JHUDORA DAY SPECIAL

Jhudora!
By Rhiannonleigh1979

In Faerieland the light does grace
The clouds illuminated,
But every lamp must cast a shadow,
Dawn with dusk is shaded.
Light faeries bask in radiance
With sunbeams on their wings,
Dark faeries choose the murky gloom--
This is the way of things.

One dark faerie named Jhudora
Is the darkest of them all,
Her cloud in shining Faerieland
Bears a deadly somber pall.
She sits in silence like the grave
And contemplates her evil plans,
Sending Neopets on quests
To meet her foulest demands.

A legend says that long ago
Illusen, brightest earth faerie,
Did thwart Jhudora's grandest plot.
The details are a mystery
But ever since that storied day
Jhudora has been scheming,
To gain revenge on Illusen
Is what Jhudora's dreaming.

Meanwhile, young Neopets beware
The darkest Faerie's requests,
The prizes she will give to you
Are poisonous treats at best.
Don't let yourselves be used as pawns
In Jhudora's wicked game,
She's dealt out many mournful fates
Yours too, will be the same!

Jhudora on her Cloud
By Kushbi

Sizzling tendrils of glowing mist,
A screen of purple fog
Belie a dwelling of villainy
Upon a land of clouds.

Gilded throne she lounges on
With supercilious smile,
Haughtiness is natural
To this faerie, so dark.

Artefacts of power, great,
She promises with glee,
Just bring her what she asks for,
And you will soon be pleased.

From noxious nectar to malice brew,
Her gifts are most depraved,
To power-hungry pets they are
Dear tools to ensnare slaves.

Warnings dire, do sharply ring:
"Approach not Jhudora's Cloud!"
But when her magic intoxicates,
None can resist being bound.

Jhudora
By Kikiscamps_mom

She slips through dreams with somber beauty,
Whispering of love and duty,
"Spoil yourself; where's the harm?
A duty to Ego has its charm."
Gossamer veils brush sleeping faces,
Dusting glitter of luxury's traces:
"Would you have Fortune?
Glory or Power?
I can assist you within the hour!
No long years of drudgery,
Just a simple request:
Act at my bidding,
Do my behest.
A simple price for your heart's desire,
A little walk through green-laced fires."
She extends her hand, the sleeper stirs...
Then she wakes upon her bedtime furs.
"Who is the dreamer, and who the dream?"
She murmurs to self with a wicked gleam,
And across Neopia, in cot and hold,
Sleepers shiver in unconscious cold.

Jhudora's Cloud
By Brilliance109p

Around the lucent waters,
Across the wispy lake,
There is a cryptic hidden cloud
Where darkness comes awake.

The hiss of misty purple
Imprisons you as you walk,
Luring you closer and closer
To where the darkness stalks.

A flash of sharp and angry eyes;
It tears the night apart,
There's nothing but hatred and jealosy
Inside Jhudora's heart.

Dare you ever shadow her path
Or tread upon her home
Be cautious as you walk this cloud
Where her darkness roams.

Between this freezing sinister night;
A yell, a shout aloud!
You may just never see light again
Inside Jhudora's cloud.

Jhudora's Advice
By Lacieskywalker

What know you of evil, mortal so mere?
When Neopia was born, it was I who was here;
Your life begun after,
And before mine, yours will end;
Your life is a candle, but I am the wind.

The wind can blow favorably if it decrees--
Instead of a bluster, it can be a soft breeze.
Will you find favor with nature today?
Hearken my voice; I'll teach you the way.

Do not heed my sisters! Their word is deceit.
Fall not for their beauty, their voices so sweet!
Their way is oppression;
'Tis control that they seek,
To keep Neopets humble, obedient, and weak.

But my way is power, for those who are strong:
Those who can conquer the road harsh and long.
Dear mortal, fear not; do not turn away;
Give in to temptation, to power's sweet sway.

Come now to Jhudora,
To my throne of green fire;
Come now to serve and I'll grant your desire.
Riches and glory, power and bliss;
The price may be great, but so is the gift.
