You'll find a wheel so dull.
This pastime is less than grand—
I don't like it at all.

While it may not take a while
Like a certain other wheel,
It will seldom make you smile
Or pay for fancy meals.

This game so very bland is led
By a Flotsam oh so bored.
Plesio's face seems quite dead
Regardless of your score.

So you've gotten the grand prize!
You may be overjoyed,
Yet there's no fun in this guy's eyes—
He's even quite annoyed.

If you visit Plesio,
Apathy is what you'll find
Because the sums of cash are low
And the loot's not of grand kind.

Fierce Flotsam Hunter

All the petpets of Neopia, 
With fins, with gills, with scales,
Live in fear of the Flotsam Hunter -
I'm sure you've heard the tales!

This fierce-looking creature
Swims through the rivers and the seas,
Hunting petpets far and wide,
He's an aquatic enemy!

Armed with nets and spears,
Equipped with hooks upon his back,
The Flotsam Hunter spends his time
Setting up his traps.

There's nothing he won't stop at,
There's little he won't do,
Through the water he ducks and dives,
Determined, resolute.

He preys upon water-based petpets,
He captures them with ease, 
The tiny creatures quake in fear
As he drags them through the seas.

But here's a little secret,
The petpets scared need not be,
They're taken to the Rock Pool,
And sold to loving families!

Glide past us gracefully. 

They're not just sea neopets,
or any marine creatures,
they're a mix of elegance and mischievousness
The flotsams of the great neopian sea,
We witness as they slide past in the river's breeze.

Flotsam Visits

I live in the ocean,
With all my fishy friends,
Exploring in the coral,
And following sea trends.

A horn upon my head,
And a fin upon my back,
I'm certainly no Jetsam,
So there's no fear of attack.

I'm a happy little Neopet,
Beneath the bright blue waves,
There's never been a Flotsam,
That often misbehaves.

I'm as playful as can be,
Blowing bubbles just for fun,
And my acrobatic tricks,
Can leave a crowd undone!

But, mostly I just like to swim,

The pools are open, the ocean is near

We'll celebrate under the hot, hot sun
Start with a barbecue, burgers and buns
A special day dawns, here to have fun
The Flotsams are swimming, July has just begun

The water loving Neopet that we all adore
With fins and a horn, never a bore
Splashing and soaking all of their friends
Flotsams are the life of the party, until the very end

As the sun starts to set, fireflies arrive
The campfire is burning, the moon rises high
We'll break out the marshmallows and crackers for s'mores
While the Flotsams come in, wading from the shore

With our best friends around, and Flotsams as well
Relaxing and laughing with stories to tell
Together we sing, voices filled with glee
No where better to be, than spending summer by the sea

in all of Neopia and beyond.
Flotsams are a species,
of which many are very fond.

Today we celebrate,
every Flotsam we know.

and the deep waters below.

A new Flotsam color,
will be released in celebration today.
I hope it is marble,
or candy- hooray!

Order up, it'll be right out.
But while you wait, I must ask,
If I can grant you with a task.

These ingredients I seem to lack,
Fetch them for me and come right back!
Then with my talent I will design
A beautiful dish that tastes so fine.

Jelly Flotsams

The jelly world may not exist, 
But jelly foods do.
If offered some, I would ask for:
"Jelly Flotsams, thank you!"

Shaped like Flotsams, these cute candies
Have great variety.
They're chewy, yummy, sour, sweet -
You'd eat them excitedly.

The Apple Jelly Flotsams are,
Green and extra juicy.
The Lime Jelly Flotsams are,
Sour but strangely yummy.

Created specially for Flotsam Day,
Is the Blueberry type.
Looking at the variety,
These jellies give me hype!

We cannot forget this next one;
It's greatly sought after.
It's the Banana Jelly Flotsam
And its unusual flavour.

Last but certainly not least,
We have Strawberry ones:
Chewy, fruity, tangy, sweet,
Yes, I would eat tons.

The next time you visit a store,
Consider buying some.

Flotsams celebration

Moving quickly through the water, 
Swaying their tail to and fro. 
There is a special Neopet, 
With a dolphin kinda flow.  
 
Flotsams are small in size,  
Which makes them easy prey. 
The bigger Neopets can hunt them down, 
And then begin to slay. 
 
But Flotsams can sense when they are not safe, 
Because they are very bright. 
They quickly consider their surroundings, 
And then swim out of sight. 
 
So on this day we celebrate, 
Our fishy little friends. 
Singing birthday songs and having fun, 
Until the day ends.

The Flotsam Hunter

For anyone who desires a fishy petpet
as a Maraquan refugees.
The Rock Pool has anything you'd like
for all your Petpet needs.

So if you wish for a Baby Blu
a Dartail or a Delfin
there's one Flotsam
that you should be callin'

The Flotsam Hunter is the one
who scourges the Maraquan Ruins
and when it comes to catching Petpets
his abilities make him a shoo-in.

His speed underwater is
matched only by his precision
in finding Sharky's or Pookas
or Tanizards or Soreens.

Given the scarcity and difficulty
of catching such Petpets
the high price he calls for
is considered well worth it.

So when seeing how much
the Lutra is worth currently
remember the Flotsam Hunter's skill
brings for the rise in the currency.
