A Lone Neopoint
by Appajak

As I traveled through Neopia,
And being quite alert,
I noticed something sparkle
And glimmer in the dirt

A Neopoint shone right there,
I shrugged and stood to go,
For a single 'point was worthless
And I was late to see a show.

"How dare you leave me here,
Like a piece of common dung?!?"
The 'point called to me --
Its pride was sorely stung.

"Sure, I'm not a cola coin,
Not a Nerkmid or dubloon.
But I am the heart Neo-nomics
From Maraqua to Kreludor's moon!"

"I built the pyramids in Lost Desert,
I paid for the Virtupets Station,
Wars have been fought over me
And I'm received with much elation."

"So, leave me here if you be a fool,
Continue with your day.
But when you're poor upon the floor
Don't claim I didn't say..."

I rolled my eyes and sighed,
And put the point within my pocket.
For Neopoints who keep shouting
It's a decent way to stop it.

Foal In Box
by Chavo_guerrero

You Neomails are full, oh no!
Whatever can I do?
I want to get in touch with you,
But I really have no clue!

I can't tell you to clear your mail
Without mailing you to say,
And waiting for you to notice
Could take pretty much all day!

Should I send a Battledome request?
Well, I don't really want to fight...
I could send a bunch of dung your way,
But now, that's not very polite.

But there is a solution to my woes,
And item just for this,
It's called the Foal in Box -- a pun!
And it's difficult to miss.

If I send you this I really mean,
"Your inbox is full to burst.
I want to write a little note,
But you'll have to clear it first!"

Krawk Island
by Spukl1

Krawk Island is far
It’s a major port for ships
Weather is sunny

Home to all the Krawks
Petpets transform into 'pets
Magical fungus

Smugglers live here
With no absolute ruler
And the great Dubloons

Fungus caves are cold
And pirate caves are missing
Land of mystery

Seafood is eaten
And many taverns with grog
The Golden Dubloon

The Academy is
A wonderful place to train
Swashbuckling fancy

The people that live
Are an interesting bunch
Those swarthy pirates

Captain Threelegs with
Captain Dread, Captain Bloodhook,
Hannah and Garin

Captain Threelegs trains;
Retired from pirating,
Teaching pardons him

Captain Dread -- Kiko
Caused whirlpool that destroyed
Maraqua, the curse

Captain Bloodhook is
A notorious pirate,
Hannah’s enemy

Hannah travels far;
Adventurer who bears the
Mark of Ka-Tutep

Garin loves his ship...
The Black Pawkeet sails around
Isca could not steal heart

On the coastline is
Island of Scurvy, bad place
The less welcome live

There’s Captain Scarblade,
Self-proclaimed ruler of seas,
Tried to destroy Mara

Pirakeet and him
Failed to destroy the place,
Now live in exile

Winter Thief
by _clement_

The thieves may steal your socks,
Leaving your feet cold and bare
But there will always be a mightier bandit,
Who ripples through your hair
He strikes on frosty mornings,
And blustery afternoons,
But no amount of training
Will prepare you for when he looms
His favourite haunts, without a doubt,
Are the caves of Terror Mountain,
Where icy snowflakes and talk of slushies
Drift all the way to the Rainbow Fountain
This mysterious villain, so elusive and bold,
Will grasp you in his icy hold
He'll steal your favourite scarf and hat,
When you're on your way to play DAR-BLAT!!!
But worst of all he'll make you shiver,
Wishing you had thick fur like a Tyrannian,
And now for the name of this thief,
It simply is The Wind

In The Sway
by Thisisbutterfly

Be candid, do not speak
Louder than the softest breeze.
There are ears inside these walls,
There are eyes on all the trees.

Come inside, my brother.
Do not remove your cloak or hood.
Not until the order sits
And the doors are closed for good.

Let us rise, my friends and comrades,
For the Duchess comes to speak.
Let silence fall upon your lips
As she opens her noble beak.

Listen closely, do not wander,
Lest you miss her command.
It may be steeped in code,
And our time is close at hand.

So many secrets we have hoarded,
For so very many years.
But it seems to our headmistress
That our unveiling time, it nears.

Stillness befalls our table
As we wait on bate breath.
For, if she says the word,
We shall march toward our death.

Worry not, my shaking brother,
Do not let your heart grow weak.
For centuries we've done this,
It's control we hunt and seek.

They need us, those poor fools.
They know it not, but still,
We control their mere existence.
We direct and bend their will.

Perhaps this time they will see us,
They shall know our glory well.
They will all bow before us,
Their fear and awe shall swell.

Yet, for now, we are clandestine.
Surreptitious we shall lay
In the shadows; planning puppeteers.
In the shadows, in the Sway.
