A Red Lutari paves the way. 
Lania Cragg is her name, 
And ingenuity is her game. 

Rebuilding Dacardia is her goal, 
A passion of hers deep in her soul. 
Designing the Crabulator was no easy task, 
Taking time, machinery, and plenty of flasks. 

Her innovation does not stop there, 
The islands destruction she could not bear.
You could call her Dacardia's fixer, 
She also constructed the Molten Mixer. 

Lania is a curious Lutari, 
Navigating Dacardia's lush safari. 
On the lookout for clues in the wild, 
She does it all with style and a smile. 

We commemorate all Lutari's today, 
In our hearts Lania remains. 
For being a pinnacle inventor herself, 
To helping restore the island back to its wealth.

Lutari Island

After all these years, it’s still a mystery-
A foreign world will go down in history.
Beyond the reef in the stormy sea,
There lies Lutari Island in the ocean breeze.

The clouds are dark, the ships won’t go
The wind seems to stop the current’s flow.
Lutaris are nocturnal, they come out at night.
Dancing and gathering fruits by moonlight.

Happy little Lutaris roamed free by the shore,
Their tasks on the island never felt like a chore.
They pick tropical berries to munch as a snack,
Once you’re on the land, you’ll never look back!

Stormy clouds guard the island’s dark secret, 
If you meet any Lutari, they are sure to keep it.
Maybe if you are lucky and the stars align,
You’ll visit their home and leave just fine.

Many have only seen the island in their sleep,
With dreams of lush trees and waves so deep.
A world in Neopia where Lutaris freely roam,
A place not for all, but their one and only home.

I wandered through the NC Mall,
A little tired, a little small.
My colours faded, feeling defeated.
My heart feeling incomplete.

I did not think that I could shine,
Until Umbra Penn's eyes met mine.
They were practising their art skill.
I was mesmerised, time felt still.

I approached, feeling a little odd,
But Umbra gave me a gentle nod.
They asked no questions, made no fuss,
Just painted softly with their brush.

They brushed from the heart,
A soft and caring art.
Every stroke was clean,
I started to feel seen.

When Umbra was done, I felt refreshed.
I was blessed.
They brought back my light,
My colours felt so bright.

So if you're ever lost or feeling gray,

A change on the outside skin,
And also a change in the soul within.

The Royal Boy Lutari

Standing proud with his sturdy staff,
Chill enough to always have a laugh,
The Royal Boy Lutari is here today,
Luckily they won't be going away!

Dressed traditional with island clothes,
Giving them a strong stature and pose,
Looking like a strong warrior who is seasoned in battle,
One that won't be easily rattled!

Wearing a festive hat like crown on their head,
Woven carefully thread by thread,
Including some of the traditional leaves from the trees,
Hard to find outfits with more style than these!

Wearing a golden necklace that shines with pride,
A royal look that can't be denied,
Balancing both tradition and bling,
They now have the outfit of a king!

You can be ready and get one too,
Head over the NC Mall soon or you'll feel blue,
You'll want to get a token before they are out of rotation,
Missing out would be an abomination!

The starry-eyed Lutari,
Is painted blue and yellow.
Like shooting stars ‘cross the night sky,
He is a truly magnificent fellow.

This Lutari is painted Starry,
With a galaxy splattered on his fur.
If you were to call him handsome, 
I would absolutely have to concur.

The starry-eyed Lutari,
Was into astronomy.
Just like his stellar coat,
Starry became a metonymy.

Starry he was,
Starry he loved.
Starry like the sky,
Scattered up above.

Imagined dreams of grandeur.

Like silky smooth velour.

Lania Cragg’s Ode to Umbra Penn

They say “birds of a feather”—but, oh, not us two,
I’m Red, spunky, and chipper, whereas you’re a Grey, muted hue.
Us two Lutari cousins couldn’t be more dissimilar—
I crave attention, whereas you’re more insular.

Even from an early age, it was difficult for us to relate.
I preferred to build with blocks, while you used your brush to create.
But now that we’re older, I am able to see,
There is a major similarity between you and me.

I dream up towers, skylines, and bridges that gleam,
While you paint stormy seascapes in tones of a dream.
I hammer, I hustle, I dance on the beam—
You quietly mix shadows and light into theme.

I get lost in a blueprint’s precise little lines,
You pour your soul onto your canvas designs.
Thought different mediums make our spirits sing,
In both of our hearts, an artist’s soul lies within.

The Faerie Lutari: A Fabulous Friend

A sweet Faerie Lutari is sure to delight!
Why, no finer winged creature can be found in sight.
Sparkles and hues enthral from head to tail,
Ranging from vibrant azure to purple so pale.

Her wings are quite gorgeous, and aid in fine flight!
Sweet Lutari will flutter o'er sunshine so bright.
A motif quite ornate shall adorn pair of wings.
Why, pure happiness is what this pattern shall bring.

Have I mentioned that this pal of ours can swim, too?
Fine Lutari will dive o'er the oceans so blue.
Body sparkles o'er sunshine and waves of the sea.
Why, a swim or a flight fills Lutari with glee.

This Lutari Day, if your pet seeks a new hue,
Then paint her with seafoam green, purple, and blue.
When a pair of wings sprouts, you'll send her on a flight
O'er the skies oh so brilliant, from daytime to night.

Desert Lutaris are the Best!

Lutaris are aquatic Pets,
They like to swim and splash.
In and near bodies of water 
Are where they like to crash.

But this is not always the case,
Some like to play on land!
They prefer where it's dry and warm
And completely covered in sand.

These are known as Desert Lutari
All decked out in gold.
With a beautiful brown coat,
They're a sight to behold!

They cover their heads in a hood
To protect them from the heat.
And wear a bright ruby red belt
So their pants stay looking neat.

Next time you visit The Lost Desert
Be sure to keep an eye out!
You may see one skipping by
So give them a shout!

Lania the Lutari

Lania the Lutari looked around,
To see how much Dacardia had rebuilt.
Much of the island had been destroyed,
So Lania made use of her skills.

The island endured a treacherous storm—
There had been almost nothing left.
Everyone had lost their homes,
And Lania had felt utterly bereft.

The sun eventually shone again—
The inhabitants could finally smile.
Sadly, the ordeal was not over yet—
Rebuilding would take quite a while.

Lania quickly got to work
To do what she did best.
Blueprints, plans, endless drawings—
Lania toiled with little rest.

Slowly the island came back to life—
Lania put in her heart and soul.
The Lutari was proud of the progress made
Rebuilding Dacardia was her goal.

This road to recovery may be long—
It would be terribly daunting to some.
Lania now can pause and rest
To marvel at how far Dacardia has come.

It’s Finally Lutari Day!

The haters call her 'inexperienced'
But she's grown more confident since,
She's now the benchmark of competence

She can block all shots and more;
She can sometimes even score!
That's what we cheer her on for,

2007's new star Rookie
It's Xana's time to be MVP,
And all her teammates do agree,
She'll rise to the challenge!

Praise her for all the gruelling hours

You can only make one on its special day.
But don't you dare abandon it, or it will run away.
These swimming otters have energy in spades;
They move through the water with like razor-sharp blades.

Lutaris love to play, especially in the deep.
These awesome little creatures a friendship will keep.
So play some water sports; they can last for days.
Though if you play too long, they may leave you in a daze.

So is the mysterious Lutari, a cute little pal.
Get one as a pet and have great fun, you shall.
Just never try and leave one, or you will regret;
Losing a true friend, that can be so hard to get!
