Maraquan Mynci Day

Maraquan Mynci, pink and scaled,
Have not their cousins' prehensile tails,
But rather rudders, flat and finned,
Propelling them forward as they swim

Neither do they have saucered ears,
Yet in the depths they, too, can hear, 
Floating above the sandy ground
They follow all intriguing sounds

For curious, like all Mynci,
Are those who live beneath the sea;
They congregate, cavort, and yelp
Through jungles full of swaying kelp

With eyes that dominate their heads,
Toes and fingers, strong and webbed,
Lungs adapted to the depths,
They are cool aquatic Neopets

Displaying the well-known Mynci sweet tooth,
Their favourite snack is Fungi Fruit,
And they follow its scent on currents warm
To where they grow off island shores

On Mynci Day they float and feast,
Unburdened by earthbound gravity,
Laugh and play until the day is done,
Then follow the shimmering red 
Of the setting sun

Cellblocked

He hails from the Citadel,
And is a tough opponent, too.
When you play him in Cellblock,
You won’t know what to do.

His name is Master Vex,
And he’s a very clever Mynci.
Many have tried to play him,
And I’m sure they’d all agree.

When you think you’ve won,
He has beaten you to it!
I just want that avatar;
I am just going to throw a fit.

I managed to win a game,
But not enough it seems.
Beating Master Vex
Will happen only in my dreams.

He made the game himself,
Probably locked up in his cell.
When he resisted Lord Kass,
Prison was where he would dwell.

His imprisonment explains,
Why the game is called Cellblock. 
Trapped by the infamous Lord Kass,
With no way to pick his lock.

So, on this Mynci Day,
Why not challenge Vex to a game?
If he should beat you,
Don’t look at me to blame!

Arnold's Carnival Contest

And the occasional brush
Of Halloween, though.

Tangor The Tinkerer

Tangor is a well-known green Mynci,
Who lives in the depths of Moltara city.
He spends all his time in his workshop,
Hours on end, he works and doesn't stop.

He can pick any item and take it apart,
What Tangor does is truly a work of art!
Even if it's made of one thousand bits,
Tangor will find a way to make every piece fit.

He likes to solve puzzles and riddles,
When it takes me a lot of effort, 
It takes him a little.
Tangor has that curious Mynci drive,
When he's got a puzzle is when he thrives.

So, he puts together every bolt and nut,
He's never heard of being "stuck in a rut."
"Tangor the Tinkerer" is his nickname,
That's all he does; every day's the same.

Widgets, gadgets, and trinkets galore,
Come to his workshop; see what's in store.
Beware, his creations are the best known,
I guarantee you'll take something home.

And then Arnold tells you

You're laughed out of the fair
And can never live it down,
And you can see the Techo Master
Giving you a big frown.

You'll need more training,
As your strength wasn't that big,
After all, it was a strength tester,
Surely it wouldn't be rigged...

Toy Box Escape Myncies

My friends and I are Myncies,
From the game Toy Box Escape,
We quite adept at climbing
Over any toy box shape.

We work with all the others
In our efforts to get free,
And I think we make the perfect team,
Anyone would agree!

I'm a purple Mynci,
My friends are green and blue,

We stick to it like glue.

We're not afraid of great, big heights,

Hurtles down with crushing force

But there is far more
To Tangor's metalworking
Than smashing metal

No, Tangor's business
Requires both an artist's eye
And dexterous hand

First, this skilled Mynci
Collects fine moltite, iron,
And obsidian

Next, he forges them
Into perfectly shaped parts
With deft precision

Then he welds each part
Together, to craft a new
Petpet or gadget

Tangor works wonders
With anvil, hammer, and tongs;
No smith can match him.

Here in this workshop
A Mynci builds miracles --

Song Of The Wild Myncies

Where the living jungle hums
To the tones of olden drums,
The wild Myncies dart and leap
With mastery of hands and feet

The pulse of the jungle is as thus,
Where vines will climb and water gush,
The Myncies sing the song of life,
A song of joy and end of strife

They sing with pounces and vaults and dives
At the heart of all that is alive,
While Neopia groans in troubled sleep
They swim in waters clear and deep

The civilized world has claimed a few,
They’ve put on suits and shiny shoes,
But there remains within their secret hearts,
A longing for the primal arts

To know the language of the jungle
And feel its every shift and rumble,
From Meridell, Neovia, and Shenkuu to flee,
To shed their shoes and to be free

The feral Mynci dances to the pulse of the wild,
As naïve and mischievous as a wayward child,
He is certain of the truth inside the song,

Magma Mynci, Swim

Red-and-orange eyes ablaze
Though not in anger

Most Myncies enjoy
Frolicking in lush treetops
Magma Mynci can't

Magma swims instead,
In the pool from whence he came
As the guard watches

Shining, flame-tipped tail
Guides the Mynci as he swims
Switching to and fro

Lava can't hurt him;
Magma Mynci laughs with glee
At that absurd thought

Some may think it odd
Magma cannot swing or climb...
Their minds have limits
