The wood scrapes,
little splinters fly in the air,
the wood warming.
The little Kacheek smirking all the way,
a tiny little ember embarks,
the Kacheek grins and rubs harder.
A larger flame bursts,
the Kacheek sets it on a pile of wood,
a large bonfire starts.
A little Cybunny trots over,
they both smile,
and walk off to bed.

The trees are sheathed in ice,
Crystal sculptures, they stand in snow,
Bending beneath their burdens,
Flashing in the sunlight,
Reflecting the rain that created them.
Droplets are caught on the tips,
And sheath the longer branches,
Encasing them in loveliness.
Mute sculptures they stand,
Caught in winter's vise,
Bearing the cost of this beauty.
Some like the willow,
Flex their branches gracefully,
Moving through a crystal rhythm,
In a dance of flashing light.
The sun promises release.
But the cold keeps captives still.
I, too, await the change of seasons
Remembering the beauty and the price
Of the winter storm.

Beside the bushes,
I sat dreamily,

That seems far,far away...
I can smell the sweet fragrance,
Of grasses and leaves,
And flowers that seem to bloom,
With all their might.
I can feel the breeze,
Gently brushing past me...
In harmony with the flowing river,
That looks so calm.
And all this while,
The touch of nature,
Seems to fill my heart with pleasure,
And as I look around,
I can't help but wonder,
How great these creations are...
