CHIA DAY SPECIAL

The Happy Chias
By Prettykitty60

A Chia is a creature unique,
Unruly hair, squinting eyes,
Short arms and stubby feet,
But be fooled not by their guise!
Spirits forever filled with bliss,
Always smiling and content,
No reason to be sad, they insist
They love fun, yet are diligent.
A pet with many different looks;
Robot and snow, desert and pea,
Seeming as if found only in books,
But Chias are what they want to be.
One can even transform into a fruit
If a Chia pop they choose to eat,
Or they could be pirates finding loot
Drifting along in Neopia's seas.
A free spirited pet, joy is brought
To all who come across their way,
Negativity, these pets know not
Especially on this happy Chia day!
So while you eat your cake,
And enjoy your bright balloons,
Remember the Chia, and the way
Their smile lights up the whole room!

Revenge of the Chia Clown
By Kushbi

He haunts you in your dreams,
Amidst the foggy grey,
A giggle resounds from nowhere,
An echo most depraved.

Dressed in jester's garb,
Thick paint upon his face,
But he's not here for jokes or laughs,
You should be much afraid.

Once he tried with effort great,
Just hoping to impress,
But scorn, you did, his complex tricks
And said he was a mess.

His gags and quips and pranks,
Conceived with utmost care,
Fell upon a thankless crowd
Which booed him till he left.

Suffer not an audience rude,
He seethed with much contempt,
Seeking ways to get his due
And exact a sweet revenge.

Thus in dreams of audience old,
Perform, he does, with glee,
And all are forced to watch him jest,
Lips frozen in toothy grin.

Beware, at dusk when sleep arrives,
Apologize with care,
For if the clown is still displeased,
Prepare for your worst nightmare.

Chia Day
By Peterpuffin1

My Lupe has a rather strange feeling, it's true,
Something that he must confess:
Every time that he walks
Past the Chocolate shop,
There's a craving that he can't repress.
He'd pass up each biscuit and treat in the world
To have just so much as one bite
Of the brown, sticky goodness
That oozes and swells
By the name of a Chocolate Delight.

They come in both all shapes and sizes,
But he likes one type more than the rest.
Though a chocolate Lupe or a Pteri is swell,
He likes chocolate Chias the best!
In the back of his room, he keeps up a stash,
And when the day has come,
He takes it all out and waves it about,
Shouting, "Happy Chocolate Chia Day everyone!"

Chia Berry Picking!
By Anjie

Abundant are the glossy fields,
And bountiful the crops each yields.
Like crimson lanterns, berries drape,
Each one in tiny Chia shape!
At dawn on every sun-kissed day,
A group of Chias walk this way.

Each has a bucket in his hand,
And tiny ladders, where they stand.
A Chia berry picking group,
And in vast fields they stretch and stoop.
Those Chia berries, they collect,
The finest ones they do select.

One Chia sings a harvest song,
And in a group, all hum along.
"We berry pick all morn' and 'noon!"
They hum in perfect, merry tune.
So rapid do the buckets fill,
That Chia berries often spill!

The crimson fruits grow wild and free,
They're sweet, as Chias tend to be!
So tasty in a cake of pie,
Right off the plate those treats all fly!
Each berry is a ruby gem,
Which Chias claim looks just like them!

Squeezed they make a cooling drink,
The finest taste, all Chias think!
To work the Chias march with joy,
"Hard Work!" A motto they employ.
One Chia day relax, sit back,
Enjoy a Chia berry snack!

Chocolate Chia?
By Celeblanthirien15

It was a rainy day in Neopia
And my Chia went outside.
"I love to play in mud puddles," he'd said.
"Go ahead, then," I'd replied.

About ten minutes later
I had a craving for some sweets,
So I looked around my Neohome
For some chocolate to eat.

There wasn't any in the kitchen
Or even in my room,
So I decided to go buy some
And bring it back home soon.

I grabbed my big umbrella
And opened the front door,
And standing right in front of me
Was a chocolate Chia -- SCORE!

I picked it up to take a bite,
But then dropped it with a thud...
"I'm not made out of chocolate," it said,
"I'm your Chia covered in mud!"
