The Fisherman
By Realmofmist
A strong wind floods across a sea of green,
There's gonna be a storm tonight.
But he can't move,
Frozen in the eye of the storm,
The rain thrashes against him from all sides.
The sky erupts with anger, rumbling her warning.
But to him, the lightning falls on grounded ears.
A wave whips through the grass,
The blades become razor sharp.
He catches the torrent head on,
Another scar, another day.
He fishes across the seasons,
An endless struggle to remember the past.
His hook swimming along the grassland-floor,
An endless struggle against the current.
In search of something he lost at sea.
An endless struggle to let go.
The Fishing Jetsam Gnome,
Frozen in time, yet always on the move,
Fishing for a shipwreck in the lawn.
Pieces of a place he once called home.

Kookia-ville
By Chax1414
Kookiths have escaped
and spread through Neopia.
With all the evil Petpets,
who knows if there is any hope left?
From Brightvale they spread,
leaving nothing unturned.
They wreak havoc on crops
and leave them to burn.
They also found Meridell,
which has plenty of foods to destroy.
What they don't realise
is that food is not a toy.
Kookiths find Darigan Citadel
the most fun of all,
For they can ruin the small village
and climb the castle wall.
In Kiko Lake they party
and hide their master Kookith.
Too bad their reign will end there,
in the Kiko Lake village.
So hurry up and stop them
before it's too late.
For these Petpets feel
nothing but hate.

Freedom's Wave
By Solcana64
She had no ties,
Wild was written in her eyes.
She belonged in the sea,
Where she could be free.
I tried to make her domestic,
As a royal she was majestic.
But robes were not her pace,
Wild was written on her face.
She broke from civilised chains
And took over her own reins.
She left me a note one night
To tell me that she'd taken flight.
I thought I saw her the other day,
Playing in the waves and sun rays.
A Tyrannian Peophin with a royal's rings,
Flying high on freedom's wings.
She had no ties,
Wild was written in her eyes.
She belonged in the sea,
Where she could be free.

Cliffhanger
By Notonetobequiet
What awaits the silly Tuskaninny
Who faces chiseled cliffs?
Upon which frozen water leans,
Scratching, pushing -- a squealing riff --
Climbing up with naught but subdued hope
In the search of conquest, determined,
Pulling himself upon slackened rope.
Ascending as the sun meets the horizon, ablaze
Momentarily pausing, stretching,
Shielding glowing eyes from the painful glaze;
Up top, victorious, triumphant smile,
Placing a banner, wavering in the blizzard --
Determination was the answer all the while...

Kiko Lake
By Cookybananas324
Cool, peaceful waters
Flow over vast coral reefs
Quiet paradise
Overlooked by most
Who seek out flashier lands
Quiet Kiko Lake
Extends a welcome
To intrepid travellers
Who leave the worn path
For glass-bottomed boats
Over clear, glassy waters
Showing off their hidden depths
Mystery Island
Has its charms; Faerieland, too
But they're not for me --
Find me on the rocky shores
Gazing over Kiko Lake.
