He is the life of the party;
There's always a story to tell.
He can keep his company laughing;
It's to them his drinks do sell.

You can always see me there;
It's the coolest place to be,
Being able to hear his tales,
Enjoying yourself is the key.

I met a lot of characters there,
And made friends at every turn.
There's always a conversation to join,
And always something to learn.

But there's a Jetsam I know the best,
He happens to own the place.
He'll stroll about the tables and laugh,
A smile always on his face.

It's my favorite place to visit,
My friends always cheer me up.
Take a seat and ask for a drink,
He'll quickly slide you a cup.

Know the Jetsam Well

Deep down in the cold blue sea,
Lies the most dangerous Neopet of all.
He is not just harmful for his manners,
But also for his looks and more.

I'm not talking about the Bruce, or Koi,
Or Peophin, or Flotsam,
But that ruthless fighting fish
Well known as the Jetsam.

He has teeth as strong as diamonds,
And a tail as fast as light,
But one thing that really stands out
Is his very short height.

You may fear one of these,
As I have feared before,
But keep in mind this saying,
That I have known since I was four.

Be friends with this Neopet,
And you will see:
They are not so bad
As they may appear to be.

Jetsam Day

Three cheers for the Jetsam, a reliable friend,
A species who'll be there for you,
Right to the end.
Now why don't you sit, while I tell you a tale
Of a Jetsam who's tougher than a forceful gale.

One day, Vik the Jetsam was with his pals talking,
When he noticed a problem,
So he started walking.
He walked over to the place,
Where a Shoyru was upset,
For a Techo was yelling at him,
For no reason I bet.

Vik walked over, and put a friendly fin over each,
Using his bulky body to pull them within reach.
He asked what was wrong,
Why everyone was yelling,
Then waited for both to finish their telling.

The Techo was moody over a simple mistake;
It seemed the Techo thought
The table was his to take.
The poor Shoyru was only trying to sit down,
When the Techo decided to shout and frown.

Vik laughed and took the Shoyru to his friends;
The Techo had the table,
But that wasn't the end,
While walking past Vik,
The Techo muttered in a mood,
"Vik should mind his own buisness,
Stick with his food."

Well, this got Vik mad,
His good nature went away,
"Listen to me if you wanna see the light of day,"
He said, and he picked
The Techo up by the throat,
"You wanna be floating alongside a boat?

"If you're gonna be rude, I'm gonna get mad,
And for you, that would be real bad.
If you don't sort yourself out,
I'll throw you off the pier,
Now be a good boy, and you can stay here."

Well, that got the Techo, and he shut his trap;
Then Vik put him down,
And gave his back a hard tap.
He then offered to make the Techo a drink,
And said, "Much better than sea water, I think."

Vik the Jetsam was a peacekeeper deep down,
But the attitude of that Techo
Really made him frown.
Jetsams are nice creatures,
As long as you're calm,
But if you're too nasty,
They can cause you harm.

They're friendly but fierce, your friend for life;
They'll do anything to sort out your strife.
So why not be a good sport?
Be nice and say,
"Hey buddy, happy Jetsam Day!"

Spectre

A vicious visage with cold eyes like steel,
A fearsome mouth with rows of razor teeth,
Always on the lookout for a meal,
The silent danger of the bays and reefs.

These are the traits that often come to mind,
When a Jetsam needs to be described,
But Spectre's a fish of another kind--
Immensely clever, handy with a bribe.

Behind his crimson eyes, there works a brain
The brightest Lenny couldn't hope to match.
His complex schemes for monetary gain
(Almost) always go off without a catch.

There is no better dresser in the sea,
And possibly no finer on the land.
A slyer beast at cards, there's yet to be;
He plays as though he knows your mind and hand.

Of all the villains in this world today,
The one you'd least want to meet face-to-face
(Or worse yet, try to prove his cheating ways)
Is Spectre, finest of the Jetsam race.
