These smart, feathered Neopets are front and center,
One of these Pets might just be an inventor.

For all Lenny have special traits,
You best be smart and not get in any debates.
Wings for flight, should the need arise -
A flying Lenny should not be a surprise!

Should you seek out a gift, a book is in order.
Maybe even a few, as to avoid disorder!
Perhaps some new gloves might do the trick,
Anything to protect their wings are bound to click.

Once upon a time that’s now
A feeble Lenny donned his robe
He gathered up his incense stick
An avian germaphobe

His beak is covered by a mask
That twins its shape and ventilates
His wings, gloved, seem to struggle
As they push open the rusty gates

His meagre coins are in his pouch
Stowed safe from the Pant Devil
Payment given by those grateful
To Plague Doctor Whevel

Yes Whevel is the Lenny’s name
And ghostly is his gangly guise
Watch him toddle down the path
That morning mist half hides

Shrouded by his spectral wisps
And smoke from his bronze censer
The mist, smoke, and his feather-glow –
It’s hard to tell what’s denser

Now I will tell a little more
Because I’m an anecdotist:
In life, sickness plagued him all the time
When he died, he barely noticed

To this day he remains frail
From his plumage falls a limpid quill!
But he heads now to the Healing Springs
To help Marina cure ill

Maybe you will see him there
If you catch a case of Sneezles
(Or I’ve heard the Wheel of Misfortune
Can cause a myriad of evils)

The Ballad of Binal the Lenny

Young Vela Binal never thought
He’d have a chance playing this sport.
But still, he practiced every day,
Altador Cup, a dream away. 

Then one June night, some news arrived, 
To save a goal, Koric had dived
And in the process hurt his foot,
Confined to bed, he must stay put.

Mystery Island has a space,
Our Lenny hero’s on the case.
Called in to meet captain Volgoth,
Could Vela wear green and gold cloth? 

To his surprise, he’s on the team,
Volgoth upheld his lifelong dream,
“But be prepared to prove yourself,
We need a trophy for this shelf!”

The day arrived, Vela’s first game,
His nerves threatened to shake his frame.
But he held firm, defending well
Against all shots Brightvale could shell.

The game was drawn, a tension set
Four seconds left in play, and yet
Here comes Vela, Yooyu in hand
A defender scored a goal? How grand! 

Mystery Island wins the match
This Lenny’s shots, too swift to catch. 
The team held him aloft, for sure
Vela Binal, rookie no more!

The Memoirs of Finneus the Archivist

A thousand years a city slept
'Till just a legend it became
Meanwhile I work'd, and wrote, and wept
Preserv'd history froze in shame

"The Archivist" became my role
To save and sort our treasur'd past

Knew I, too, our curse would not last

Reclaim what we'd forgot, in new
Books penn'd free from a foggy brain

It’s a cruel fate, time won’t rewind

I was locked away for years,

I’ve listened to the clock gears,

each one spent can’t be restored.

Of how Moss didn't fail
