The stalls are all loaded with different tastes
Of dark, the most bitter, and milk and white
Even an adventurous palate will surely enjoy
Orange and strawberry and mint - just a bite!

But don't sit in the sides, just munching away
The ball is for making new friends for today
So get up and go, and dance all you may

Delicious it really is,

You can add cheese,
but it will only make you fatter.

Amazing for an Halloween treat,

Always good on cakes,
some like it in their milk.
Good muffins the baker bakes,
which taste smoother than the silk.

sometimes you have to be really fast.
It leaves you begging for more,
even when you said it was the last.

Honoured with an annual ball,
all the pets will surely attend.
Some crave, others crawl,
to have the biggest piece in the end.

You must try the Steak Cake - I advise.

Or have a Faerie Eclair, I do declare,
they are quite the delight.
We'll meet there one day and share a Kau Sundae
'Til then try to eat healthy and light.

Today's the yearly Chocolate Ball!
Which treat's the tastiest of all?
Excited, I take off with glee
For the Chocolate Factory!

I dash through dazzling gilded doors.
When I see the food, I'm floored!
So many awesome edibles
Just have to taste delectable.

Lollipops and gum I see,
Yet chocolate's the one for me.
The sweet milk version is my choice.
I take a bite and then rejoice!

The creamy flavor's on my tongue.
The birds of taste so grand have sung!
I quickly reach for some more
Of the treat that I adore!

Then, later, to my dismay,
The Shopkeeper says, "You must pay."
"Sorry! Points I have no more."
"Then get yourself out of my store!"

The makers have reached sheer perfection
With their sweet candy confection.
I long for more of the taste,
Yet the Shopkeeper I faced.

Ladies wear gowns adorned with toffee
Gentlemen at the table sip hot mocha coffee

Dip mallows and pretzels at the fondue fountain
Caramels are perfectly stacked like a mountain
There are treats all around, and yes you can bet
There's a chocolate bar shaped like each neopet

If you're hungry and waiting for dinner to be ready
Help yourself to some chocolate soup or spaghetti
But don't miss dessert or you've made a mistake,
It's a nine-tiered chocolate ganache covered cake

There'll be dancing and eating late into the eve,
Try to sample each delicacy before you leave
Have a decadent time, and we'll see you next fall
For another magnificent Chocolate Ball!

Ode to Chocolate

There are lots of things that I would do,
To eat more chocolate, yes it's true.
So what else is a Neopian to do,
Than indulge in a yummy treat or two?

I would sell off all my Neopoints,
And stalk the chocolate factory joints.
I would line up early at the shops,
To buy the candy once it drops.

Or maybe learn to make it myself,
And sell it gladly on a shelf.
But let us be honest, you and I,
I'd likely eat it all on the fly!

I could stuff some sweeties in my pocket,
And run away fast as a rocket.
I'd eat the lollies behind a tree,
You would never even notice me!

I do love chocolate oh so much,
It gives my belly the magic touch.
Enjoy this festival of sweets,
And stuff your face with tasty treats!
