Today marks a day,
very special in Neopia's history.
Why today is so special,
for many remains a mystery.

Many years ago,
on this very day.
The Ixi arrived in Neopia,
and decided to stay.

So now we celebrate,
this historical event.
With cake and presents,
and time with friends spent.

New Ixi items,
will be released today.
Like clothing and plushies,
and maybe a new paint brush color, yay!

The Story of Trudy's Surprise

Wow, us Ixis are so pristine!
We can always keep our shining hooves clean.
Our fluffy tails,
And our cute little choker.
Make us look like real jokers!

Which we are, and we love to tell jokes!
Just ask Trudy. Trudy? *pokes*

Speaking of Trudy, a long time from now,
There was a slot machine on her walk, somehow.
It was magical, she realized,
And there was a sparkle in her eyes.

It awarded more Neopoints each day,
And she didn't even have to pay!
So on the 25th day, she played the slots,
And out of the machine, 100,000 Neopoints shot!

And with her money, she didn't stall,
She want out and bought a frock for the ball!
After 25 days, though, things had changed.
Her winnings had been re-arranged.

Soon she realized, it reset after 25 days,
And now all of Neopia the machine pays.
She now calls it Trudy's Surprise,
Due to Neopia's surprise.

"Free Neopoints? How could it be?",
Asked one cute Ixi swimming in the sea. 
And all of Neopia had to come see.

So now, the slots, more points each day,
Have all of Neopia to pay.

The Arrival Of The Ixi

The Ixi's arrival was quite the surprise
Appearing quite suddenly before Neopian eyes

Bounding into Neopia full of energy and light
To see them at play is quite the delight

They are friendly and playful and ever so curious
We are lucky to have them (though their arrival IS mysterious)

We celebrate the day of their magical arrival
Because Neopia is the better for them, there is no denial

No one knows where they came from or where they had been
Perhaps there will come a day that they return again

Until that day comes let us rejoice in their presence
A Neopia with Ixis is just that much more pleasant
