Why Won't Boochi Come For Me?
by Catglove

Zapping royal Draiks,
Crushing owners' dreams,
This kind of thing
Is Boochi's idea of fun.

Oh, Boochi, dear Boochi, dear,
Won't you come for me?
Ghost is such a boring colour,
I'd like to be baby!

That high-pitched evil laugh,
That buzzing little "ZAAAPP,"
Most 'pets don't want to hear that,
But I'm somepet who does!

Oh, Boochi, dear Boochi, dear,
Won't you come for me?
Ghost is such a boring colour,
I'd like to be baby!

Refreshing page on page,
Playing NeoQuest,
Throwing things at Adee,
Who takes up all the space!

Oh, Boochi, dear Boochi, dear,
Won't you come for me?
Ghost is such a boring colour,
I'd like to be baby!

My owner won't buy the brush,
Saying it's much too pricey,
But 600k is a fair price to pay
For my eternal glee!

Oh, Boochi, dear Boochi, dear,
Won't you come for me?
Ghost is such a boring colour,
I'd like to be baby!

Charge!
by Ilhs11

I waited nervously
Outside the Battledome
For my worthy opponent.

He came suddenly;
I felt the fear rise in my chest
As he snorted in arrogant defiance.

I gulped loudly;
My knees started to shake
As I clutched my sword more tightly.

We entered quickly;
I just wanted this to be over
As soon as was Neopianly possible.

It echoed hollowly,
This 'dome of my demise,
When he began to charge toward me.

He came faster...
I raised my sword in preparation
And closed my eyes, fearing the worst.

I swung wildly,
Hitting him flat across the back
When I heard his thunderous approach.

He fell dizzily...
I knocked him out, it seems,
With the broadside of my sword.

I won, surprisingly,
On that day... my very first fight,
When all I had wanted was an avatar.

NeoQuest: Insane
by Rock_star_megs

NeoQuest, NeoQuest, NeoQuest:
There’s something I must confess,
But you’ve not caught me at my best
Because I’m playing Insane mode.

Twice before I have defeated you,
So I know what to do,
But I admit I’m nervous due to
The fact I died three times in Evil.

It was totally my fault.
I didn’t think to halt
And use potions as I ought,
But I won’t make that mistake again.

Walking, walking, walking
(There needs to be more portals of teleporting),
To find the latest weapons upgrade prizing
So I can get out of this confusing maze.

Potions and experience points
Are few and far between;
And enemies are certainly very mean,
And some seem rather keen
To take my health for their own.

I think I’ve begun to fear the colour red
Because it means I’m almost dead --
I knew I should’ve fled! --
Oh phew, my self-healing finally kicked in.

Xantan, Gors, Archmagus of Roo,
You are all tough to get through,
But I know I can defeat you,
And do this again on NeoQuest II!

Pledge Of The Seeker
by Skylar3

My allegiance is to intelligence.
My mission is of facts.
I'll never stop in my quest
to make my noggin packed!

Museums are my paradise,
and libraries my oasis.
I vow to learn something new
on a daily basis.

I shall never take for granted
the ability to learn.
I shall never underestimate
my enemies, in turn.

I am sworn to defend knowledge
and precious artifacts.
Any written literature
must be cataloged and stacked.

I will honor this announcement;
my dedication will never waver.
To share the things that I have learned,
will always be my favor.

The Obelisk
by Mypetsandi

Obelisk of a thousand secrets,
Obelisk of wondrous lore,
What enigma do you conceal?
What codes and ciphers of yore?

Dungeon of imminent dismay,
Dungeon of darkness and doom,
Will this be the end of times?
Will this be Neopia's tomb?

Tower of magical charms,
Tower of power of mind,
What virtues do you harness,
Stronger than faeries combined?

Monolith of battles of old,
Monolith of Tyrannia's glory.
Tell me your tales of havoc,
Let me know all you stories.

Mausoleum of ancient kings,
Mausoleum of the deceased,
Whose body do you protect
Against Neopets and beasts?

Shrine in honour of the great,
Shrine to praise the kindhearted,
Whom do you wish to venerate?
Whom of the realm of the departed?

Pillar of new dreams and hopes,
Pillar of a brand new light,
What fables will hence come true?
To what fledgling will you give flight?

Stone slab of a noble worth,
Stone slab out of a thief's mind,
What fate will you now suffer
If your wealth the guild should find?

Stele of utter confusion,
Stele, I am down on my knees.
Please let me in on your craft,
Reveal your purpose to me, please.
