Through the Winter
By dire18
The bright winter moon shines
on the falling flakes of snow.
Tall birch trees cast shadows through
the frozen wilderness.
Through it all races a Lupe pack.
The air is frozen.
The ground is cold.
The Lupes are oblivious to it all,
for not even the harsh winters of Neopia
can break the bonds that tie them together.
The pack stays together,
whether it is hot or cold,
regardless of what happens.
The pack moves on,
the pups occasionally romping in the snow.
The trees give way to a clearing
where the pack stops to rest.
They stand together,
united, together, a family.

Shoyru Of the Sky
By squall654321
I am a Shoyru
fearless and strong
standing by my Pet's pet
seeing the blue sky
looking far and wide
thinking of his home
vowing to be the greatest pet
watching the Battldome that is far and large
don't need a reason to help people
see a Kiko...help the Kiko
see a ghost...destroy the ghost
playing with the Pet's pet
brave storms and wind
have fortune together
go forward to the destination
together...the pet and the Pet's pet
go to the next town

The Cloud Faerie
By sarai_u_infinity
Flitting from cloud to cloud,
Her jet black hair waving behind her,
A Faerie flies,
Awaiting her freedom.
With high-top slippers and a silver robe,
She flies again,
Looking down upon the planet.
Reaching her hand through the cloud, she struggles
To reach her goal, but to no avail.
Angry, she stomps off, but much too hard!
Opening a hole in the sky, the Cloud Faerie
Falls through to her much awaited freedom.
Landing with an, "Ouch!" on the grass,
The Cloud Faerie stands and sees the land
That the Earth Faerie has tamed so well.
But woe betides the one who lingers...
A hungry jaguar spies from behind a tree.
Turning around, the Cloud Faerie shrieks,
And takes off into the sky
With a last glance at Earth.
Perhaps home isn't so bad after all.

Tears Of The Lost
By paladin00
A rush of water, a surge of movement,
His sharp eyes caught in the waters.
He soared high in the clouds,
Enjoying the challenge of the fierce winds.
Below him, a group of Peophins swam gracefully,
Their jeweled masks reflecting the light of the sun,
Causing a strange glowing affect in the waters.
It was as a sea of light shimmering beneath him.
Down he dove to view
This spectacular sight in all its glory.
As he gazed upon the ocean surface,
Creatures he could see,
Traveling under the waters with incredible speed.
He then recognized them,
The powerful, mystical creatures they call Peophins.
What a sight it was to see,
However the eyes were not alone in their wonder.
A great rumbling could be heard from under the sea.
Such was the sound that every creature around fled,
Leaving only the brave and curious Tatsu
To view this wonder.
The reserved, dignified creatures
Did not even acknowledge
The Tatsu's presence as they sped along.
His gaze was suddenly shifted
To the far side of the ocean.
Another massive group of some sort
Was speeding towards the Peophins.
They were greater in number, he could tell.
And they had the jeweled masks also.
The image was of two huge, strange, sea monsters
Composed of pure light
Charging each other, unafraid, unwavering.
Then the two groups clashed,
Defending their territorial waters viciously.
The peophins fought with skill and prowess,
Displaying their might.
Finally one group veered away from the battle,
It was the larger of the two.
The smaller group stayed unmoving
In the seas now tainted.
It was then he realized, they'd been defeated,
Their masks still shining in the water.
They were a faded glory,
A light now fizzled into nothing.
The battle was a spark of violence,
Ending in a split second.
The Peophins already gone,
A memory as their remains.
A battle, fleeting glory, but what was left?
Destruction, the sad lonely memories of those lost.
Was it worth it ? Could it have been changed?
