The Grundo Story

All is well on Neopia and Virtupets,
But once upon a time the Grundos were distressed.
Listen to this story as you may learn,
A lesson of success and concern. 

This tale starts with Neopia’s hero,
The Space Faerie, the mighty and thorough.
The Island Mystic helped decode a message,
That Dr. Sloth was intent on pillage. 

Mutating Neopets was his goal,
And keeping Grundos under his control.
They did his bidding unfortunately,
Living their lives remorsefully. 

Mira challenged Sloth to stop the commotion,
Only her powers were facing erosion.
To get them back Neopets had to assist,
By freeing Grundos and letting them exist.

Twenty thousand Grundos were relieved,
Those fearsome powers the Space Faerie received.  
Blocking the transmogrification ray to send it right back.
Destruction of the ray and Dr. Sloth was her attack. 

Did evil Dr. Sloth really disappear?
Maybe, maybe not, it may never be clear.
At least those Grundos now live in harmony, 
In Neopia, with happiness and certainty.

The Best Day at Kau Kau Farm

It’s a glorious day at the Kau Kau Farm,
As I lie in the softest, greenest field.
I soak up the rustic, peaceful charm,
And my soul is thoroughly healed.

The sun shines in the sky so clear,
I look up to admire the shades of blue.
I close my eyes, clear my mind to hear,
The soothing sound of harmonising moos.

I even relish the Kau Kau Farm smell,
That wafts through the air into my nose.
This earthy scent, I do have to tell,
Gets me through life’s highs and lows.

I take a sip of Kau Kau Farm Milk,
Tall grass is swaying in the breeze.
This milk is much smoother than silk,
And I savour some Mini Kau Cheese.

I stroll around the Kau Kau Farm,
And take refuge on a bale of hay.
The cutest Kaus trot out of the barn,
Today is such a wonderful day!

The Spring Gift Basket: Trash or Treasure Awaits

A Spring Gift Basket may surprise,
A lucky draw before my eyes.
What springtime goodies are within?
I really ought to take a spin.

If I am lucky, I could get
A rarer Negg or sweet chocolate!
A Morphing Potion may be there.
I think this bag is worth the scare.

A Spring Snowbunny may delight,
Along with wearable in sight.
Or, worthless items may abound!
I could get junk this time around.

With sweaty palms, I open it.
Will I strike gold or throw a fit?
Away ornate gift wrap is peeled,
And goodies inside are revealed.

I got one junker and one gem!
From this my happiness will stem.
I love my new Spring Snowbunny---
This cheerful pal brings lots of glee.

Baelia the Grey

Once bathed in light, with wings of gold,
Baelia soared through skies so bold.
But darkness came, her wings torn,
And from that loss, the grey was born.

No longer bright, no powers shown,
She faced the shadows all alone.
Yet still she stood when others fled
A quiet strength the world had shed.

She mended towers, helped with grace,
Though sorrow marked her gentle face.
No spell to cast, no grand display,
Just her brave heart to light the way.

So on this Grey Day, let us say,
There’s beauty still in skies turned grey.
Though her wings were clipped, she still found acclaim,
And despite her grief, Baelia remains searching for her new name.

Kiki's Surprise

He once was Grand Bogen supreme,
is still held in decent esteem,
Rufus is his name;
for all his acclaim,
he's more complex than he might seem.

Each year, once Gadgadsbogen ends,
Rufus his energy expends,
To clean up the mess
and boost the success,
of the fiesta with guests and friends. 

The cute Petpets sold at his store?
Were all once refugees before,
Rufus took them in,
and since then has been
finding owners that they'll adore.

The Space Faerie was feeling generous and gave me a Toy Tent.

A Red Poogle just hopped by and greeted me with "Hi!"

Some events are fun, and others are quite scary.
Balthazar just ran by, trying to bottle up a faerie.
A ghost rose from the ground yelling out "BOO!"
At least this one didn't steal any Neopoints from you.

I just won an avatar! And didn't have to spend a cent.
Illusen has appeared, and gave me 10,000 neopoints!
Only those she feels are worthy are the ones she anoints.
