seas.
Our mighty force of sailors eight
Charged forward through the briny breeze!

Were we to meet our match one day?
Hardly a fool would even try.
We hadn’t place for doubts to lay
When flag alone made rivals cry!

Our shock was clear from first, “avast!”
Soaring above the tall crow’s nest
A flying ship of ninjas past,
Eager to put us to the test.

Cannons fire! Their booming blasts
Did echo on impassive wave,
As spritely vessel there outlasts
The onslaught of our crewmen brave.

O’er an hour did volley play
Between our warring ships until
An eerie quiet swept the bay.
Stalemate made; our vessels stilled.

Both captains waved their fancy blades,
A sign that battles here be done.
Lest pirate pride for all cascades
To early grave as prizes won.

We tip our hats to Shenkuu’s ships,
Of flighted sky crew full of tricks,
Ability in air eclipsed
Our pirates eight with ninjas six.

Pirates are the best!
by bangbang__x

Oh, we pirates sail the seven seas,
We search both near and far,
Yes we may have neomites and we may have fleas,
But you can always hear us yelling, “YARR!!”

We train long and hard at the Academy,
Taught by the great Cap’n Threelegs,
We tend to have a strong affinity,
For delicious pirate drink in wooden kegs.

We’re always on the hunt for new loot,
We love dubloons and gold,
For that we are in constant pursuit,
What will our dangerous quests behold?

We love our ships and we love our swords,
We’re brutal and love to fight and plunder,
I’d like to see a ninja beat our ruthless hordes!
Who would win that battle, I wonder?

It be us, the pirates of the Island of Krawk!
Yes, in that battle that’s definitely who!
We would leave the ninjas left only to gawk,
For we pirates are victorious, through and through!

YARRR!!

The Secret Ninja School: The Place for Avid Battlers
by _brainchild_

The Secret Ninja School has goods
Which all respected fighters should
Entrust their battles with. I'm sold
On items, which I treat like gold.

The tea leaves me refreshed. Large health
Calls for this drink from those of stealth.
A Jade Elixir, during strife,
Will refill any pet with life.

A Thick Smoke Bomb will leave your foes
Quite dazed and lacking sight. Who knows
How they could win once struck with this.
I'd wager that they're sure to miss!

So, if you seek some weapons, please
Go see the Ninjas. Wins won't cease
When you're equipped with gems of theirs.
You'll give your rivals quite the scare.

Almost Recruitment Time
by pnaylala24

My name is Esara a Pirate Draik, who recruits new pirates every year.
For a new crew brings much excitement!
When new pirates make the cut, we all cheer!
And give grand words of encouragement!

It's almost recruitment day!
I wonder how many prospects will show,
I won't have much to say,
For I will all ready know

That it's time for new recruits to shine!
Let them show me that they should be chosen
I can't wait to see their faces, what will I find?
That they are driven,

That they are serious about the opportunity
To join the crew
To learn to sail the open sea
To be chosen , one of the few

My new Pirates must not dread
What it takes to be a Pirate
Because they can go be a Ninja instead
Maybe that will make them great

If that's the case, so be it
Become a Ninja, but us real Pirates will say
You will regret
All the adventures you miss every day

Who will shine?
We shall see
Otherwise off with the Ninjas you may dine! (ha ha ha!)
I can't wait until recruitment time!

An Enemy Ship Is In Sight
by dudeiloled

Sail, Ho!
When I heard the unlearn’d pirate,
When the buccaneers, the hands, ran a shot across the bow,
All Hand Hoy!
When I was shown the dubloons and coffer on that opposing Man-O-War, we knew to loot, divide, and scuttle them,
When I sitting heard the pirate, the Old Salt, where he addressed his hearties with much applause beneath the Jolly Roger,
Avast Ye!
Shiver Me Timbers! How soon unaccountable I became a sea legged landlubber,
Till the great chantey rose up, all Krawks together, and our pillage began
Heave Ho!
In the rush of waves, foam, sky,
No prey, no pay, but pieces of eight under the stars.
Marooned Neopets tell no tales.
