The Joys Of Dung
by Meghapsey

Dung, dung, wonderful dung!
Even dung omelettes to tickle your tongue!
Dung-painted 'pets have all its praises sung,
And the naughty young Myncies
Great handfuls have slung.

It may smell peculiar to those unrefined,
But push that reaction right out of your mind!
There is such variety that you can find!
From classic to rainbow, perhaps even signed?

You may think it silly, or vulgar and crude
To weave out this ode, though really it's not rude!
For, under the Money Tree and inside the dump
Are piles of the stuff, so please don't be a grump!

My Little Babaa
by Siren_girl

I have a little Babaa
And Flufty is his name;
He destroys all of my furniture
When he plays his Babaa games.

I like to send him out
To prove that he is best;
When it comes to the chills
Of a Grave Danger quest.

I have a little Babaa
And Flufty is his name;
He likes to meet with cultists
To play their funny games.

He can't wake the Turmaculus,
The giant one that snores.
And, though he tries his best,
He always is ignored.

I have a little Babaa
And Flufty is his name;
I love him very much
And that will never change.

A Party Planner's Woes
by A_fish_named_fish

Have you ever tried planning a big fest?
I ask, because the whole idea's got me stressed.
It can't be done. Simply can't be done. No way!
Selecting a venue has left me dismayed.

Moltara's too hot (and short a few gears);
Kreludor's got vibe, but no atmosphere.
The Mystery Island,
Now that could be jamming!
Too small, though...
I'm afraid we'd be cramming.
Altador's booked -- something about a Cup,
And Maraqua's out... we'd all just float up!
Not Meridell if King Hagan gets word,
Tyrannia's "dated," or so I have heard.
And forget anywhere whose name includes
"Terror" or "Haunted," as I can allude
I'll be too scared to enjoy my own fete.
This is all too much for my aching tete!

What's that you're saying? "Don't give up yet?"
This world is much like a game of roulette.
It's full of surprises -- some good, some sin,
But you won't know 'till you go for a spin.
Neopia awaits! And all its lands
Just waiting for you to go get your hands
Dirty, squishy, snowy, cloudy, or splashed,
As I can attest it's always a bash!

Neopia’s Greatest Food
by Terratron78

What’s the best food in all Neopia?
It comes in flavors galore,
And your 'pets love it so much
That they beg you for more...

It is not quite solid,
And also transparent.
It moves on your spoon
In a manner that’s errant.

It wobbles,
It squishes,
And leaves slime trails
All over your dishes.

Savor varieties like lint, lime,
Glowing, Chokato, and snot!
Just watch out you aren’t suspended
Inside it, trapped and caught!

Jelly is the food of choice
For all Neopians of discerning taste.
Slurp it all easily down,
There is no need to waste.

Where does all the jelly come from?
No one quite knows the way.
If you do happen to find it, though,
Only take one serving per day!

Mystery Island
by Ivaylos

The source of many an escapists’ fancy,
An enigmatic jungle,
A joyous gathering of sources
With natives ever-willing to offer hospitality
The primal core of nature’s forces.

The unsullied clarity of the azure skies
Falls in gentle refractions to the ocean’s surface,
Soothing the heart and enriching the eyes
Of all who behold the peaceful grandeur.

Spilling breakers roil against
The harbor’s ancient framework,
A pair of laughing Pteri spiral in lazy rounds
The thickened breeze is laced
With the scent of sun-ripened fruit,
And meditating 'pets
Ponder in the Training Grounds.
