It started out with just bare floor
When my Eyrie said, "Let's add some more!"
So very plain paper was put on the walls
Then my Eyrie said, "That is not all!"

We added a fireplace
And brought in a bed
With a matching rug
Then my Eyrie said,

"I want my Zen Mirror there.
Put my Funky Chair here.
Cm'on spread the Cream Rug!
Now, there's a dear!"

I then bought insurance
To protect us from thieves
For now I am broke
And my empty wallet grieves!

A message rolls across my screen,
An enemy has summoned me
To a fierce fight,
I don my shield,
And take along my cannon,
Just for luck.

I enter the Battledome
To my audience's deafening cheers,
I take a bow and face my foe,
Fingers hovering over the keys.
I strike first, fierce and fast,
Neither with mercy nor definite plan.

They strike back,
My shield deflects the blow,
Sending a glowing spark.
I attack again,
With cannon and card
Breaking through defenses.
What an opponent,
What a fight,
What a game!

We clash again,
Each getting weaker
Round by round.
But who shall fall first
Is the only question
In our minds.
Each striving to hold it out,
We sweat and strain and battle on.

The last round comes
We try our best
To win this lengthy trial.
I strike the final blow.
The game is won
After a long and tiring fight.
I retreat to lick my wounds,
My head held high in victory!

I quiver with anticipation.
The Battledome? Me?
I've heard so much about it.
Is it possible?
Is it true?
It will be my first time...
How will I do?!
Will I do well?
Will I fight like a veteran?
Or will the fight be a flop?
That image of me
Being dragged out of the arena...
I shiver,
The thought being
Too horrible to think about.
I approach the huge stadium.
It's shadow looming over me
Like an hungry animal.
Well...
I guess I'll do my best.

In Terror Mountain,
there it sits,
as innocent as can be,
it may look,
like a normal ski lodge,
but you will see...
Those who go in,
never come out.
Or at least,
all but one.
The murderer,
the dreadful person,
soon they will have won.
To kill all others,
is their goal,
getting them one by one.

the answer is none.
