High above the rolling hills
There sits a little faerie
Upon a cloud she sits and sups
Tn her bower so airy
Before her lies a birch-bark dish
Garnished with a rainbow
In her hand is a violet�s cup
From which her wine does flow
A bit of sunbeam from the sky
Makes her a meal divine
And stardust from the Milky Way
Makes tiny cakes, quite fine!
When she has finished her tiny meal
In her elfin hall
She bathes in raindrops
In an acorn cup so small
She shakes the shining drops from her hair
And bids the sun goodbye
And in a walnut shell
With silken coverlet she does lie
Good night

As I wait here, in this little box,
The moonlight glimmering on my white back,
I smile as I wait for the sunrise to come.
For tomorrow is Christmas,
A slight change from where I came from.
The morning light is sweet,
As I know what is coming.
As little pounding feet come running.
The lid is whipped off,
To reveal me, a Wocky.
The girl's face lights up with surprise and joy.
"Look what Daddy got me! A Koi!"
Oh well, she can call me whatever she wants.
I don't care.
I have a home, a real home.
And a family too.
Finally, I can have a family.

Late Night Cafe By shuurin

I sit in the crowd,
a miasma of smoke and muffled voices
drifts through the air,
an Aisha sits on a stool on stage,
the dim light of the candles
dance and sparkle on her ruby fur,
the crowd hushes as she readies to speak,
a small rosy tongue leaves her lips
moistening her preparing mouth.
A boisterous song?
A meloncholy poem?
A speech to stimulate a freedom of the masses?
Her eyes glitter sharply,
she flashes a curt smile,
with a twitch of her ear she makes
her thoughts known:
"Meow"
the words of an enlightened soul.

The Fire Spirit roves the land
And, eyes burning and gleaming like glowing embers
Dances with the wind
He stands proud as the mighty oak
And moves like a shadow on the sea
Possessing an old, wild grace
Like flames shooting up
Into a night sky he shimmers
And sounds a challenge
To the mountains high above and far away
His voice carries an eerie melody
As he trots his steps are light as rain

The wind of it blows him onward
