All Abuzz

All around, wings aflutter
Upon lands abound with flora
The Buzz nest in rosy nooks
Basking in mystical aura

The Gold Buzz emulates the sun
And casts a pearly glow
When dawn fades away to dusk
The Starry Buzz will show

In blooming berry fields about
The Strawberry Buzz seeks refuge
Nearby, the Island Buzz rests
In perfect solitude

Beyond the jewel blue stream
Curving around ancient trees
The Water and Maraquan Buzz unite
And journey around with ease

All alike, yet none the same
Proud colors on display
In unison we celebrate
A very Happy Buzz Day!

A Buzz, Because!

Well, who knows, beats me!


My favourite type of pet,
you don't know why, I bet,
but listen close, and take some notes,
to the traits that this bug totes!


I love my Buzz because
my home is free of fuzz.
While he may fear the sea,
he loves my maple tree.


He's the best that they can get,
he's never been upset,
and as the name denotes,
he buzzes as he floats!


My friendly little Buzz,
No matter what he does,
he fills my heart with glee;
To happiness, he is the key!


Since the day he flew in my net,
he's the greatest bug I've met!
This Buzz praise, don't misquote;
Do you see the reasons I must gloat?


While my words may put you in a muzz,
this excitement sets my mind abuzz!
My friend, can't you see
why I'm a Buzz devotee?

The Buzz Alchemist

Sequestered away in his magical home,
With simply no place that’s better to roam
The Buzz Alchemist, a scientist, yes;
What he creates is anyone’s guess!

A dash of magic, a small pinch of luck,
They yield new solutions that run amok.
Tossing ingredients without a care,
Lobbing them high up into the air!

Few come and visit this magical Buzz
Because of the chaotic things he does!
But if you do, you’re in for a surprise,
He’s got a collection, a feast for the eyes.

A card collection, it is to be said,
That instead of framing, he plays with instead.
With gusto, he teaches his guests how to play
The TCG he practices all day. 

So, despite his appearances and crazy acts
The Buzz wants you to sit down and relax
And play card games with him in his lab
In a backdrop that’ll never be drab!

The Collectable Card Shopkeeper

When you've got nothing to do,
And nothing to buy,
This Buzz Shopkeeper says,
"Come on down, don't be shy!"

"I have many exciting cards
"With which to fill your deck!
"Don't know which ones you need?
"Pull up my catalogue and check!"

"Do you want to collect monsters,
"Or Neopia's greatest heroes?
"There are cards for everyone,
"Trust me, I would know!"

"I have all the Cheat! players,
"And the Defenders of Neopia.
"What about Krawk Island's pirates,
"Or the denizens of Tyrannia?"

They're just cards, you think,
Yet he showers them with care.
Be they commonplace cards
Or cards expensive and rare.

Sealed in plastic wrap,
Or locked away in a chest,
But the highest shelves are reserved
For the best of the best.

He flies up to show them off,
The pride and joy of his stock.
It's no wonder that these cards
Are kept shut up and locked.

"Oh, those holographic cards?
"They are limited edition."
Just don't look at the prices,
You might just have a conniption!

A Baby Buzz Awakening

A new dawn breaks
Amongst dewy leaves
A little one awakens
Crawling out from the eaves

It’s the very first dawn
This baby buzz has seen
Oh, what a fresh feeling!
Everything’s a glorious scene

From the skies above
Gradually lightening in hues
To the flower fields below
In shades of violets, blues

The baby buzz takes in
With wide eyed wonder
Wishing it could see more
Instead of taking a slumber

But someday, it will get to 
Open its wings and roam 
And see further than
These lands from home

How the Buzz Got Their Name

Once a year, each Buzz day,
all the cute creepy crawlies come out to play. 
And when they take flight, wings beating the same,
you will learn why the Buzzes got their name.

The rumbling is loud, their cheers are thunderous,
yet due to their wee size, all you hear is them bumble.
They dart through the sky in a joyous dance.
You should watch if you get the chance.

If you see their excitement I know you’ll agree,
every day ought to be a Buzz jubilee.

Buzz and the Rarest Fruit

A bright sunny day
on a ranch far away
there lived a tree
whos trunk was stout
with no leaves about

for this tree bore a fruit
of rarity and colour
Out of all the lands
and all the trees
The rarest of them all
sat on this tree

Many Days later
when the fruit was ripe
you could hear a buzz 
through the night

As Buzz grew near
the fruit in sight
he reached out his arms
with glee in sight

He grabbed the fruit
with all his hands
filled with joy
and lots of plans
he flew up high
into the night
with more fruit
in his sights.

An Electric Buzz Has Charged This Poem

                      Emit a bright cerulean glow.
                     His eyes have lit right up

               Generate, in his own

A Lonesome Grub

A brisk Month of Sleeping day is hardly one for a jaunt
the screeching winds and dead brown grasses haunt

bundled in fluffy down and luxurious fleece
I barely saw the obstruction located on the street.

A lumpy green, iridescent and brilliant lime sheen,
a colour like this in winter? it seems obscene

What could it be? An early forb, grass, or fruit?
Maybe a hiker hasty for spring, their colourful coat strewn?

No, here is a lumpy, bumpy creature
Except for large mesh-like eyes, there is no other prominent feature

Small almost-mandibles droop
as the creature huddles in the shape of a loop.

Ah! This is no strange oddity at all,
this is a Buzz, a baby one, who can barely crawl

Come along, friend, I have a pillow for you to rest
with a warm fire and a cup of hot cocoa – only the best!

Today is Buzz Day and all should be appreciated with flair
because when you least expect it, you may stumble on a friend, so tread with care!

If I Were a Buzz

If I had an option to be a species of pet
When my decision is made, I'd be a Buzz, I bet!
Who wouldn't want to fly around with those fancy wings?
I'd travel Neopia so quickly and see all the things!

I'd find myself a friend who's an avatar collector
And in the battledome, I'd be their protector
When they get blessed, I'll take a dip in the pool
They'll gain an avatar and my new paint would be cool!

I could be speckled or starry, transparent or snow
Or I can be stealthy and dawn a red robe
With some training I'm sure that I can look the part
Of a Buzz who can win every fight that they start

My dream is to drink a potion, then open my eyes
And see in the mirror my biggest surprise
My reflection shows that I've become a Buzz!
I've got really neat scales where before I had fuzz.
