GRARRL DAY SPECIAL

Of Course, It Is the Grarrl
By Cool_bob_94

"Rawr," cries the massive beast,
As it thunders through the trees,
Crushing plants under its feet,
And scattering all the leaves.

It lumbers on through the brush,
Sniffing in the air;
Its eyes searching for something, but
Going close, no one will dare.

Slowly, it continues its rampage,
Through Tyrannia it travels.
It sends a tree crashing down;
At its strength, everyone marvels.

Suddenly, it begins to run;
The smell is growing near.
It looks anxious, it looks hungry,
Everyone hides out of fear.

At the omelette, the big beast stops,
Then takes a gigantic bite.
Oh, all it wanted was some egg!
And we were running out of fright!

Now all came to look at the Neopet
That does not growl or snarl;
Who is this creature, do you ask?
Why of course, it is the Grarrl!

Ukkrah the Fire Grarrl
By Wolfofthewoods

His teeth gnash, his eyes narrow--
He makes your heart sink to your toes.
His claws grasp the blazing turf,
Smoke curls up your nose.

His skin alight with gorgeous flames,
They flicker, they flutter, they churn;
But as he nears you, you're filled with fright:
It's you that fire will burn!

Do you stand and fight this beast,
In all his massive terror?
Or will you leave him all alone,
To bask in his fiery lair?

No worries, should you chose the last,
He'll find someone to beat.
And win, will he,
Fast as fast,
On his fire-enveloped feet.

Grarrls Are Scary?!?
By Lamenesspersonified

If there was a choice for me,
to be friends with any Neopet,
I think that I would choose a Grarrl;
the best friend I could get.

Strong and brave, and ever true,
Grarrls stand out from all the rest,
as ferocious and large, but lovable too,
always ready for any test.

I know Neopets who're scared of Grarrls,
but me, I've always admired
the mischief of a silly young Grarrl,
and the terror it inspires.

It's because I know that underneath,
the Grarrl is sweet and smart;
Grarrls may have really scary teeth,
but they have much bigger hearts.

What Are Grarrls?
By Itty_kitty3

Grarrls are mean, Grarrls are tough,
Many find that Grarrls are rough;
But can you see past that scaly hide,
Into the loving Grarrl inside?

Grarrls may be cruel in the Battledome,
But they really need a loving home,
Give them some soup and a comfy bed,
And your Grarrls could be your very best friends!

Take your Grarrls to their homeland,
And let them listen to their favorite band.
Cheering loud for superstar Grarrls,
With snips and snaps, hoots and howls.

If you give your Grarrls a Grarrl hairbrush,
Chances are they'll say, "Thank you very much!"
So see, Grarrls really can be polite,
If you make sure to treat them right!

Hopefully this poem has shown,
That you need a Grarrl of your very own,
And if you care for them kindly,
They'll make you happy -- take it from me!

Who am I?
By Sakiei

Who am I? A hero to many, a coward to some.
We start out quite small, but large we become.
With razor sharp teeth and an innocent smile,
A unique personality with flawless style.

Sometimes intimidating when entering a room,
To some, we are scary, that's what they assume.
Get to know us well, and then you may see,
We're as friendly as the next guy,
I'm sure you'll agree.

So, if you take a guess, think hard this time:
What Neopet is fitted into my rhyme?
We originate from a place with a cave-like lair,
And we come in a variety of colors,
If you're aware.

Here's another hint for your mind to collect--
We're larger than average,
And we receive much respect.
We stand our ground and remain quite tall,
And our brains are the size of a golf ball.

What in the world could we possibly be?
A Korbat, an Aisha, a Flotsam at sea?
Give up? We're the Grarrls, mighty at hand,
And today is our day, let's make it grand!
