Halloween Paint Brush
By Eowyn123

I bought a Halloween paint brush
Just the other day
I haggled on the trading chat
So I only paid 326k

An eerie little paint brush with
Two catlike, orange eyes
Glowing amidst black paint
Looking ever so sly

But which Neopet should be painted?
Is what I now wonder
This is a one-use item
So I don't want to make a blunder

Should I use it on my Ixi?
It'll be a devil, bad and red
With a really wicked look
To fill your heart with dread

Or should I paint my Kougra?
A gothic gargoyle it'd become
With black wings that spread out far
Waiting for a storm to come

Or how about my Cybunny?
A vampire it could be
A long, black cape, plus two fangs
Other Neopets better flee

Even my Bruce can join the fun!
With a broom and a pointed hat
A little witch all year round
Hanging out with black cats

I wish I could buy three more brushes
So they can all be painted Neopets
Alas, I don't have the Neopoints
But I can't decide which
Of my Neopets to paint just yet

A Special English Sonnet For Audacious Stan
By xlLilxlpnoyx

Stan owns an atypical and anomalous life,
Avoidance and evading is what he does best.
Opposition or contention may result in strife,
Please don't envision that this Kyrii's a pest.

Bagguss of Sakhmet City is what he adores,
Though, the satisfaction
Of tchea fruits will also do!
He searches the city and continues to explore,
Unattended items he'll instantaneously pursue!

Elephante guards will be roaming around,
Vigilantly watching with their sharp, keen eyes.
Inevitably, there might come
A time when they'll surround,
Hence, a rapid drink of the magic potion
Will result in disguise.

Until he is caught, Stan's journey
Will remain neverending,
This breathtaking and exhilarating expedition
Will linger in pending.

Grey Faerie's Dream
By Spiky_in_the_sky

Many dull things surround the bored Grey Faerie;
Spoiled flowers, ill soil, raindrops falling.
So no one was surprised, but some worried
When she smiled to sleep and slept on smiling.

She dreamt of the frosty Ice Caves,
That somehow miraculously transform
The mounds of whiteness into warm snowballs
With the slight itch of a scratchcard.

She imagined the navy Brightvale skies
Overcast with the knowledge and wisdom
Of a hundred scholars living in King Hagan
Who wheels out his knowledge as a prize.

She saw the winterless Lost Desert
Handing out for all little presents
While shifting through sizzling sand
Asking a gift from the shrine of Coltzan

She remembered the hidden Deep Catacombs
That sang back the echoes of others in time
After being tampered and re-strung
As a ballad, a cadence, and a rhyme.

She finally dreamt of the grand Faerie City
Floating way above in high fashion
As a heavenly haven helping
And bringing excitement for a chance.

With a tiny Polarchuck's roar,
The Grey Faerie awoke;
The raindrops continued skydiving with a
"Plip-plop" and splattered water on her
As she forlorn her now-fleeting faded dreams.

Many dull things surround the Grey Faerie:
Spoiled flowers, ill soil, raindrops falling.
But with her imaginative memory,
Her fallen whispers live in tearless dreaming.

The Cautionary Tale of Ghi Pharun
By Firstmastermind

Ghi Pharun was one of four
Responsible for guarding
The Training School's door
With a determined will
He trained day and night
With a vow never to kill
He proved to all his might

But not all was well;
Not all was right
His pride began to swell
For no reason he began to fight
All of his friends pleaded
"Our rules, you have not heeded!"

And one day, not far from the beach
He encountered a Lupe, who offered to teach
Him how to live his life
Without pain, without strife
Ghi resisted, and he fled from that place
Searching for nothing but a glorious face

But readers beware; listen to me
Ghi went the wrong path
His wrongdoings he could not see
Pride can cause any noble cause to fail
So listen to the warnings
Of this cautionary tale...
