A New Splash Of Colour!
by Tarchon

So, you've returned to Neopia once again.
Did you expect to see such colourful trends?
There are new splashes of colour all around.
From eventide to 8-bit,
There are plenty of new colours to be found.

Relic, transparent, and swamp gas.
This game is always such a blast.
No matter if you're young or old,
Neopia always has much to behold.

Woodland, wraith, and zombie.
I hope my Neopets don't haunt me.
Dimensional is quite shocking,
But this site is still rocking.

Can you discover them all?
Playing on this site is such a ball!
Don't tell me that there's jelly, too.
I heard it once from a Blumaroo!

Pastel, relic, and water.
Which should I choose?
It gets harder and harder and harder!

There are so many colours to choose from;
There's no way I could choose just one!
Now that I'm back in Neopia once again,
I'm going to have so much fun
With all my new Neopian friends!

Forgotten
by Bok_bok_bok

The area is deserted.
Nobody seems to be living.
The waves splash along
in the afternoon sun.

Walk along the shores.
You will understand then.
Nothing to wave to,
only your shadow.

What's this? A coin.
A chest. A shovel.
Some Neopoints. Well,
this place might not be so bad.

Look across from here, you'll see
a bunch of smugglers haggling.
Look behind you, a big wall
formed by ancient creatures.

The sun beams, scorches the sand.
The waves dim down... to nothing.
The crescent moon is now out,
leaving marks of white light.

Once in a while, something washes up
of a disaster that happened long ago.
Waves split. Ships collided.
All sorts of treasure was lost forever.

The sky is pitch dark now.
The moon has faded into the sea,
like the ship that was in a disaster
that happened long ago.

A Spender's Lament
by Sunwreaths

I travel 'round Neopia,
In search of ways to earn.
Every day my numbers rise
And, to the bank, I turn.

I’m desperate for those Neopoints,
They mean the world to me.
I always have inside my head
An expensive goal or three:

A Royal Paint Brush, Petpet, too,
An Ocean Warrior Dress,
A morphing potion for my 'pet
And other things countless.

But, as my balance rises up,
I sense a niggling thought.
I begin to browse the user shops,
In gambling I am caught.

A single Nerkmid turns to ten,
To twenty, thirty, more!
In minutes my dear Neopoints
Are half they were before!

I save and save to no avail,
I rarely reach my goal.
For, over my desire for risk
I have zero control.

But one day soon, I vow I’ll reach
The goals I’ve been pursuing.
I’ll end up with billions in the bank,
At the Tower I’ll be queueing!

Reset Day And Scores Galore!
by Jo_eccentric

I love to play the different types
Of games on Neopets.
I love the new month, when all
High scores will be reset.

Once, twice, three times,
Then I can play no more.
For, I cannot have Neopoints
Or get a new high score.

I forget that I can only
Submit points thrice a day.
But wait, this month's Scores Galore --
I shout loudly, "HOORAY!"

Every weekend this Hunting month,
I'm allowed two more tries.
This means I'll gain more Neopoints...
There's sparkles in my eyes.

A thousand Neopoints per game,
Five times that is 5k.
Ten games played per weekend,
In a month, 200k... NO WAY!

A chance to get new trophies,
As well as make some cash.
I love the first and Scores Galore,
I'm off to play Berry Bash!

Kari -- The Negg Faerie
by Jeslin__62

There is a fine ol' faerie,
Who resides in the Neggery,
She collects a certain egg-shaped fruit,
Humming at ease, always merry.

She has a kind heart
And a secret no one knows;
Guess no further,
She is Kari -- the Negg Faerie.

Some says she is the best faerie,
For she works her magic
By exchanging your ordinary, boring Neggs
With powerful, magical ones.
You ask me:
Why does she do so?
I can only answer you,
I don't know!

Perhaps you are curious
How does she plants her Neggs
In the chilly snow,
Where not a blade of grass is to be seen?
Once again,
I do not know.
Perhaps the Negg Faerie has
Powers that no one knows?

Dreaming of owning a Genius Negg?
A Power Negg? A Cool Negg?
Or, perhaps,
An Evil Negg?
Search no further,
You have come to the right place.
For Kari is here,
Waiting to trade in your Neggs.

At this time of the year
She is back for the Festival of Neggs,
With her she brings
The Negg-Gazer,
Flora the green-fingered Acara,
And dozens of patterned Neggs.

Fancy having your fortune told,
Or adding some greens to your household?
I suggest you pay them a visit,
For they will reward you most handsomely
With things
That'll make you smile joyfully.
