BORI DAY SPECIAL

Bori on the Breeze
By Anjie

Azure coat caressed by breeze,
She twirls on wind's soft whim.
Alabaster, silken paths,
Through soft clouds shall she swim.

A dizzying climb to daring heights,
She'll glide down with a sigh.
Tiny Bori, faerie blessed,
Adrift on cobalt sky.

Dreamy spirals, tiptoed dance,
Aglow, those soft wings spread.
Between the peaks of mountains high,
She'll weave and slowly thread.

This playground is a haven safe,
Where none can watch her learn.
These early flights on fragile wings,
A gift she needs to earn.

Ebony, those claws shall stretch,
And clutch the endless space.
Exhaling slowly she'll relax,
Serene smile firm in place.

Freedom at her own wings beat,
The wind her silent coach.
Alarm within those vibrant eyes,
As dark storm clouds approach.

Twist so rapid, head for home,
Upon the zephyr light.
Another day, another dawn,
Another Bori flight.

Den of the Ice Bori
By Stariell

Somewhere on the mountain gleams,
Between the curves of frozen streams,
A creature only glimpsed in dreams.
And only seen but seldom then,
One lucky glance never had again,
As it hides away in its rocky den.

Shyest creature out of them all,
Ice Bori, strange and beautiful,
Quiet, and hear its lonely call.
Echoing through the snow-clad stone,
Could it be an unhappy moan,
Or does it choose to be alone?

Fragile ice Bori, cool and clear,
Fleeing whenever strangers near,
To its hidden home it disappears.
But not so very solitary there,
Within the darkened mountain lair,
Others breathe that same frosty air.

A thousand of its kind or more,
Gathered together by the score,
Ice creatures never seen before.
Now deep beneath the stony beams,
Each icy facet shines and gleams,
On Bori only glimpsed in dreams.

Bori of Chocolate
By _Razcalz_

Up the mountain in a cave,
A Bori sits alone.
Creamy ears and candy corns,
Dashing russet tone.
Chocolate Bori, light-brown eyes,
Envy of all sweets.
Pet of solid chocolate,
Delicious cocoa treat.

Swishing tail of richest goo,
Twitching, cream-capped ears.
Candy corns in place of claws,
Three bright colours clear:
Lemon yellow, orange tinge,
Ending with the white.
Trails of golden icing run,
They wriggle in delight.

Bori of unique design,
(Aren't you drooling now?)
Before obtaining one yourself,
To one thing you must vow.
This Bori's not something to eat,
(I'm sure he would agree.)
Don't attempt to lick that tail,
Though tempting it may be!

The Keeper
By Concertogreat_8

A dim blue glow surrounds a throne,
Upon it sits a Bori lone.
Ice drips from a frozen mane,
A cruel fate, the Keeper's bane.

(And time passes slow,
Rippling in the chrono flow)

The Keeper sits, tall, erect,
Guardian of the mountain elect.
Wise face in expression grave,
Holds in one paw a carven stave.

(And time passes slow,
Rippling in the chrono flow)

Watchful eyes dolefully stare,
Lachrymose diamonds, matched pair.
Clocks toll dimly, gears wind,
Inside the Keeper's ice-locked mind.

(And time passes slow,
Rippling in the chrono flow)

A silent monument, a perfect statue,
A choice he made, forever he'll rue;
He watches over a silent people,
As from his glacial steeple.

(And time passes slow,
Rippling in the chrono flow)

The Keeper resides in a promised land,
Now covered by time's snowy sand.
Frosty watcher, held frozen in time,
Till the awaited hour the clock should chime.

The Bori Mage
By Yoyote

Her ears are tinged with rosy pink;
Her hair sweeps down like silk.
The way she glides suggests she slides
upon a mysterious rink...
Her eyes are smooth as milk.

Who is this lovely Bori?
So few are left to tell.
There are icy spears and broken tears
behind each faded story...
She is a dangerous belle.

Where dwells this pretty Bori?
Oh, the very darkest place.
From depths of time comes strength divine
that'll make trespassers sorry...
Only power will she embrace.

What fares this mystery Bori?
No one will ever know.
Her soul she enslaves to crystal caves,
guarding some secret glory...
She lives in an unseen glow.

She raises her arms toward the ceiling
and there comes a wondrous blast.
Her long robes whirl in a dreamy swirl,
but she seems to have no feeling...
She sees only the spells of the past.
