My Hidden Haven
By Cherrylipz_35
Far beyond our shining seas
and high above the rugged land
extending past the stars above
appearing as a grain of sand
is a secret land, a wondrous place
more great than planets we know
where you can find the desert sun
a league away from winter's snow.
Castles built of shining bricks!
Kingdoms; steadfast, proud, and true.
Even cities buried in
the corals of the ocean blue.
It's all there, awaiting me,
I can feel its lusty pull.
It's sweeping me far away
from this life; it is so dull.
You can have this pleasure too
if you are willing to leave
all you know and all you fear.
It's possible. Just believe!
But I must end this as of now
for mine ears can hear the call
of my haven, far away
where dreams and magic astonish all.

Morning in Meridell
By Sweet_daydream
The morning song of Pteris
Rings out just like a bell,
The grassy plains sparkle with dew
In far off Meridell.
Sun glistens o'er the horizon,
Its light starting to swell,
And rosy pink sunrise dazzles
The land of Meridell.
The Citadel is looming -
The foe we seek to quell -
But morning sleepiness subdues
A peaceful Meridell.
Gentle snores are heard from where
Turmaculus does dwell,
He slumbers on like all are now
In sleepy Meridell.
The Mortogs start a'croaking,
Buyers, and wares to sell,
The sounds of a new day rumbles,
Wakening Meridell.
The castle fills with hopefuls
Who have jokes they seek to tell.
To poke fun at King Hagan will please
King Skarl's Meridell.
Green smoke has begun curling
As Illusen weaves a spell.
Neopians wait at her door
In magic Meridell.
And now the sun has risen,
It's time to say farewell,
As morning magic starts to charm
The plains of Meridell.

Pirates
By Peanut02395
He stares at the ocean, the untamable ocean,
It's golden and crystal and clear,
The sun sets behind it,
Where they never can find it,
Ane he wipes at a frustrated tear.
"It's uncrossable, that ocean,
The wild, roaring ocean,"
He weeps in his anger and fright,
And a hoarse shouting cry
Of "We're all going to die",
Rings over the poop-deck at night.
The Captain approaches, his fury approaches,
"What moaning is this that I hear?
You're a Pirate, you clod, a rough lootin' Pirate
What is it that we've got to fear?
"We pillage and loot, and store gold to boot,
And swash-buckle-buckle all day,
We're an army of Pirates,
Hard-tack eating Pirates,
Are you listening to what I say?"
The Pirate is weeping, shakes his head
And, still weeping,
Points to a barrel of gold,
"We're all going to die, and I'll tell you why,
Someone drank all the drinks that were cold!
"All that's left are so hot, so melty and hot,
Our slushies are nothing but goo,
And our proud little smoothies,
Such cold frothy smoothies,
Why, they're deceased and gone too!"
The Captain cries out, he pulls his hair out,
"How can this be?" he wails.
And the grand ship so mighty,
So wonderfully water-tighty,
Turns back with the wind in its sails.
For it's ever so true, as true as dark blue,
A Pirate is so strange and bizzare,
They have to have ice, their cold, crushed ice,
Without it, they won't go far.

The Lab Ray's Horrors
By Voldemorts_evil_spy
The sun is trickling through the sea,
In golden, dusty streams.
It is an airless wonderland,
That lives in all my dreams.
I cannot go there on my own,
Tis a deam where I can't be.
But this misty land of make believe,
By night sings songs to me.
It wanders through my calmest dreams,
It torments me by day.
And though I know it's lost to me,
I still keep hope and pray.
This land of air is fire,
It burns my tender skin.
How I long to be in water!
To play in waves again.
But I cannot go back there,
The Lab Ray's fire and smoke,
Turned me from silky Maraquan,
To a spiky artichoke!
