BLUMAROO DAY SPECIAL

Blumaroos
by Fleur_411

Come one! Come all!
It’s time to heed our call
It is Blumaroo Day
And time for all to shout “Hooray!”

You may have heard
(We’ve been spreading the word)
Of some well-known Blumaroos
And here, we’ll take about a few.

Of King Roo, of course, we’ll tell
He rules his kingdom very well
Roo Island, it is called by name,
Dice-a-Roo is the favorite game.

And Count Von Roo
We will speak of, too,
He resides in the Haunted Woods
And sneaks into villages, stealing goods.

Well now, do not fret
Commander Garoo we won’t forget
When he took over the Space Station
All could hear evil cries of elation.

Well now, as you can all see
There are many ‘roos, including these three
All of them are really great
And this is why we celebrate!

Blumaroo Apprentice
by Phadalusfish

Light glitters through the
Stained glass windows.

Streams of motes
Trickle through the air,
And come to rest
On his potion bench.

There’s a wooden stand
With half a dozen vials
And a few glass bottles
Freestanding.

Behind him, on the shelf
Are flasks and bowls,
And red velvet sacks
Filled with ingredients.

He rolls back
And fishes for them
With his tail
Without looking.

He adds them to his
Cauldron without checking
The label first, trusting
That his tail moved true.

The potion sizzles and boils.
Clouds of smoke motes dance
Above the bench. The scent of
Potion brewing fills the air.

And then, he loses his balance.
His tail is no longer beneath him,
Instead waving in the air,
Just at bench level.

It knocks a glass jar
Into the potion.
The glass cracks.
The liquid seeps out.

He has to start all over,
But he doesn’t regret
Being a Blumaroo
Just for the mischief of his tail.

Aristotle A. Avinroo
by Vesuth

A Games Master extraordinaire,
With yellow ears and orange hair.
The smartest Blumaroo in the land.

Many know me as AAA,
Host of Daily Dare with games to play.
Challenge me, but first understand:

I'm not an easy foe at all,
Rise to my dare and you will fall.

30 days of games to win a prize,
Practice beforehand would be very wise.

Why not challenge my sister Abigail?
She's small and sweet and very frail.

A much easier opponent, but we'll see.
Beat her scores and aim for me.

There's no IQ as high as mine,
As Games Master, I am divine.
The champion of every game.

New games come and old games go,
More victories for me to sow.
To complete them all is my aim.

A History Of Dice-A-Roo
by Salorich

King Roo of the Blumaroos
Sat bored in his throne room.
There was nowhere to go
And nothing to do,
What he needed was something new.

His staff searched far and they searched wide,
But no new game was found.
He was still very bored
And was losing all hope,
Until came a 'roo in a cloak.

"My name is not important,
But I bring you a gift."
He reached in his robe
And rummaged 'round twice,
Then pulled out five magical dice.

One was red and one was yellow,
The others blue, white, and green.
To the King he proclaimed,
"No two games are the same,
May you never be bored again!"

The King named the game Dice-A-Roo,
And declared it as official,
He never was bored
Nor had nothing to do,
'Cause of that mystery Blumaroo!

Don't Eat The Chocolate 'Roos!
by Agedbeauty

Blumaroos make great 'pets
No matter the colour, but
There’s one 'Roo I love most!

The chocolate Blumaroo --
Topped with whipped cream
And twirled with white chocolate, mm.

But though they look delicious,
Chocolate 'Roos just
Aren’t for eating -- oh no!

Though you might want
To nom the cherries on their ears,
Don’t eat this Blumaroo!

Instead, keep your chocolate 'Roo
Inside your Neohome, where it’s cool
And out of direct sunlight.

With proper care, your chocolate 'Roo
Will bring you lots of fun and joy,
So don’t eat your chocolate Blumaroo!

Uggaroo The Tricky Blumaroo
by Mamasimios

There was a time in old Tyrannia,
When gambling was a passing mania,
And a Blumaroo named Uggaroo
Hosted a game called Switch-A-Roo.

Hiding a ball under one of three shells,
He then would mix them very well.
Inviting a gambler to make the call,
The mark would try to find the ball.

Deft Uggaroo would make a switch,
And the Blumaroo got very rich,
As no one could ever seem to pick
The shell with the ball under it.

Eventually no gamblers came
To play Uggaroo's most tricky game,
So the Blumaroo decided to undergo
An advanced course on Go!Go!Go!.

Now he sits around the stone card table,
Dark sunglasses make him unreadable,
Eager to hang on to his crown
And forever be the best gambler around.

You may also see him passing by
If you give Tyranu Evavu a try --
He may no longer run the Switch-A-Roo,
But Uggaroo is yet a tricky Blumaroo

Custard Blumaroo Surprise
by Fluffiehmedic

Crouched and poised to spring,
Concealed within a pie,
Custard Blumaroo waits --
Anticipation high.

With mischief in his eyes,
Golden ears alert,
He tries to keep from laughing.
That rascally dessert!

A shuffling sound draws near,
And so, ever prepared,
He launches himself out of the pie.
His Blumaroo friends he's scared!

The sole intent of breezy fun
That ev'ry Blumaroo's got
Was evident in all present --
They laughed right on the spot.

The Fetch Blumaroo
by Kaddiez

Oh, the woes of the Fetch Blumaroo,
Who constantly scours the maze.
Trying to find things for his master,
Searching on end for days.

Oh, the glooms of the Fetch Blumaroo,
No one even knows his name.
The only reason his story is known
Is because of that one horrid game.

Oh, the pains of the Fetch Blumaroo,
Whose master’s so cruel and unkind.
He hides in the shadows, listing off items
The Blumaroo is forced to find.

Oh, the trials of the Fetch Blumaroo,
Placed in a labyrinth all by himself.
Dead ends and false leads all plague his way,
Every step draining his health.

Oh, the sorrows of the Fetch Blumaroo,
For whom failure is not a choice.
“Do not come back if you don’t find it!”
Booms his master’s familiar voice.

Such a little fellow with an unfortunate fate,
Oh, the poor, poor Fetch Blumaroo.
And the worst of it all comes in that maze,
Because he’s controlled by you!

Blumaroo Bouncing Boots
by Geneames1

Of all the sports that one can play,
Basketball is one that's rough,
If you're not tall or really fast
Then victory is tough.

If you're tired of losing games
And really want to end them,
Blumaroo Bouncing Boots will work --
I highly recommend them!

A pair of BBBs on your feet will
Shoot you in the air,
You'll soar above the other team
As if they weren't there.

Your newfound prowess at the game
Will send opponents reeling,
Bounding and rebounding,
You'll almost hit the ceiling!

So, if you really want to win,
Wear BBBs to every game,
I guarantee the way you play
Will never be the same!

Lilo The Great
by Redeemyourself

Now that the Cup is over,
We can take a rest.
The teams' different players,
Prepare for the next test.
One player comes to mind,
A favourite from the 'Roos.
Once a winner years ago,
They've had a lot to lose.

But knowledge from their captain,
Keeps their spirits high.
Training all winter long
For a chance to retry.

Lilo Blumario:
A fantastic athlete.
He's quite accomplished,
Which is truly quite a feat.
He's an all-star forward,
And the Cup's MVP.
With skills that most envy,
Other teams will agree.

He's hoisted the Cup,
A champion in his right.
Off the field he's great:
Modest and polite.

Today we commend you,
On your accomplishments thus far.
On this Blumaroo Day,
You shine as its star!
